I have been coming to this salon for quite a while. Julie is my favorite girl for cut and color. She always takes her time to make sure I have the perfect hair cut and she is very patient and listen to what I want but also give me suggestions. The salon is modern, bright and clean. The girls work here are also so nice. They offer wine, water and tea and making sure the customers leave happy. I don't have any problem finding parking spot as well. read more

I initially found Evolve Salon on a whim. I had some time to kill and randomly searched for salons that were in the area...the reviews were great, I called, and was able to make an appointment for that morning! SO AWESOME! She really takes the time to listen to what you like, do not like, and ensures the style your looking for fits your lifestyle (I don't like to spend an assload of time on my hair, nor putting a lot of product, so she makes things really simple). I have the tendency to go to a salon and tell the stylist what I do/do not like and see what he/she comes up with. Personally, I figure if I don't really like it, it will eventually grow out. LOL. I went to see Sahar today and she was amazing!! My hair was damaged and so many different colors because I had been dying it myself for as long as I can remember. Luckily, Sahar knew exactly what to do and she explained that it would take time for my hair to be where I wanted it to be,but it was not impossible. She is very attentive and likes to take her time with her clients and that is what I love! For my first real experience with a hair dresser she was just amazing at her job! Let me start off by saying that I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair. All my life I have hated going to get my hair done because hair dressers would not listen to me and do their own thing and I would walk out irritated. Over the summer I wanted to get my hair done and wanted to try a place close by to my house since I was on a time crunch. I thank Yelp for finding this place for me. I walked in and was given an appointment with Kelly for the day of my birthday. Kelly is AMAZING! She is so sweet and listens to what you want! I have been to her a couple times since to get a hair cut. She knows that I am trying to grow my hair so she only trims the split ends. Overall this is a great salon. Very clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff and like I said, Kelly is amazing. Love this salon and LOVE LOVE my stylist and colorist Liz DelMazzio! My mom and I have both been going to Liz for 5+ years now, after some family friends recommended her. She's incredible with color and highlights. I get tons of compliments on my hair, thanks to Liz. It's blonde and almost waist length, but thanks to Liz, it never looks fried and damaged like a lot of long, light-colored hair can look. And I can hardly tell when it grows out because she blends everything so naturally and is so precise with the color. Fellow long-haired ladies - Liz will NEVER do the thing stylists love to do and surprise you by cutting off several inches without you asking for it. Love this salon! It is located right off the freeway and in a cute shopping center. So...honestly I am the pickiest person when it comes to my hair...especially when I'm getting it lightened . (Too many times I have had it come out orange-y and dry.) ...So with that said I LOVE KELLY!!! She always knows exactly what I want and isn't afraid to try new things. I called several weeks back asking for a haircut appointment. The receptionist told me she would ask around and get back to me. She didn't though I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Last week, I walked in asking for an appointment. The receptionist, I believe Haley, asked me when I would like the appointment. I told her anytime the following week but preferably Thursday. She told me that was fine and that she would ask around. Then I told her I had called for the same thing a few weeks back but she didn't say anything in response. My niece recommended Kara Graham to style my hair for my 3/5/16 wedding. I'd tried another stylist and our visions just did not come together. I booked a trial with Kara and after a quick appointment, knew she understood and would style me beautifully. She was early the morning of the wedding and she worked quickly and efficiently. My hair was beautiful! I had her stop mid-way through so I could get some pictures of the beautiful curls she'd set for a messy up do. She also styled my sister, my mom and my husband's niece - everyone looked great and loved their hair! It was a really long day with overcast weather and our ceremony was outdoors. I worried about the misting fog and my hair not making it all day (hair was at 730a, ceremony at 1pm and reception ended at 10pm). It did, all the way through and to the very end. My hair still looked good as I was pulling pins and removing the twine head piece at nearly midnight. Shortly after the trial (December, 2015), my regular stylist told me she was quitting the biz. I booked Kara for my regular color/highlights at the end of March, 2016. She did a great job and my hair looks fantastic. I have really curly hair, so the next test will be a cut that works for both curly and straight styles... stay tuned! In the interim, set Kara up for your wedding/event hair.
