I've never really considered getting an EV they've always been out of my price range. I was convinced by my future landlord to look into EVs as he'd give me quite a few incentives. I knew an Ioniq was top of my list I didn't want a tesla or Polestar. When I compared a few websites and even Hyundai dealership, evercars had just a little bit better pricing. But it wasn't a well known dealership that I've heard of so submitted an inquiry. The person online said I could test drive either walk in or appointment. By then I've already been to so many dealerships I was like what they heck let me just go right now and check it out and know if I even want to consider an EV. The salesperson I met was named Zack, he was so friendly has helpful. I hope him my situation and how I don't know much about EVs but I just wanted to see what it's all about. It did take quite a while to get it all set up since I just randomly walked in but appreciated they were able to accommodate still. Drive was great, conversation was super casual no pressure to sign anything at all. He told me it's super simple and I can just go online to do most of it. Honestly I thought LONG AND HARD for 1 night and decided that was the car. Throughout the next week Zack set everything up even asked when I wanted to pick up, and I named a date and he immediately said all good we'll get it ready. Submitted my trade in info online and got everything set up. Came to pick it up, took a minute to meet with the finance department but all good I had time and needed time to clean out my old car anyway. Then bam drove off with it. I'm writing this review with mixed feelings. The premise for this dealership was great - easy and transparent pricing, friendly sales associates. But if you are not in the area and cannot check out the car on your own, I would recommend caution and better off finding a different dealer. List of issues: - communication. No sense of urgency and timely follow ups once the payment is processed (paid cash in full) - timeline for the delivery was unclear - I had to follow up and call them every day to get some sort of update. Eventually I learned that there was a small damage to the car that needed fixing but why couldn't they share it so I could make plans around my trade in and daily transport? - warranty is not being honored. Noticed some bits and pieces that needed fixing after the vehicle was delivered. Mind you I did my due diligence and asked the sales rep for a video walkthrough. Was reassured the vehicle was perfectly fine. Well, it was not. There's a 90 day warranty - and I emailed them to cover the touch up and bumper replacement now 5 times in the past 2 weeks without any feedback or replies. Let me first list the nice thing about this place - you can see lots of different brand/model EVs under one roof. Other than that, it is complete amateur hour here. - I showed up to the warehouse/office for a test drive and they couldn't make it happen. Turn a prospective customer away because you can't manage keys, ouch. - what followed was a volley of texts and emails from at least three different individuals, each claiming to be the lead - eventually I spoke to one person over the phone who assured me she was the lead for my account. She not only sounded utterly bored but struggled to make conversation. If car salespeople cannot make conversation then we are done for as a species, lol. - when I asked about trade-in, she promptly said, that's a different department! - I was also told all prices are fixed, decided by AI - fair enough, if that's how they want to do business - but then why do I have to deal with humans who can't seem to get their act together. - another individual called the next day and I told them I am not interested anymore but undeterred, one person kept emailing me including asking questions like - are my emails reaching you? - there's plenty of other chaotic things that I skipped on. But hey, they just got $100M in Series A funding so looks like they are doing really well. read more

Was super excited to reserve an EV9 that was the exact spec I have been looking for. Great website to use and was painless to make the reservation. One of their reps texted me to coordinate my trade in, and after sending some pics we agreed to their offer, and that I'd pay cash for the difference. Their rep said "I should have all I need for the moment. I'll reach back out hey end of day. Then later that day I get a text saying my reservation lapsed, and they'd reach back out if the car became available. Why take reservations if you're going to make someone jump through hoops, agree to a trade, then cancel it on them with no warning. Lame! read more

I purchased a preowned EV from Ever Cars two weeks ago. Our sales rep Deitria Levine went out of her way to help us find the right car for us. I'm very happy with the car. They also took my old car as a trade in, so I arrived in one car and drove away in another. Very convenient. The building is a pleasant place to spend time, which is good because we were there for over five hours. The whole process, including paperwork, was quite slow and a bit disorganized. It was as if the many people working there were not quite communicating with each other efficiently. It was also not very easy to test drive cars due to massive traffic in that area. Overall though, I am happy with our experience at Ever Cars. I support their mission to get more people into preowned EVs. read more

