I came in this morning for the first time to get some donuts for breakfast. I was surprised that they had Sugar Donut Holes! :D I've never seen them anywhere else before. I ordered half a dozen and they were only a dollar. :) They were not too sweet. Which is great because I feel a lot of donut shops make donuts super sweet, but they seemed a little hard. :/ other than that I have no other complaints. I'll definitely come back again next time to buy more. Maybe today was an off day. The shop is small and is clean so thumbs up for that too. :) read more

After they moved over a couple stores, the place looks a whole lot better. The interior is all buffed up with new seating and a Television set. The staff or so nice too! The donuts are great quality, but I mean how much variation can you get for a morning donut spot. read more

2.5 Stars I have had better donuts. The donuts tasted all right. Nothing special to me. I shared a chocolate and sugar donut with my boyfriend. It is soft, which is what I'm always looking for in a donut...but there's something missing in the taste. It could be that they use oils that don't have trans fat, which is good. But I believe that if you're gonna eat a donut or any unhealthy food, you should just treat yourself with the really good tasting stuff and eat it once in a blue moon. From what I remember, the two donuts cost me $1.40. Most likely, I won't be coming back. I prefer the donuts from Daily Donuts. Though I love donuts, I don't eat them often. If you come early morning, you could catch a conversation with some of the regulars about the local sports teams (Go Sharks!) or about current events going on. this place is a little bit small but clean, the couple owners r very nice and friendly. I have never thought they are Cambodian, haha. I dont have sweet tooth, so their donuts are quite good as they are not super sweet. Plus the filling inside each donut is huge, and it comes with a reasonable price. Thump up! Unlike other milk teas shops, I can smell the tea leaf and they dont put in too much sugar and cream. Nice! I love that. Jasmine green tea milk tea and Thai tea are definitely my favorite there. They also have a lot of awesome promotions on drinks! Only one downside is that they make too little bakeries. If you want to have a variety choices of sweets, you need to come early. Pass noon, they won't make anymore. And I only can go there in afternoon and not many things left. Wish they have more customers so they will bake more donuts. Overall this place is one of my favorite shops. If it's not very far from my house, I would have come there often. read more

To be honest, the donuts here aren't anything fabulous at all. They're not even cute and fluffy looking. Ever since I've moved into the evergreen area I haven't been able to find a near by donut store so I've been coming to them pretty often for my office-meeting box of donuts. What is really really good though is their strawberry cream cheese danish. It's probably the best I've ever had. Those guys are a rarity so make sure get it any chance it's available! I've always thought the ones at the Cosentino's bakery was good but in the morning while it's still warm and fresh, wow I can't put that guy down. If you're looking for donuts though, yeah I guess this is an okay place to go. read more

HAIR! There was HAIR in two donuts!!! I asked nicely for a credit of $6.25 for the donuts I bought. They asked where the other 4 donuts and holes were. I said that we had eaten them already. These two were the last ones that we had gotten to and they happen to have hair in them! The lady said "no" to my full-credit request b/c she said, "How do we know there was hair in them?!" I couldn't believe her! I then said that my kids had already eaten them and for all I know, there's hair in their bellies. I asked the couple to put themselves in my place - would they appreciate having their kids possibly eat hair through their food??? They didn't care! I then mentioned that I wouldn't come back to support their business, and I would tell my friends, family and neighbors NOT to buy their donuts anymore, the lady said, "Go ahead. Tell them that!" The man (husband?) told her to stop yelling at me, "No more! No more!" I left with $1.50 credit and with NO apology. I turned back into the store, and told them in a calm manner, "You know, you never apologized for having hair in the donuts. If anything, an apology should have been the first thing out of your mouth." I left after that, NEVER to return! They lost many customers for a mere $6.25. DO NOT support this business. read more

Has been a go to donut place ever since high school. It's close by home, and I think the only donut shop in evergreen. But recently I went in for a box of goodness, the shop was disgustingly dirty. Worst part, the customers in front of us were done picking their donuts, when they noticed a cockroach was hanging from the box. The customers walked out, so did I. I will never be going back to this donut shop. Management needs to make major changes. read more

In town for business and happened across this little shop. The first thing that struck me was the customers were very friendly. They informed me that the operator was out and would be back shortly. It gave me a chance to peruse the different pastry choices. What a selection. When the operator returned, she was carrying eggs. Apparently she ran out during the morning rush. I chose a powdered lemon filled and a glazed raspberry filled along with a hot chocolate. Very good choices. The raspberry filling wasn't too sweet nor was it too gelatinous and there was a lot of it. The dough was cooked well, no doughy spots. The lemon was comparable. The hot chocolate was made with steamed milk and delicious. If I was going to be in the area again, I would be back. Lovely little shop. read more

I am going to back up Robert H's review and agree that their donuts have a weird aftertaste. I bought 3 different types of donuts and they all have a weird lingering chemical aftertaste. They were all very fluffy and soft but I'm not sure what chemicals are added to achieve the texture. Customer service wise was indifferent and borderline rude. The lady at the counter was watching a video on her phone and refused to pause the video before helping me with my order. She'll sell me donuts but on her terms. This used to be called my "secret donut shop" in middle school. I literally would not tell you where I got my donut holes from cuz what if you came and there weren't any left for me?! I love their dough and glaze. It's not too heavy, the holes are super airy but without being hallow, where some places can be cheap with the product, this place isn't. I like to load up and get the donut holes with an old fashioned glaze or a pink sprinkles. Def try this place if you live around here!! read more

I wish I read the reviews before going. There was a roach under the box of donuts as I picked up from the counter. The sales lady pretended not to see it scurry under the register. Came here as I was waiting to pick up a pizza next door. The owner working was very nice. It was about 1pm so there weren't as many donuts left. Prices are reasonable. They also serve boba tea. When I went, there was a buy 1 get one free deal on milk teas, but she honored it for any of the drinks. The place is clean and they had places to sit and lounge. Will be coming back. read more

my parents are the previous owner's u douchebag down there.. my parents were dedicated to the shop & customers & the loyal customer's miss us as well when we run into them everywhere we go in san jose!....& we miss all of you..
