This is a follow up to my recent review I posted few days ago. I got a call from Paul there told me that he understand that I have a repeated problem that they should be responsible for fixing it. I dropped it off this morning, and Paul has dug through all the records of my car. It turned out that they have two databases -- one older and one newer. Apparently my 2011 record was in the old database in which they recorded a leak and identified the fix; I might have been a cheapskate who decided to come back to fix it in 2012. Their record show I came back in 2013 in the new database. Whoever did my van in 2013 didn't look up my old record in the old database. Anyhow, they fixed it with no charge. I think there isn't anything better they could have done. So I am a happy customer again. I will come back to give them 5 stars if it is indeed fixed -- I need a hot day to find out. read more

Quite possibly one of the best experiences I've had for auto repair. The service these guys provide is top notch. You absolutely get what you paid for (and I mean this in a good way). They explain their checkup analysis, present you with options, will do minor checkups right in front of you, and give you the benefit of "analysis-Call the Customer to discuss the repairs needed- if you say Yes, THEN repair". I've had nightmare stories with many garages that just do the repair and give you a bill. Evergreen is kind enough to check the issue and call you with the exact cost before moving forward. I've had some horrendous service from other garages in New York and Washington, but these folks give you excellent automobile service and repairs, great customer communication, and quality work. I've never had to go back to make sure a repair was done right at this garage. When they say they fixed it...they did. No questions asked. As far as pricing, they are pretty fair. Not extremely cheap, but far from extremely pricey. I'd highly recommend this garage to any one of my friends or family. read more

I've been to Evergreen twice for minor repairs and was treated well both times. The prices are fair and customer service is excellent. I've been to many other shops where customer service was negligent, but Evergreen gets it. If you treat your customers well and do good work, you develop their trust and they are customers for life. I am very happy to write that I had the opportunity to speak and work with Jeff (the owner) in regards to all the issues with my truck and previous experiences. Jeff and I had multiple conversations through out the entire process of my truck being brought back (the day that we spoke) in to the shop and the work being completed. He also did offer to continue the warranty restarting the day they completed my truck. I realize as a small business owner myself that Jeff very much cares about his reputation and his name so it was very nice to see a business owner remedy a bad situation and turn it into such a positive experience. Because of his actions I have decided to start going back to Evergreen for all my automotive needs and he promised me if any other issues arose to contact him directly about them. Again thank you so much to Jeff and Mike for the fixing everything and I look forward to the time we get to work with one another again. And one more thing after reading a specific comment left by another Yelp user stating that these guys steal cash I can 100% vouch they do not. I left a large sum of money in my truck and not a measly $60 with other valuables in my truck and not one piece of it was touched or taken. Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am moving to California and time was running out for me to get my car issues resolved before I left town. I called E.A. because it was in my vicinity and advertised that they worked on Suburus. They were very booked for the week but suggested I drop my car off so as soon as a cancellation occured they could get to work on it right away (this was in addition to an appointment that I made for Wednesday). As it turned out they were able to get to my car before Wednesday and so I was able to pick it up days before I would have had to otherwise. I received a AAA discount and Phil even volunteered some great tips on finding a new mechanic when I arrive in California. The waiting area is very welcoming with vintage toys, etc. to view. That was pretty cool. If I weren't moving I'd stick with this mechanic shop. read more

