We have been through a lot in the last week. We purchased a water heater through Lowes in Folsom all to install it and find out that it did not work. Lowes refused to return the unit even though their return policy is clear. After how horribly we were treated by so many different Lowes employees we were left in a bind. No one had water heaters and we lost our installer because he had other jobs. Two small children were bathed in cold water because Lowes refused the return and refused to exchange the defective water heater. We got lucky that Ferguson happened to have a water heater! When we got there we were informed it was dented. We were automatically offered a discount because of its condition. When we unboxed it later that night unfortunately it was damaged in four other spots as well. Bummed! Overwhelmed! But the man that helped us went above and beyond! He ordered us a new one and even though we have to wait it's just the actual genuine concern from them that really matters! They didn't second guess returning it either like Lowes! So I would hope this reaches someone above to see that in this day and age compassion and integrity still go a long way! This Emigh has become an El Dorado Hill's favorite. Hands down. It is definitely the community store for everyone. The customer service EXCEEDS (yes in caps) any I have received anywhere. The many times I have come to Emighs for very specific needs 99 percent ends with just the right gadget, advice or information I needed. However, after looking at a handful of other slab yards I still hadn't found *the one*. (I was shopping for a quartz countertop for my bathroom and kitchen) I went back to Pacific Shore Stones on a Saturday in early January and it was busy. Anthony was working that day and even though it was busy and he was helping multiple other people, I never felt invisible or smothered, I was checked on, and I was offered guidance on some of the slabs I'd liked in the warehouse, as well as the slab options in the showroom. Anthony gave me a lot of helpful advice that I would have not known to ask about or possibly overlooked because I wasn't aware to even consider it. I was able to find my slabs and will update the review once my project is complete. I'm really happy I went back into the store and worked with Anthony, he really made the experience a great one.

The sales rep for Hone Depot, Nathan, was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and professional. Scheduling, which done from their main office on Fee Street went smoothly without hiccups. Email was the primary mode of communication. However, I was able to call to speak to a staff when I wanted additional clarification regarding installation or other features. Installation was exceptional. Installers arrived on time. We showed them the site and asked a few questions. As prep for the site we laid out weed cover fabric, which provided a nice guide for positioning our shed. The installers went to work on the base frame and before preceding with the full install they asked for confirmation of the location because once the full build began they could move the shed. Once we ok'd the location the installers began the build and did not stop. They were awesome. Along the way they ask for confirmation of the shelving height and location and provided us with other important installation information. From start to finish these guys were phenomenal. I'm sorry that I did not get one of the installers name, but the lead guy's name is Vadzim. I recommend Tuff Shed if you need more storage. It was a non stressful good experience. As a side note, read your invoice AND your contract, don't gloss through them. There are details that you must pay attention. This will minimize or alleviate a stressful experience and misunderstandings. Don't forget do your research on sheds, read reviews and ask questions.

Fast forward eight weeks later I e-mail her back on a Tuesday ready to order~ I include the specific SKU and let her know I'll be waiting on ordering a hood and to let me know how to proceed. She is out of office and it auto forwards my e-mail to Jordan. Wednesday comes and goes and I don't hear back so I call the shop on Thursday morning and let them know I'm ready to order and speak to Jordan who mentions that I'm probably right and there was a price increase since then and that he'll look it over and send me a quote again. I don't receive an e-mail until Friday afternoon from someone else, Marcie who resends me the exact same quote from before with two hoods and a range when I had said twice I was ready to order the range and let me know how to get that processed. I was asked for my phone number and address again and waited for a reply to get my order placed- but I guess they went home for the weekend. I sent that over and didn't hear back again until Monday. I went ahead and placed my order Sunday with another retailer which ended up being $500 cheaper than the quote they sent over anyway. I was disappointed to see that PBK included a $200 shipping charge when I live a handful of miles away and could have accommodated a pick up if that was an option.
