Had a lovely visit at Sunday Gravy today. As soon as we stepped foot on the property we were pleasantly greeted and the service was excellent throughout. Inside dining area is nice and quaint. They also have outdoor seating in a converted parking lot. First time here, so I wanted to try a few different things. We had the "daily special"...buffalo wings. They were just okay. The sauce was fine, but the actual wing lacked flavor/seasoning. The very popular mozzarella sticks were also just okay. Another special was their pepperoni pizza made on their delicious garlic ciabatta bread. The chicken parm was also tasty. My favorite dish was actually the Caesar salad with the Calabrian chili oil dressing. Verrrrrry good! I could eat that everyday. I'm going to look into adding chicken or shrimp next time. Looks like they offer valet, but we were able to find neighborhood parking with a very short walk. Please note that they do not have ice for your drinks. However, they do have chilled water and soft drinks. Stopped by around 5:30 and this place filled up very fast. They do offer reservations on their website.

Where to start for Sunday gravy! This spot is so freaking good the quality of the food is amazing! The service and the whole vibe is great too. No spot could be perfect so just know you might have to walk a bit to get to the restaurant, so get there early if you have a reservation! Anything they're serving will be good! One thing they pay attention to is quality for sure even from the pots and pans they use! It was an amazing first experience last time I went and I can't wait to go back! Thank you Sunday Gravy! Some of the best pasta you can find in LA! If you're in the mood for a summer salad the beet & citrus salad is a must try!

We found out about this spot through a YouTube video and had to come check it out. I saw that they do reservations online so definitely check those out if you are planning ahead, but we came last minute hoping for the best! Parking is pretty tough on this busy intersection but we did get a table right away even on a Saturday at lunchtime. It's a pretty small place inside, but they do have some outdoor seating in their parking lot. Service was really great and they were so sweet to bring coloring pages and crayons to keep our little ones busy. We started off with the cheesy garlic bread with marinara. It may look normal, but it was all the carby cheesy goodness you would want. It was almost like having a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup... So comforting! Then we shared the pasta a limone and the garlic butter shrimp. The sauce on the pasta was amazing, perfect to dip your garlic shrimp in! The pasta doesn't have any protein in it if you order it by itself, hence our side of shrimp, but I didn't feel like I needed it. The handmade pasta is well cooked. It seems like a small portion, but because it's so rich, it's quite filling. Would definitely recommend the pasta and the cheese sticks if you come here!

This place has been recommended to me a few times and I finally decided to make the 1 hour drive to see what the hype was all about. Limited parking on their lot but there is plenty of street parking. Service was excellent, I never had an empty glass of water and my food was ready within a couple of minutes of ordering. I tried the wings that were on special, I'm normally not a huge buffalo wings fan but these were so good paired with their ranch! I ordered two types of pastas: the limone pasta and the braised beef pasta. The limone pasta reminded me a lot of the Jon & Vinny's pasta but even better for the price. The braised beef pasta was delicious paired with the cheesy garlic bread. Super saucey which I love. Cute indoor seating is available and I believe they also offer outdoor seating when it's busier. I would definitely make the drive again to try some new pastas.

One of the best italian spots in LA. It's small and quaint in the inside and they have a nice outdoor seating area with heated lamps! They have a really affordable prefix family style menu but their normal menu is also affordable and has a nice variety. If you come here, getting a caesar salad is a must - it's creamy and tangy and extremely impressive for a salad. We tried their Vodka and Ragu pasta, more than your average portion and every bite got better and better! We ordered their half size chicken parm which was very well seasoned and crispy and perfect to share for 2! Our plates were cleaned by the end and next time we have to get dessert!