This place was amazing. Phil and his team did an excellent job that went above and beyond my expectations. To be fair, I brought in a fairly messy 01 Accord for an interior detail. In one day, they finished working on the car. When I came in to see the work, I was shocked. My car had never looked cleaner! In addition, Phil was a pleasure to talk to as he consistently called me to chat about the progress/status of my vehicle, keeping me informed throughout every step of the process. Avoid the body shop work! When I arrived for my scheduled estimate appt for a 2016 mercedes s550 for a moderate scratch, I had to wait about 15 min before someone came out for my appt. When arriving for appt a few days later they didn't have my apt on the books. But they took it anyways. They said my car would be done on a certain day and a week later I didn't hear from them. When I called they said guy was too busy to let me know when the car would be done. He didn't call me, and when I called back they said it was closed for the weekend. It was done about four days later than expected and the work was awful! The scratch is gone but the whole door needs rework. We took it to two different shops and they estimated about 4-500 work would need to be done to fix it. They acknowledged the problem but wouldn't help fix it. We would be out a car for another week, for this repair. This shop does a huge volume and is unwilling to let us get it fixed elsewhere and assist in the cost. We had done business before with them and will NEVER again. We were warned there were no good body shops in snohomish county and yep it's been confirmed. The owner should recognize we wouldn't want to have to be inconvenienced with having it there for another week of repairs when it was such a bad job and poor service from start to finish. Will be taking car to northwest auto salon and pay out of pocket to fix their job. The shop seems over scheduled and I'm shocked they wouldn't care enough to reimburse us for the re-repair work. read more

I have been a customer for this place in the past. I usually have great service. But just recently, I had called made an appointment to have my car worked on and set a day and time. I came in at the required time, and signed papers to have the work done. After a half hour of waiting, the clerk comes up to me, and said,"oh, I had just spoke to the tech and he said, he didn't know how to work the machine." I'm trying to see if anyone down in the shop could do this and said, "No one is available." So, he then said, I won't be able to service your car. This is unexceptable as a company, after setting a date and time for the customer to come in, and not be able to accommodate them. I will no longer use this company. After 14 yrs. of using them. Plus they charge too much for work I can get at somewhere else, for a lot less and they have good mechanics. read more

They do amazing work here, but never seem to do it in a timely manner or keep in contact about what is going on. I wouldnt mind them keeping my car for a long time- but with no call or update, its extremely inconvenient. I shouldnt have to call them when they estimate 3-4 days- and we are going on 8. read more

Someone that's working in this shop is indeed a thief. my father's Swiss Army knife is missing from the middle console. I do know for a fact that before my father gave them the keys to my car, I witnessed him putting the red Swiss Army knife in there and then covering it with my scarf. This knife is pretty bulky to be carrying around without it's case. After a two-hour oil change, we got the keys and drove home. He looked in there and noticed that things have been moved around and that the knife along with my $2 was missing. There was no point in going back because they sure would deny it. This shop is very friendly and does good work, but is pretty expensive. They charge ~$75 to do a diagnostic. I paid this even though it was pretty clear that it was a problem with the muffler. They got a replacement from the manufactuer, which it can be significantly cheaper to order one online. Between the diagnostic, parts, and labor, the total cost (minus a AAA discount was) just over $450. Other places could easily charge you half of that price. I have no complaints with the quality of service. And they are very timely. They were able to order a new muffler and installed it the same day I dropped it off. read more

I visited Evergreen Autoworks on 10/29/2010 for a Service Engine Soon Diagnosis. My van was misfiring and the SES light was showing a p0300 generic misfire code. This is where Evergreen earns it's 5 stars. On 10/25/2010 I had visited the closest shop to my house Goodyear Auto Service Center on Bothell Everett Highway to diagnose the same problem. GoodYear's diagnosis: New Fuel Injector Assembly needed. Parts and Labor $983.99 After receiving GoodYears diagnosis, I purchased a OBD II scanner myself and started my own diagnosis. From all my research and conversations with others the problem pointed to a Distributor issue. Without telling Evergreen any of the aforementioned story except telling them the engine was misfiring, the SES light was on, and the code was a p0300, Evergreen performed there diagnosis and informed me I needed a new distributor cap and rotor. After, hearing back from Evergreen I fessed up and told them the story about GoodYear. Furthermore, I told them I think I will replace the cap and rotor myself. The gentlemen from Evergreen, Bill stated that, "If you can do it yourself I urge you to." Long story short, for $76 (new AC/Delco cap and rotor) I repaired the problem myself. I would of had them countue working on my car. I would of been a customer that forked out $$$$. I need my shocks changed my struds changed my breaks flushed etcetera.... They STEAL. These 'men' were going to get 4 stars from me till i got my car back. Mr.FatBrent was the 'man' that helped me. I HID $60 in my glove box in a book. When i got my car back i noticed that i was missing $40. They had no reason to go into my glove box. Mr.FatBrent says his employees would never steal he knows his workers. Lol bs dude you sit at a desk while your guys are working on car. You dont supervise them during the whole shift. They messed up big time. read more