If you're shopping for an EV and deliberating your ideal range, charging port, battery architecture, software and regenerative braking settings... there's people here that speak that language. EVs are exciting in their own right, and it's a big deal for me to figure it all out. I was assured I could basically choose any car on the site to test drive and it was easy. I think the sticker prices are fair and I was also informed on the financing process which is where Ever makes money referring to their network of lenders. NEVER EVER! To update my review: EVER is committing FRAUD! My husband and I bought a car from them ONE MONTH AGO, on May 28, and NEVER RECEIVED THE CAR. They said it was broken, and they were fixing it, then said it was never fixed and still sits in their lot. So we canceled the sale, but they did not repay the bank the funds for our loan. EVER still has the loan in their account. Janet has said she told accounting to "Flat Cancel" the loan, and our bank has said that EVER still has the funds in EVER's accounts--and that EVER NEEDS TO ISSUE A REFUND CHECK TO THE BANK to cancel the loan. We have told Janet and Trevor that they need to actually repay the bank,; to send them a check, but this has not happened. COME ON , EVER, PAY US BACK FOR THE CAR YOU NEVER GAVE US! read more

Buying the car was easy. They did want my money before the test drive and me looking at it. But they let me do both before they took my money. Also I wanted to give you guys some feedback. What you guys should do is add pictures of damage on the vehicle. I drove 3 hours and I didnt expect the car to be perfect. But it looks like the previous owner let there dog in the front seat and they did some damage you wouldnt except a car to have. But adding theses photos would help the buyer decide for themselves if they want to buy the car. Especially those that would like it shipped. But adding photos like these would go along way. I also didn't see the damage till I got home. 3 Hours away. Had to take the day off work to pick up. So I couldn't just return it. And also there's a $500 return fee. New door panel is almost $2k. The location is not the best as there is very limited parking. Pricing is fair (but not good) and you definitely need to make an appointment. They have a nice selection of cars, but think they cater more to people who are really not sure what they want and are happy enough to pay a premium to have a salesperson walk them through the options. I'm the kind of person who does a lot of research upfront so I didn't really need/appreciate the salespeople ...I just wanted to drive a couple of cars to confirm my choice. We hit a few significant roadblocks with maintenance issues on the car and complications with the paperwork, which was stressful given our situation. However, what really sets Ever apart is how they handle things when they don't go perfectly. The matter was escalated to Isaiah, the VP, who was incredibly responsive, empathetic to our situation, and stepped up to ensure our trade-in window could be extended while we sorted it out. He was waiting right at the door for us when we arrived and had identified two alternative cars that matched our exact criteria. *Updated* - Received an outreach call from Ever with an apology over the mixup and poor handling of it, and appreciate their sincerity and transparency and they are doing their best to make things right. Despite my initial disappointment, I'm impressed with their customer service and follow up. A little over a year ago I bought my Ioniq 5 through Ever and was pretty happy with the experience overall. The car was as described and the buying and pickup process went smoothly, etc. My first experience was positive enough that I attempted to buy another car through Ever recently. Unfortunately, this time it wasn't such a great experience - the vehicle I reserved was advertised as having two packages/options that I'm looking for (towing package and a premium interior package). When they called to process my reservation, I asked to confirm that the car actually had these packages, since I didn't see them listed on the window sticker. They got back to me to let me know that the car did NOT have those packages, and that they have removed it from the description, but they didn't adjust the price accordingly. After requesting, they offered to reduce the price by $200, which is not much considering the price of those two options would be upwards of $3500. I proceeded to make a very reasonable offer, consistent with the pricing of another model they have on their own website that is similarly equipped, and they did not even bother to counter offer and instead told me 'sorry there's nothing we can do'. read more

These guys are amateur hour. While they market themselves similar to CarMax or Cavana where purchasing process is simple, they fall apart when you have any kind of question or issue. Questions either left unanswered or took forever to get to the right person for an answer that may or may not be correct. During the purchasing process, my order was sent to a different person/department along the way. After making a reservation to a vehicle I wanted, I filled out some information as asked. I immediately got a couple different emails from different people that they will reach out soon. I got nothing and 24 hours later the reservation was cancelled without any explanation. I immediately made another reservation and after going through some hoops, I finally got a hold of someone to explain the situation. They finally were able to tell me that they were missing some co-signer's information. Continued along with the purchase process, when I had questions about the warranty, the battery health report, etc, the question gets punted to the next person handling my order and were answered in ways like a sneaky sales person trying to brush over the details. On the pick up day, the person we met up at Ever's office was immediately ready to collect the money and sign the paper even though I clearly said I wanted a test drive first when I made the appointment, which seemed pretty unprofessional. During the test drive, I noticed the service light was on. So I tried to get a clearer answer of how their warranty process works. The sales person simply told me that their cars are dealership certified so I can easily take it to any dealer for services that covered by bumper to bumper warranty without any cost within the warranty period. I half believed him even though that sounded too good to be true. I took the car home and later took it to the dealership. The light went away when I arrived so nothing had to be done. Later on, after the return period was passed, I noticed the car sometimes has issues with Android Auto/Car Play. Getting the infotainment software updated seems to be able to mitigate the problem based on owners reports online. That's when I finally found out Ever would only reimburse me if the dealership diagnostic can pinpoint the problem is related to the software. Otherwise the cost to update the software would be out of my pocket. A very different reality than the answers I got along the way. Also, I've never received the battery health report that they promised would be sent to me when I asked for them multiple times. (I tested the real life performance as much as I could during the 7 days return period so I wouldn't regret it later. But it still would have been nice to see the actual report.) While nothing catastrophic is happening with the car I purchased so far, I think the other bigger players are more trustworthy. read more

