And she actually said during the class that she was trying something new and doesn't usually do country and probably wouldn't again. But! It was surprisingly good. The studio was also very clean. It is one of the studios that if you don't have the upgraded-studio type of membership that some locations have, you have to pay the $10 extra fee. They had a small selection of things like spray, deodorant, tampons, makeup remover cotton pads, the standard shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the shower... Speaking of the shower, it was such an amazing shower. Their water pressure is incredible and felt so good after the workout. The studio itself felt really spacious. They have 16 stations (whereas my home studio has 14) and it seemed like I had plenty of room on the floor, and there was a little more space between the rollers, then at my home studio, which was really nice.

I came in today because my freeze is about to expire and I came in to see if she could push the payment back from the 10th and the man behind the counter around 9:30 stated she no longer works there. :( sorry to hear she is not there and told me to write my phone number down for the new manager to contact me. I just wanted to leave the review for Regina and the trainer she had keep checking to make sure I was okay. I stopped coming for a while to during one of my workouts my knee went out of place and I had to leave halfway through.

I have to say out of all the gyms I've been to: FBBC, UFC, Planet Fitness, The Camp, and many other local family owned gyms, Concord fitness boot camp aka Fit Body Boot Camp concord has been the absolute best! I lost weight but the change was not just in appearance. I actually felt stronger and could notice the difference in my strength. My energy and endurance was like my teen days. The crazy part is appearance wise this gym has been the least impressive. But Virgil makes the small space functional and you really don't need much more than this. When I showed up for my first trial the location made me hesitant. Virgil's customer service was great and he made me feel welcomed. The other members were friendly and there were all ages and body types. I stayed and loved it. Everyone was extremely helpful and motivating. They all push you to finish your reps, to keep moving and not quit, and if you struggle they make you feel okay with modifying while teaching you ways to work on it until you can one day do what you're struggling with. It was hard but it seemed like within days my body learned how to handle doing sit ups and push ups. Another major part is nutrition. Virgil helped me with a shopping list and meal ideas. He is respectful but also doesn't sugar coat. With each weigh in he reminded me what I needed to do to stay on track. I also learned how to count calories. If I still lived in the area I would see about joining again. If I didn't give it 5 stars it is solely because of the cost. When I went it cost around by $300/month. Is it worth it? Yes. With reassurance from the owner (whose phone number was on Google), it was indeed open for business, I was excited to get moving for my Friday workout. I was introduced to the owner and other people who showed up for the class and I could tell they were regulars. The place looked pretty legit as you know I love legit gyms :-) I was asked to disinfect the bottom of my shoes as street shoes aren't allowed on the floor, since we laid on them for floor workouts. That made me feel better because I ain't tryna rest my head on a floor where people before me don't know where to walk sometimes and you don't know where they come from ahem, SF CITY STREETS!!! This was my first Bootcamp class in a long while so I was pretty thankful that Virgil (owner and trainer) allowed me to modify my workouts. It was a damn good sweat and I had great energy the rest of the day.

Parking lot gridlock is a feature, not a bug. In addition to the difficulty accessing the facility, don't expect to have TVs operate property on cardio equipment. For years the TV channels are hit and miss. ABC and several other channels have no signal frequently and now CNN is unavailable. Faux management is a no show when it comes to providing membership with even the most fundamental amenities. Their disinterest is evident daily.

Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Of course it's great gym staff uses the gym so they can identify problems with equipment etc. The massage therapist here are amazing. Johnny does a great job of identifying issues and helping them. I do wish they wouldn't play the music so loud. It's often blaring. Almost everyone listens to their own music with ear pods or whatever. The music the gym plays can often be so loud I can't hear my own music directly in my ears. Using noise cancellation at a gym can be dangerous as you want to be aware of your surroundings.

For most of my life, I was obese and I had resigned from ever dieting again. One mention of the word "diet" and it made me want to eat. Working out didn't last long either -- I wouldn't see results and then I would throw in the towel. Or I would lose weight, only to gain it back. After the first week, however, I felt like I was given something versus having something taken away. I was empowered. I felt like someone was actually listening to me and my body type. Randy understands it isn't a "one size fits all", but a more customized and individualized solution. He gave me parameters on how many calories and macronutrients to eat, based on my body composition... and do I dare say it has been easy??! I'm not hungry and actually eat less than I am allowed, and I don't feel deprived. Furthermore, in our supersized country, I feel I am finally learning moderation. Training wise, I'm able to do things I've never fathomed before. I have had trainers in the past, but I would grow bored and feel like I'm doing the same dreadful exercise with little results. Randy knows your strengths and weaknesses. He knows how to keep it exciting. He doesn't believe you should have to live in misery, but at same time he will find a way for you to reach your goal, enjoyably. That doesn't mean there isn't hard work -- it's all hard work.