As soon as we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by many staff members. Staff was friendly and provided the day's specials in detail. Water refills constantly and multiple staff checking in with us throughout our stay. Now onto the food. The Mozerella sticks were delicious. I got a lasagna and my bf a salmon specialty pasta that were both amazing. Lastly we had the dessert that was yummy! Definitely happy to see a restaurant like this in our community, will definitely be returning in the future :)

I came here in April for a date day with my son and the wait times are pretty insane, but also it is a smaller restaurant and they try their best with the space which I loved. My son and I sat outside but waited about an hour the hosts were really nice from what I recall and her makeup was super cute and different I recall giving her a compliment about it because it was purple and it was adorable. Anyways back to the food my son ate his pasta so thats safe to say that it's Child Approved since I have such a hard time finding something he loves he's a inner foodie too like me hereditary of course. We had the Caesar Salad which was delicious I would alter how much dressing or salt there was but I'll do that on the side next time. The garlic cheese bread was phenomenal we both loved it. Lastly both pasta's that I recall were perfect and cannot wait to return hopefully with a reservation ahead of time to skip the wait. Overall service was amazing and I see why people keep coming back

Anniversary night at Sunday Gravy! The food was amazing, the shrimp and grits are savory and cheesy with an unexpected kick and I loved every bite. The Ragu beef has a tasty bite to the sauce and the beef is tender. The service is absolutely awesome. From being seated by a very happy young lady at the front, to our server Fernando, the assistant manager Tierra, to the owner Tom. Such a vibe the entire time we dined in. The music and the overall atmosphere.... Chef's Kiss!!! Thank you for treating your customers so well. Cheers!!

Sunday Gravy has been on our list for awhile after we passed by, trying to walk-in but it required 1 hour wait which got us intrigued. So we came back with reservation and one downside was we still had to wait for good almost 15mins post our appointment time to be seated. It's a cute thematic venue with spacious outdoor patio available. Their menu selection was pretty rich and occasionally they served off-menu offerings. We went for their crowd's top-picks, the Fusilli A La Vodka and Meatballs & Ricotta. The pasta was cooked al dente in nice creamy vodka sauce, which would even be better if slightly less sweet for my liking. My top reco would certainly be the meatballs with ricotta. Portion was filling with rich and luscious meatballs perfectly paired with ricotta and tomato-based sauce. The toasted focaccia certainly elevated the overall dish even more and we felt each element on this plate just made awesome group together!

Had a reservation so we were seated promptly when our entire table arrived. The waitress was really nice and made us laugh through our entire ordering process it really gave that "it's a family" feel! We had the family meal which came with garlic bread, two salads, and 3 pastas for about 85 dollars which was definitely a bang for you buck especially with 4 people. The salad was good you could really taste the anchovy flavor in the Caesar salad, it may have been a little too salty for some but I enjoyed the overall flavor. The vodka sauce was ok, it definitely was not one of my favorite sauces that i've had in the LA area and it was a bit too al dente for my taste but not bad. The Bolognese was delicious and pasta was cooked well and not too al dente. Lasagna was good, i've never been blown away by any lasagna that i've had but I appreciated it being a beef based sauce for any people that don't consume pork. Overall a pleasant experience and I would come back again if i'm ever in the area.

Came to this spot for dinner for four people. We had a reservation and were sat down quickly. Highly suggested making a reservation as this place becomes very busy! The inside has limited seating and is not big party friendly. Maybe more small to medium parties. They do have minimal outside seating as well! The food is so good!! Definitely a hidden gem tucked away in Inglewood! The Cesar salad was a bit too salty for my liking, but still had great flavor. You were able to taste the anchovies in the salad I personally am not a fan of vodka pasta BUT I will say this pasta was not watery, had great flavor, and tasted like pasta and not just tomato sauce! The pasta noodles were cooked perfectly They have options of wines and nonalcoholic options. During dinner time they dimmed the lights to a light red which did make it slightly hard to see the color of the food. The service was attentive and kind always making sure we had water and cleared empty dishes. Overall great Italian place if you love Italian food! Will come again and recommend to friends!

