Wow. I was speechless after my first sip of the earl grey matcha. It was so creamy, smooth, and aromatic. Truly a perfectly balanced matcha. It is admittedly a little sweet, which is how I like my matcha, but I can see it being too sweet for some. I savored every sip and am already thinking about my next weekday off so I can catch them during their odd opening hours/avoid the weekend rush! As for the madeleines, they were just okay. I enjoyed the mango passion madeleine but wasn't wowed by it. The biscoff madeleine was unfortunately very over-baked and dry (the edges were nearly black). I was so excited to try their matcha latte and it was so yummy! We got the Matcha Cream Latte (with oat milk) and the Orange Matcha Latte (seasonal). The matcha tasted a bit bitter and it didn't have the vibrant green color, but it still tasted pretty decent. The price was good too, about $5-6 per cup. The Orange Matcha tasted less bitter than the regular matcha, but the orange syrup surprising tasted really well with matcha, a very pleasant combo. I also got a strawberry cheesecake madeleine and a lemon one. The madeleines were big and really delicious. The frostings on top were not too sweet, and the inside was really soft. I would definitely come back and try more flavors next time. We went on a Sunday morning and there was a long line waiting outside, and the inside is really small and tight. All the drinks have a wait time of 10-15 minutes since they only make about 4 cups at a time. They weighed everything on the scale from ice, milk, to the matcha/matcha cream, and the syrups. I was amazed at how much effort and love the owner put into each drink because they were not rushing at all, they took their time to make sure each drink was perfect. The service was 10/10, somehow it felt more like a meet n greet because everyone was so friendly. I would 100% come back if I'm in the area, especially to try more madeleine flavors! There was a line out the door when I went, but it still moved quickly! It took less than 20 minutes for me to get my drink. I liked how creamy my matcha was, as well as the flavor although it was premixed. I think it's really cute that they make it a little teddy bear shaped. The caramel inside makes it really rich, and it tastes almost like a brownie. Cappuccino - This one was a bit drier but still good. The coating is more rich and chocolate-y. Double vanilla - the outside taste like vanilla glaze. The inside has a vanilla bean cream, which is very good. This Madeleine is a little bit more on the sweeter side, but not too sweet. Corn creme brulee - soft texture and charred on the outside which makes it so tasty. A little bit harder than the rest probably because of the corn, but still very very solid Madeleine. Canele - the outside is hard with a caramelized crust. The inside has strong, rum, egg, and vanilla flavor. The center is really soft and tender, which makes it taste yummy. Matcha macadamia - the inside is made of a Matcha base. The nuts complimented the Madeleine very well. The Matcha glaze was smooth and not too sweet. Milky - reminds me of a glazed donut, but the inside is a lot softer. Not too sweet, which is yummy! VIBES The vibes are really nice. They decorated it with Christmas decorations so she gives a nice holiday feel. Very small interior with a bench for seating so much more of a grab and go place. Very cute. SERVICE Service is phenomenal! The guy who got our order asked if it was our first time coming and he gave recommendations. This little area of downtown Carrollton is so cute, and I am excited to see this shop next to my new favorite boba find (Milk T Bar) on the opposite corner of the tiny strip.
