I have bought the cajun fish 3 times already and i am pretty happy on how consistent the food is, which is very important. I am not huge on spicy food, so at the moment, the options are kind of limited for me. I am really looking forward to them putting out new food and new options. My experience with Everytable has been fantastic! First of all, the food is delicious, healthy, and remarkably inexpensive. I've tried two dishes so far - the Pueblo Chicken Tinga and the Vietnamese Chicken Salad. Both were delicious, and even though they are less than $5, they are super filling! Second, the costumer service I have experienced there has been absolutely top-notch! During my first visit, one employee named Ricky helped me understand what Everytable has to offer, and also made some great recommendations for menu items. I saw him interact with other customers in a friendly and courteous manner as well. I really appreciate good customer service, and Everytable did not disappoint. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place. I even took a menu back to my office and promoted it to my coworkers. Service is fantastic and enthusiastic to anyone who walks in. With light open space, the food menu sits along the back wall in prepared bowls. They have kids, hot, and cold food options. The hot food you have to heat yourself with a microwave near the utensil area. They do not have a public bathroom even for customers. I had the Cobb salad. It was good, but not special. It fits the needs of a healthy "to go" lunch. The thought of having to heat your own food is ridiculous. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the quality of the food far outweighs the price and it's for a good cause. How I have yet to write a review for this place is beyond me. I absolutely love Everytable. Hesitant at first because salads don't have that great of a reputation, Everytable has changed that belief for me. Their salads are amazing and filling (which is surprising). Their jerk chicken is amazing ( I was more interested in the plantains at first but the chicken is delicious). And what makes this place even better is their stand on food justice in low resourced communities. Under $5 for a meal that is healthy and filling is extremely rare to find in LA (so rare it's probably nonexistent ). Every bale deserves every star plus some. I have been coming here on a regular basis. You can't go wrong on what entree you chose. Although I'm bias and can only speak about the salads and jerk chicken, the other plates look equally as delicious. read more

OMG so, good! I had the Cajun blackened fish and everything taste so good and was very filling, but kept me in the right calorie range. I bought 6 more things to bring home to have for lunches during the week for a grand total of 25.50. The staff was super nice and helpful and gave me a sample of a yummy muffin. I am so happy that this place opened in this neighborhood. I love living in University Park/West Adams, but even moderately healthy food options are so limited - it's frustrating. The new businesses opening up in the USC expansion areas generally offer the same fast food options like pizza and burgers, just disguised in more upscale packaging. In response to the negative reviews about stereotyping the neighborhood as a food desert - just because there is a Ralphs on Vermont doesn't eliminate the need for a wider spectrum of options to offset the plethora of unhealthy fast food places all around this area. I was pleased to read the mission statement of this company and see hat they are taking the fast food concept into a more healthy direction. In neighborhoods like downtown, West Hollywood and Westwood there are so many healthy options like Simply Salads, Tender Greens, Fresh Corn Grill, Huckleberry Place and Real Food Daily, but these are all very expensive. I happen to be someone that would like to eat organic and GMO free, but generally this way of eating is out of my price range. I find that the Ralphs on Vermont so frustrating because it's selection is so lacking in terms of healthy and organic options. I love salmon, but try not to eat the Atlantic farmed variety because it's unhealthy, but fresh Alaskan salmon is rarely stocked there. I end up going to the downtown Ralphs because they have such better meat and fish options and their healthy/organic food selection is so much better. It's sad to me that I have to travel out of my neighborhood to try and eat fresh and healthy - this is the very definition of a food desert! Back to Everytable: The food is all prepackaged and very inexpensive. Most food is under $4, which is truly amazing for a kale Caesar salad or Jamaican jerk chicken with sides. The portions are not huge, but overall it's really a great deal. The food is very healthy relative to its fast food counterparts. There are few preservatives, low(ish) sodium content, and high nutritional values. One of the reviews mentioned that the jerk chicken is terrible, but I find it tasty and comparable to many of the more expensive healthy options I mention above. All-in-all I am so happy and grateful to have Everytable in my neighborhood. I wish it tremendous success and urge people to try it. I hope that its success results in the opening of more similar types of places throughout this neighborhood. Once this happens there will be no other place in LA that can beat the West Adams area in terms of history, culture, location, people, diversity, and yes - food (of all types). read more