What an experience. They had a huge inventory of all the EVs you can imagine, all side by side for you to compare and test drive. I went in multiple times and had received excellent service from Thomas, if you can get an appointment with him. They don't work on commission so they are not pushy, only trying to be helpful. The sales/transaction process was very fast as well. Took about 30 min after i made my decision to do all of the paperwork and take the car home. We bought a 2022 Volvo from Ever Cars on Wednesday -- that transaction went fine, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star across the board. On that same Wednesday I test drove and reserved a 2023 MINI Cooper SE, trading in a 2021 Tesla Model Y. I had already sent detailed trade-in photos -- 4 exterior, 4 interior, VIN, mileage -- on Tuesday. By late that week, the finance team had called, walked us through all the paperwork, and I'd signed the financing documents. Vehicle swap was scheduled for Saturday at 1:00pm. I told them explicitly we needed to be in and out -- my wife had work and we had our 3-year-old with us. We arrived on time. We then sat in the showroom for over 30 minutes, completely unacknowledged. Every employee on the floor clearly knew what was going on; nobody said a word to us. I finally stood up and asked. A man who introduced himself as a co-founder, Lasse-Mathias Nyberg, informed us that our Tesla was being re-appraised because of scuffed wheels -- a detail fully visible in the photos they had sat on for four days. The revised offer came in $1,600 below the $25,500 already agreed to, and he suggested we had "lied" on the trade-in intake. The photos say otherwise. What Ever Cars actually delivered: Four days of submitted photos ignored until the literal moment of pickup Financing signed, then the deal re-opened on pickup day over a $1,600 adjustment they could have raised any time that week Over an hour of our time wasted with a toddler in a dealership waiting room A second hard credit pull without my authorization, two days after the first one for this same deal Zero continuity between staff -- every handoff starts from scratch, with no memory of what the previous person agreed to No apology, no attempt to salvage anything, no call from management After I walked, a single text: "released the vehicle you reserved" If you're considering Ever Cars: understand that a signed agreement here means nothing until the keys are in your hand. I should have read these reviews first. Note to self, don't buy a car online. Other online dealers note damage to their vehicles so you know what you're getting. Not Ever. Car looked clean in the pictures and the salesperson assured it was "clean". When I got the vehicle, one panel was severely over buffed making it stand out from the rest of the paint. The right front door had a huge, terribly noticeable paint repair, spanning 8 inches. A 5 year old with a paint brush could have done a better job. When I reached out to ever, they said tough luck since the listing photos don't show damage and stopped replying. I understand buying used cars, but identify damage in the listing so we know what we are getting. Secondly, I told the salesman over the phone I could not physically take possession of the vehicle for another week since I was out of state. He said no problem and would postpone shipping. Next thing you know, the delivery driver is blowing up my phone saying he's 30 minutes away. I was out of state and could not take delivery. Driver was pissed off and dropped the vehicle anyway after a lot of back and forth. read more

I bought a car at Ever on a Saturday night. It's the real deal, with a lot of cars and a lot of people. They sold two other cars in the few hours I was there. Some pros: 1. The car was in good shape and well priced. 2. You can see how long the cars have been on the lot and how the price has changed. 3. Carfax sometimes reports two owners when there's only one that has moved between states. They can explain this. 4. They were not pushy about extended warranty stuff. 5. They threw in a tire pump at no cost. Some cons: 1. They told me two hours before going that my car had been sold but I could look at others. I told them that was super inconvenient and wondered if it was bait and switch. They checked and suddenly the car was available again. Coincidence? I don't know. 2. They have limited ways of taking payment. They will take ACH but only from limited institutions (not mine). They will take a wire, but won't let you take home the vehicle that day. And they will take a check, but need to do a credit check first, which requires you to unfreeze credit, etc. They should be clearer up front about how to prepare to pay. 3. They aren't up front that the 7-day return period has a $500 fee. There is a 90-day warranty for actual problems with the car, but you can't just change your mind for free. I would go here again -- they have a lot of cars and know something about them. But you still have to be careful with inspecting etc. read more
