Absolutely love this spot. Service is very warm and hospitable. The prices are reasonable and all of the flavors are well-made. You'll simply have to get a flight so you can try enough flavors. The place is small and there's not really anywhere to eat, but outside there's some space. I just wish this place was easier to get to without a car!

Been here a few times but finally writing a review. This is a great ice cream spot (probably my top 3 in the city). They have seasonal scoops and traditional flavors. The shop is located on a busy street with tons of other restaurants and bars. My personal favorite scoop is the peaches n cream!! It's usually only available in the summer but it's my go to. Can't really go wrong with any flavor. Last time I was here, I met the owner. Super nice guy and great personality.

Wow. I would visit this place everyday if I could. The service is warm and welcoming, options are endless and the icecream and sweet treats are amazing. Great addition to the neighborhood and I promise if you try it once you'll be back. Everything was clean and may I say again tasted wonderfully.

I was SO excited to try this location (after finding a reddit thread saying that it might be the best ice cream in DC!) This location totally lived up to the hype. The staff were amazing and kind. The flavors were fun and tasted amazing. We have already planned out our flavors for future trips! Also they have great prices! Would highly recommend!

This week I popped into "Everyday Sundae." Open since 2021, the website says "At Everyday Sundae, you'll enjoy premium ice cream, stellar customer service, and a vibrant, community-centric atmosphere." And every word is true. The owner, Charles, greeted me with a welcoming smile and a kind and fun exchange. The "Love Wall" and photos are a warm touch. The shop is small and cute with a little bit of seating. And with over 20 flavors, the ice cream I delighted in (Key Lime Pie & Bourbon Truffle) was creamy and flavorful. I can't wait to return especially for the Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, which they were out of and a repeat customer also came in looking for. Best wishes Charles. See you soon. Mmmm... This is such a fun, cute shop on Kennedy. It's small but there is some outdoor seating as well. Staff is friendly. Everyday Sundae has really interesting flavors so it was hard to choose. I went with the bourbon truffle, which was delicious. My boyfriend liked his scoop as well. We both agreed that this was high quality, excellent ice cream, and we can't wait to return.

I've visited twice over the last few months and have had friendly customer service each time. The bourbon truffle and dark chocolate flavors were delicious. My daughter enjoyed the rum raisin and waffle cone. The owner is warm and friendly, and there's a good amount of outside seating available or a few seats inside if you're into enjoying the treat indoors.

Such an adorable little ice cream shop. There's a small amount of seating inside and out front, and a bunch of flavors to pick from. They have three types of cones and they make their waffle cones in house! And the service is unbelievably helpful and friendly. My only wish would be even more vegan/dairy free options--though their sorbets are really quite good. I recommend getting a swirl of the lemon and raspberry. Overall a great neighborhood spot, I'll be coming back (especially once it warms up)! read more

So many flavors and all so good! I asked for something chocolatey, and the guy behind the counter wisely steered me to the cappuccino ice cream. It has a lovely coffee flavor with some sort of absolutely delicious chocolate fudge. It was exactly what I wanted. I also tried the birthday cake, which was also good but less different than the cappuccino. The waffle cone was great too - they clearly make them in-house since you can see the waffle presses behind the counter! They have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and eat your ice cream, although it's probably only 10-ish seats. Overall, a great experience - I already want more of that cappuccino ice cream! read more

The customer service is amazing. The owner is one of the kindest most genuine guys that you will meet in the DMV. The prices are also competitive and reasonable for different demographics. It is fair and reasonable. You can purchase double and even triple scoops of ice cream at a reasonable price. The DMV area plus inflation can make even this tasty treat expensive at other venues. There are wonderful, innovative ice cream combinations that you can choose. The ice cream flavor and texture are fresh and both rich and of high quality. The great customer service, pricing, and ice cream choices and flavors/tastes just make this an awesome gem in NW DC. The only thing I can say that can be inconvenient are the hours the business is opened can be limited especially for those coming in to taste the ice cream that do not reside in this neighborhood in DC. The parking in DC is awful, so be prepared to park in a nearby neighborhood, and that the ice cream parlour does not have much seating inside. read more

These were the nicest folks I've ever met. Cute mom and pop shop. Service was wonderful, ice cream was delicious. They also had freshly made waffle cones! I'm not sure I can give a higher review. About a month ago, as a part of my birthday ice cream crawl, a group of friends and family stopped at Everyday Sundae. As my first time there, Charles, the owner, welcomed us personally to his establishment. He offered suggestions, friendliness, and patience. There were an ABUNDANCE of appealing flavors. After a few samples, I settled on a scoop of espresso crunch and a scoop of caramel brownie. Both were full of flavor and texture! I'll likely try a different pairing next time, just to gather the whole spectrum of flavor this wonderful store can offer. In addition, there was a terrific allergy chart for all their flavors that my girlfriend (tree nut allergy) greatly appreciated. Every place should have one! Can't wait to return! read more