Found this place on social media. It was... meh. We visited for dinner for my son's birthday. They blocked off their parking lot so they could "valet" Money grab much? There is parking in the street, about a 5 minute walk. This place is not good for large parties. I mean, we had a party of 5 and they tried to squeeze us into a small 4 top.... The place was empty... common sense please. Then waitress tried to insist we booked for 4... um, I have the copy of the reservation lady. But also... empty. A party came like 10-15 minutes after us and got taken care of before us. I'm talking food hit the table before we got drinks. Don't ask for a table that seats 5 and show receipts, noted!! The cheesy bread doesn't come with sauce, weird. They didn't have mozzarella sticks at 2pm.... Place is empty.... Weird. This is what was built up online, we wanted to try it. The Buffalo wings are just that, Buffalo wings. Not a "special item" The portions are small and the food is good. For the price, I wouldn't choose this spot for myself again. Also, they charge the customer for their employees healthcare coverage....like you don't have enough money grabbing tactics already? Hahaha

Came in from the hype on TikTok Overall experience was good! We were able to get seated right away, I did notice that it was getting super busy closer to 5:30pm. First off, let's start with the parking... valet is $10 in the front, which they move your car to the neighborhood area behind it. You can save yourself that by parking yourself if you get lucky, or what I did was parked across the street. There is no on site parking since they put 5 tables in their parking lot stalls. Next the wait time for the food, Normal wait time, everything came out perfect timing. The food, was good! Out of the two pastas I really liked that ragu, had a great amount of meat and the pasta was cooked to my preference perfectly, I don't like it al dente. If you like lemon, you'll definitely love their a limone, has a good small spice. The Fried Brussel sprouts, super good in the beginning but they weren't as crispy as I would have liked, maybe too much sauce that made it soggy and a tad too much lemon. The Caesar salad, not going to lie it was pretty good, definitely could be more zesty but I think that could've been fixed by asking for more dressing? The staff is friendly, and on top of attending every table! I'll be back to try out the vodka pasta and mozzarella sticks another time

My son suggested we stop at Ghost Sando Shop before I dropped him and his fiancée off. Great idea. My wife and I shared the Kickin' Chicken: chicken, BLAST spread, chipotle adobo, melted mozzarella and sharp cheddar, topped with lettuce, pickled jalapeño, tomato, and white onion. It was delicious. The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and even delivered our sandwiches to us as we sat outside at one of the shaded tables - it was pleasant if you need a spot to eat versus taking it to go. One thing I really like on a sando is shredduce. It just makes a sandwich taste better. Not sure why. Ghost got it right. It wasn't busy shortly after opening on a Sunday, which was nice. I really enjoyed both the sandwich and the visit. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars.

It was delicious and the Dutch crunch bread was a good amount of crunch without being too hard that would rip open the roof of your mouth. I love the vegetable mix with it that included roasted peppers, pepperoncini but the Melrose spread was a tad bit much where it just oozed off the sandwich paper wrap. The sauce was good but a tad bit excessive. The staff was very nice but the food took longer than expected. Maybe that's because of them making it fresh but it seemed a tad bit longer than I expected for a non busy time I went (11am). Atmosphere is just your "fast" casual with outdoor seating which be nice when it doesn't become too cold or hot weather wise.

Guess what they wanted as soon as they touched down? You got it! Sorrento's Italian Market here in Culver City! Now supposedly over the weekend they're going to make up for their surprise and lack of common courtesy by taking me to some nice restaurant apparently! I'll believe it when I see it. Settled on some hard salami and the sheer smell that emanates from the market. You've heard of or better yet even witnessed the smell that emanates from Pirates of the Caribbean? Well, Sorrento's market has its own unforgettable smell, and it usually winds up in a net gain of about 5 to 10 lb for your waistline. So other than some hard salami, I was sure to get the you know what out of here quickly! But do come by folks! Come from near and come from afar. My family just came from New Orleans (which happens to be the 1st city-yeah even before New York...that saw Sicilians specifically bring their great cuisine to this land) and the first thing they wanted was some hard salami from Sorrento's 2,000 miles away! Lol The spirit of Sorrento's market lives on through current owner Albert Vera Jr, who continues to do his father, mother, and the city of Culver City proud. It's not Culver City if there's not a Vera somewhere, somehow.
