I am shocked. I just did a putter fitting online. I did not expect that 30 minutes over the phone, after sending some videos, would be productive. Alan was GREAT! He was prepared, thoughtful and insightful. More importantly he knew what I needed and then fine-tuned his fitting with some pointed questions. After all these years, I finally got fitted for a putter. Thanks to Alan and the team at Evnroll Putters down in Carlsbad for a great putting experience. First off, give the team a call to schedule a putter fitting. Unfortunately the putting experience and fitting isn't free. It's like a golf putting lesson. You get an hour, an hour and a half or so with a person like Alan. He (or she) goes through your putts, analyzes the your putting stroke, compares your stroke with your putter (bring your gamer to the fitting) and then shows you a few Evnroll putters that may fit your putting stroke. Alan never pressured me into having to "buy a new putter" but after toying around with a few models that I liked (mallet, center shafted), I knew going into the fitting that I was going to walk out with a brand new personalized Evnroll. My old putters (SC, Od we're never fitted) so I was excited to walk out with a new Evnroll ER5CS, 34 inches with some loft and weight adjustments. It will take some time to get use to but can't wait to roll them straighter with the patented Evnroll milled faced putter. I have some friends that want to come down and get fitted as well, so I'll be sending them down to see Alan and the others at Evnroll. All milling, customizing and putter construction is done in-house in Carlsbad. Evnroll has a cool putting computer that is able to analysis all parts of your stroke from the path, to the head impact, to the ball speed, etc. all high tech. This is all part of your putter fitting. Their putters are sold in golf shops nationwide but for the best putting experience, come into their shop and get fitted. I paid for a fitting and also had to pay for the putter so the whole fitting and equipment was over $500. Well worth it for me. Note: they just moved into their new studio location on Aston about 5 weeks ago so everything is still being arranged. Be patient! read more

Went for an EVNroll putter fitting at their Carlsbad HQ with Alan in light of their new designs and refinements in unique face technology. A terrific experience from start to finish with putter selection based on data from their Quintic system, my own feel and preferences, and Alan's experienced eye. Distilling all the data I was able to select the best grip, dynamic putter weight, shape, hosel, lie and loft to optimize roll and aim. At the end of the session my new putter was custom built and ready to go within 15 min. of completing the fitting. I'd recommend a fitting and EVNroll technology to anyone serious about putting mofr balls in the hole. I had a great experience with Evnroll! I was recently fit for new woods and irons, the fitter talked me out of going to the Scotty store and recommended I visit Evnroll for my putter. I'm so glad I did, their set up is so relaxed yet the process and technology are very comprehensive. We learned quickly that I have been hitting down on the ball with my current putter, creating backspin that causes inconsistency. We also learned that the putter I've been using is too light for the way I swing it, making it hard to keep the ball straight on short putts. Alan put several options in my hand to see what the tech showed I rolled the best until we found the right match. What I love best about it is he didn't try and change the way I swing the club, I'm 43 years old and not likely to make a lasting change, so instead he tweaked the club to fit the way I already play. I've used my new putter about 10 times and noticed dramatically improved consistency on the greens, so much more confidence with my short putts when I'm just outside of the friend zone. I already sent my buddy AJ to Alan, I'm sure he won't be the last. Super happy, thanks guys. read more