I have spent quite a large sum of money between 4 vehicles over a 1month period, prepping them for sale, yet when I call in for an A/C issue, have them say bring it in, we'll drive with you so we can hear it, I do that, in my personal vehicle,. They can't seem to find 10mins to go with me, drive the vehicle to hear the noise in the AC to repair it, sending me on my way, driving this rig now, knowing there is an AC motor or belt issue potentially going to break at any time, but that's OK with them. Money works at other shops as well. So much for a good working relationship. read more

This is a great auto body & mechanical shop located just south of Mill Creek on Bothell-Everett Hwy. They have been here forever and a day, and the customer service is fantastic. I went in recently to get some body work done for the first time in 6 years, and when I walked in the man at the counter said "Hi Jim"....that's pretty rare these days. The lobby of the shop is clean and full of WW2 era memorabilia, service awards, free popcorn, espresso & bottled water, and they even have an Enterprise car rental counter for your convenience. They recently added a lube center to complement their full service body and mechanical shops. This is a great and honest mechanic, that pays attention to it's clients needs and suggestions. read more

We have been taking our cars to Evergreen for a number of years...they have always been honest and reliable. Not always the cheapest, but they use better quality parts and in the end, it's definitely worth going there. I have had sort of a hit-and-miss relationship with Evergreen over the past 17 years, but through staff changes and over time, they are winning my praise and gratitude. Not only did they squeeze me in very late on July 2nd (I had to be towed there after they closed, and they weren't sure they'd get to my car until after the holiday weekend), they called me back the next morning with a diagnosis and a repair and were able to get my car back to me before the 3-day weekend. Which is phenomenal in my book since I only have one car and 3 people in my household to buzz around! Did I mention I didn't have to rent a car while mine was there? Okay, that was due to very generous friends, but my car was there less than 24 hours, so I'm glad I didn't go through the hassle of renting for such a short time! Today, though, was less of an emergency, yet another delightful outcome. My (very old) car had a burned out running lamp. I know nothing about cars other than how to drive them, put gas in them, and use the cup holders, so I stopped in at Evergreen to see what they would charge me to replace the bulb. Phil took over, grabbed my keys, and (no kidding) in less than 10 minutes was back with my car and its new bulb. I didn't even have time to get myself some popcorn! I asked him what I owed him for such great service and he said just a good referral. OMG, really? I can totally do that! So, as promised, here is a great referral for Phil and all his peeps at Evergreen Autoworks. A few years ago I didn't think I could give them such a beaming review, but they have truly stepped up their level of service and care and I am impressed. read more

I have had to use evergreen twice now and have been impressed both times. Recently over Christmas, I had some small damage repaired on my wife's Tahoe. Manny was excellent to work with. Between him and the front desk they made handling the insurance company and the repair itself in effortless process. Manny kept me informed as to the process and was upfront and honest in regards to the timeline and the level of work that he wanted to dedicate to the repair. A few years back I took a later year Chevrolet truck with start up and idle issues. Turned into a train wreck and the bill started to sky rocket. I had to tell them to stop the bill was now more expensive then the cost of the vehicle. First place I have ever taken a car in for repair and they tried to get the bill higher then the value of the vehicle. If I didn't know any better they were padding the bill but regardless they should have known better! do not take your car here! read more