Just stopped in for the grand opening of this ice cream shop! Very impressed! The shop is bright, clean, and well organized. All of the staff, from the owners to the ice cream scooper to the young man running the cash register, are super friendly and inviting. There's a fantastic mix of ice cream flavors to choose from -- and there are even dairy-free sorbet options too! There is a big sign at the counter that lists every flavor and shows how it ranks against common allergens so you can easily tell what items have dairy, gluten, nuts, etc. -- which I think is a very smart and helpful thing to do! Prices are along the lines of what you'd expect for a specialty ice cream shop -- similar to a Ben & Jerry's or Coldstone Creamery. You can get your ice cream in a cup or regular cone, or upgrade to a handmade waffle cone for just $1 more. According to an article I read, the ice cream they sell comes from Hershey, PA -- which if you've ever had it there you know is aaaaaaamazing! The shop is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. They even have a little sitting area in the vestibule which -- while empty of tables during the pandemic, no doubt -- will one day make a nice little area to relax in while enjoying a refreshing treat. I am an ice cream connoisseur and did not even know this place existed. Luckily I had the good fortune to stumble upon it after visiting ANXO next door! They had a ton of unique ice cream flavors, and the owner was incredibly warm, welcoming, and full of jokes. Every flavor I tried was delicious, though I ended up committing to the blueberry cheesecake. Prices were very reasonable. We were able to find a seat outside to enjoy. A real treat of a neighborhood ice cream joint! I will be back to try more flavors. read more

This shop has the most appropriate name as I have been here every week since trying it a few weeks ago. I am not even the biggest ice cream fan, but everything about this place is amazing. They have a good selection of rotating flavors and the waffle cones are made fresh and served warm. Come on Wednesday for the most delicious and fluffy waffle sundae. Best ice cream ever! And I've had a lot in many different states. Walking in, you can smell the deliciousness and the smile of the man who scoops for you is so warm, they probably have to up the freezer temperature. I had the Banana Pudding ice cream; not too sweet, fresh fruit and creme - amazing and highly recommended. I also tried the Bourbon Truffle which did not disappoint. My friends had Oatmeal Raisin, Cookies and Creme, Caramel River flavors and we all were raving about this ice cream. If you're visiting DC, be sure to add Everyday Sundae to your itinerary. Here to maintain the streak of 5s. I've had lots of ice cream in my time, and this is one of the best if not the best ice cream parlors I've been to. Not only is the frozen treat at peak creaminess and flavor, but the individual flavors are creative and tastefully chosen. Chocolate hazelnut? Oatmeal cookie? The chocolate is truly chocolatey; it must be made with black cocoa to get that deep color. If you go out for ice cream ONCE this summer, make it Everyday Sundae. read more

This place is amazing. Delicious ice cream in a friendly local establishment with incredibly reasonable prices. The Graham Cracker flavor is positively magical, but if you're more of a traditionalist they've got you covered as well. The owner's super friendly, a local, and contributes to the community. And did I mention the ice cream is delicious? Thankfully it's close by for me, but more than worth the trip even if you don't live nearby. The Tweens (12 year olds) wanted an ice cream treat this evening, so I google 'ice cream near me'...voila! 'Everyday Sunday' appeared near the top of the search, but I was won over because it's located less than a mile from our home. When we entered the store, the kids said "this place smells amazing" and it did! At first glance the decor was minimal, but tastefully designed. The place was immaculately clean and well lit. The best part of the experience other than the ice cream, was how attentive and engaging the owner Charles was to the kids. As soon as we walked in, Charles asked them which flavors they would like to try and then made suggestions to suit their taste. We all went crazy at the deliciousness of our ice cream choices. One kid ordered GRAHAM CRACKER CRUNCH, a graham flavored ice cream with a graham cracker swirl and chocolate covered honeycombs. The other kid selected SUPERMAN, a Strawberry, Banana, and Blue Birthday Cake ice cream. I ordered BOURBON TRUFFLE, a brown butter ice cream, salted caramel and buttery bourbon truffles. I can't wait to visit Everyday Sundae again and tell my neighbors about this neighborhood gem! read more

The staff member also let me sample some of their ice cream flavors too, which was nice of them to do. The ice cream scoop wasn't stupidly expensive, so I thought it was great value. There is some indoor seating, but not much. Overall, I would definitely come back and I would tell others to come by too.

I knocked off a star because this place doesn't do flavor testing, which I deem is a must for ice cream places, especially ones with odd flavors.

The ambiance is fine, there is a small patio for warm days. The last time I was there the inside smelled like sewage, eeek!
