Love it here. Very traditional! Old school. Not your typical up to date salon but the service & ladies are amazing!

I visited this salon on July 3 to have my gel polish removed. Before getting my gel service, I was told the removal would be $5 for my hands and $5 for my feet. When I returned, I was told it would cost $15 instead. Customers should receive consistent pricing, not different prices from different employees. I also have paid $45 for a manicure and pedicure, but the service was disappointing. There was little to no hand or foot massage, and the pedicure was done using a plastic liner in a bucket, making the experience feel rushed and basic. The staff also spent much of the time speaking to each other in another language while customers were present, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. Overall, I was disappointed with the inconsistent pricing, the quality of the service, and the lack of professionalism. I won't be returning. read more

Dnt like the prices since Covid but that was to be expected with the new law changes due to Covid. Will always come back for the works nails eyebrow and pedicure. This is my 3rd time coming here. Usually they're ok for the price. They're pedicures are out of a bucket not a regular pedicure chair, it's tolerable because they're only $15. Today I came in for a pedi & fill & asked for them to be a little shorter as they grew out from the last set I got from them & I have to have short nails (my jobs policy) I had square nails & asked for them to be tapered in a bit, she happily did so. When I was being charged the total was $68! I said wait the last time I came I got a full set & pedi & my total was $55 how am I being charged more for a fill & pedi?! They started racking up things saying $15 for pedi, $25 for fill, $5 for shape & $5 for cut down! Which still doesn't come out to $68! I said this doesn't make any sense! I felt that they just make up prices as they go to make more money aka scam! The last person that did my nails informed me when I requested stiletto shape that it would be $8 extra so I declined & got squared. Had I be informed I'd be charged for the tapering & shortening of my nails I would have kept them squared & same length & filed them shorted myself! The place I went to before even turned me down even though I spend a good $200\,mo there..I called within time..needed a fill & had 2 broken nails & HAD A FUNCTION TO GO TO!! Went everywhere & was told NOPE...APPT ONLY..Sometimes very rudely! I havent had my nails done in ever and im not from this part of town up until recently...so i needed to find a good place to get my mani pedis done again.....and if u battle ingrown u know its a hit or miss with salons alot....well i called this place and wanted to make an appt, the lady(sorry i forgot her name)!! She was nice and told me to just come in..i was hoping it wouldnt be a horrible wait..i didnt leave my name..well i showed up within the hour and she recognized my voice with the call i made prior ..had me in a chair in minutes with hot water soaking!! I was terrified for her cuz my toes needed major assistance but she literally made them sooooooo cute! I did the gel on my hands and feet along with waxing and it was all reasonable in price, amazing job. Week and a half later and my nails still look almost new, i type at work all day or im sure theyd last longer cuz my toes still look BRAND NEW!!! This place is the new spot forsure!! Truly disappointed, 70.00$ for this. I feel scammed , the ladies do not sanitize the chairs and tables after each session. As you can see from my nails the lady who did them rushed to finish which was strange because it was not busy. She didn't even bother to clean up the polish around my cuticles . Overall a terrible job. I won't be returning. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would ! Going here reminded me why you don't go to cheap new places! (And they weren't even that cheap $45 short set) Whichever lady did my nails sucks idk how she is working. when I saw the lady putting small wet acrylic beads on my nails she had to put like 20 beads on each nail it took her forever VS just grabbing one good size bead not too wet for the nail and one smaller one to drag down from the cuticle. I've never went to no darn nail school and I know that much! Her shape was awful too and her cheap acrylic product she used on my nails was ridiculously thick I told her to make it thinner now it's about 2 weeks all the nails are still on (so great you would think right ? WRONG!) the cuticle part on every nail is lifted so my hair (which is super long) keeps getting ripped out. You would think well hey why don't I pop them off right? Well see they used some very cheap acrylic product on my nail this stuff if rock hard and I'm struggling to take it off with cuticle cutters let alone if I bit them off like I always do ..I would cry from pain. Oh and before I forget wen she shaved my real nail beds down for application she used a fast setting with a lot of pressure on my nails so they are so thin it hurts as I am trying to take them off (more thin than usual damage from nails) aka excessive damaging for no reason ! they are supposed to lightly shave the top of your nail to AVOID THIS ISSUE! so now I'm struggling hard to take these nails off wish me luck ! read more

KATHY IS THE BEST wen it comes to doing a pedicure the way I like! I am VERY PICKY and I like to get what some call a "Filipino pedicure" which essentially is A DEEP CLEANING. Kathy is PERFECT for removing ingrown nails, ingrown skin etc. upon my first visit I explained what type of pedicure I was looking to receive and she CONFIDENTLY let me know she can do it. Downside * the place is small *they are always busy /crowded But I REFUSE to give them less than 5 stars because they WORK FAST AND THOROUGH, they have good customer service and take care of EVERYONE that walks in. They should charge MORE for the quality of service they provide , I always ensure a generous tip ! read more

Got my nails done here because of all the great reviews. I get the no spa chairs so it keeps the pedicure cost low ( the reason for any stars) I had a gel mani and ref pedi and cost was $31.00 not too bad. Well I noticed they did not take any instruments out of sterilization bags!! I don't know how they clean them. Got my pedi and the girl started cutting the side of my nail on my big toe and pulling the skin!! I didn't ask to have any Ingrown nail removed. I was shocked as this has never happened to me before. By the time she got to my other foot she started to do the same. I told her it hurt too much. She just kept saying sorry and squeezed my toe as blood kept coming out. She said she was removing skin. That I was too much. Anyways now I'm here with swollen toes and the bleed all day I'm my shoes. So scared of an infection. That lady was practically doing surgery on me. read more

This place not only didn't have spa chairs (which isn't a deal breaker but usually nail salons have them) but the place just looks dirty when you walk in. I told my mom to try another place because it just didn't look appealing, but the lady who greeted us had a great personality so we gave it a shot! It was by far the quickest pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. I sat down and within 10 minutes the pedicure was complete. The only good thing about this place was the ladies who work there are very kind hearted. They did seem to know what they were doing with full sets, so maybe this is the place for you if that is what you're looking for read more

Five star nails at a reasonable price never a disappointment. Absolutely love all the ladies kim the owner, kathy,cindy and Nancy. Been going to nail shop since I was child with my mother. Ladies are professional, friendly, fast and good at what they do. Always fun and good times when going to this shop I feel home. However, during the pandemic prices has changed and a bit pricey. But that's ok because those are my girls and I want to see them to be able to continue business, they do follow all CDc guidelines with the temputure taking, limit capacity, and constant sanitizing and mask wearing. If you had a bad experience is because sometimes they bring there family members from overseas and they be just learning to do nails but I love them, this shop, they are really involved and apart of the community. I love this nail shop. Been coming here for years. Kim is the only one who knows how to effectively cut my ingrown toenails. They always treat me well and do a really thorough job. I found this diamond in the rough. I used to pay 100 for my lashes and didn't like the service. Here I get my lashes done for 15 dollars! !!!! I swim shower work out and they look fabulous. They actually I have stayed on for three weeks. Its a full service shop manipeds too. Kim is friendly and professional. It's my go to beauty spot. No frills but the results are well worth it. Be prepared to wait. Bring cash and it's not in the best part of long beach however the locals that hang out in front are respectful. Bring a positive attitude and an open mind. read more

I went here to do my eyelashes for my baby shower tomorrow and now i dont want to go to my own shower. Thats how bad they look they put so much glue on top of them its even on my eyelids u can see all the shiny glue. Plus i seen her do someone elses lash b4 mine n she took her time but hurried n rushed to do mine. Really? How do you expect ppl to come back.