I went here because they are local and got decent reviews online. My car had a noise that I wanted to get checked out. I was very specific about the sound and had a good idea of where it was coming from. I was very flexible and told them they could hold on to the vehicle as long as they needed to determine the cause of the sound. The next week I was told they could not hear the noise I was referring to and that I could pick my car up because there was nothing they could do about it. At this point, I was obviously disappointed that they could not hear anything, which my girlfriend, myself, and random passersby could notice. I was also disappointed that they didn't take me up on my offer to ride along and point the noise out to them. Anyways, I went to pick my car up before a holiday weekend and was surprised at the absurd price they charged me to drive my car around and not do any work on it. The mechanic that "worked" on my car wasn't there (of course), so I wasn't able to talk to him. At this point, I was just off work and they were closing shop themselves, so I paid the ridiculous price and got my keys back (They also charged me to check my engine light code which other mechanics do for free; and proposed installing new parts which I declined and ended up not needing). I was also told they would call me to go over the charges once the they talked to the mechanic. I never did get that call from them. After all of this, the funny thing is, the next week I figured out the source of the noise myself, which was exactly where I told them I thought it was coming from. I then fixed the problem with a little help from my friends and by using videos and articles I found online. It also cost me a fraction of what these ding dongs charged to dilly daddle around. read more

We are relocating to this beautiful state from Texas in the Bothell area. Happened upon this great place while renting a van to run an errand. Fantastic service provided by Brett in customer service and mechanic, Joshua. I left my car for a simple oil change, and Brett went over and beyond. The brake light had been coming on for some time, and I thought it was an issue with the wiring. They discovered that the brake fluid was low, so Brett said that he had them top it off, which I thought was very nice. I left the shop, and received a call a few minutes later to say that they hadn't done it, after all, but if I was in the area, to please come back. I did, and they filled up the break fluid. Brett, nor Joshua needed to do that since I had already paid and left, but their actions showed great commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. read more

5 giant stars for Evergreen Autoworks in Bothell! This past weekend, while taking my grandsons to a birthday party at Elevated Sportz, the radiator in my Honda CR-V gave it up - big time. A quick check on my phone for the nearest auto repair found Evergreen Autoworks, just down the block. I got immediate and sympathetic assistance, they got my car into their work schedule for that afternoon, AND offered me a loaner vehicle. That kind of customer service and warm human approach is worth everything! I'm very happy with the work that was done, and my car has many more happy miles on it now. Great reliable service. Expensive yes but they do it right the first time

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! We became acquainted with EAW when they came by the apartments where we lived many years ago selling oil change packages. I bought one, and we thought they were super nice and as far as we knew, did a good job changing the oil. Fast forward a few years-- my check engine light was on, and I failed emissions. I went there bc I thought it was the only auto shop we had ever had any experience with here in Washington state. So I told them I didn't want to spend more than the $150 required to diagnose the problem (you have to prove to the emissions place that you put forth the effort to rectify the problem, but you were not required to spend more than $150). Well, while trying to figure out whatever the problem was that was causing the check engine light to come on, they claimed that some part they were removing just "crumbled" in their hands, and that they had to replace it...so the bill came out to $382! But here's the worst part...I got about 2 miles down the road, and the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I called them and of course they said to bring it right back and they would fix it...well, I never went back. SO- fast forward another 3 years or so and we had another vehicle having engine problema, so we decided to try them one more time. LAST TIME WE WILL EVER GO THERE-- They charged us $900 to tell us the engine had a catastrophic failure, due to a dropped valve or something. So that was all LABOR-- $900 IN LABOR CHARGES, just to tell us what was wrong. BUT IT GETS EVEN WORSE. While they were waiting for us to arrange to have the car towed home (oh yeah, they wanted $8000 to put in a new engine...whutttt???!) , somehow, the jeep got left in neutral while the door was open, and it rolled...and the door got ripped off on a column or something...so they had to replace it. So I called about a week later, and they hadn't even started on it. We get the vehicle hone eventually, and we realize that the door won't stay open that they replaced without holding it open with your foot, and the side view mirror was loose. Wow. These stories probably sound made up, but I assure you they weren't. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND EVERGREEN AUTO WORKS to anyone. read more
