My family had initially planned an outing two days after the federal shutdown. When we had to postpone, Evelyn was very understanding and professional. We were finally able to reschedule to last night and Evelyn was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. She provided confirmations all the way up to the morning of. Our driver, Michael, arrived a little earlier than scheduled which was the perfect amount is time to load items and settle paperwork so we were on our way at the departure time. He was friendly and professional and was there as he had promised when we needed fo be picked up. Our destination had a very non-limo friendly parking lot but you should've seen him do some strategic driving to make it happen! RUDE!!! This person "Evelyn" has been the person I've been emailing with and her last email pissed me off. She had the audacity to write "How much did you think it would be?" Don't come at me that way. If it's a language barrier thing, then check yourself.. but if you wanna be rude, I fuckin expected to pay for the amount of time I needed the fuckin service which is literally a 30min drive, not a full fuckin 3hrs because it takes your driver 2.5hrs to get from the garage and back. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service from the limo driver on our wedding day. He was scheduled to arrive at 1pm but did not arrive until 1:45pm, he was refusing to pick us up in the driveway of the hotel even though all the attendants were telling him that he would fit, we had to walk to the street in our dresses to get into the limo. After he dropped us off at the church he still had to go back to the hotel to pick up my husband, keeping in mind that the ceremony was at 2:30, hence why we booked him to start at 1pm. In addition, we had a specific timeline, wanting to arrive early to the church so my husband could set up steaming for my brother, who is hospitalized and was not able to attend. Due to the drivers tardiness, my husband didn't get to the church until it was time to start and was not able to set up the streaming, effectively having my brother miss the wedding. We had the same issue going back to the hotel. He refused to listen to direction from church security and therefor extended the time he took to take us back to the hotel resulting in us once again having to rush to stick to our timeline and try to do all the important things we had planned. The driver was unapologetic, never smiled, never said one word, never helped me or anyone else off the limo, it was a miracle he even opened the door for us. Obviously he did not receive a tip and did not deserve one. **A tip for all of you, they will ask if you want to tip ahead, DO NOT do this! The service they provided was undeserving of any compensation let alone a tip. Remember that you are driving people on such special occasions, you don't know what else is going on in their lives. It was already an emotional day due to the lack of my brother being there and him being ill in the hospital. Great limo (I got the large Chrysler) for my wife's 50th. Driver was on time, limo was clean, inside beautiful, and the evening went great.

BEWARE: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ISSUE 1 of 5: When we arrived and loaded into the limo, we immediately turned on the air conditioner as it was a very hot day. The air conditioner was awful and we were all sweating and fanning ourselves the entire drive from Huntington Beach to San Clemente. When bringing up this concern to the limo company, they simply stated it was record heat and that the limos only do well if it's 90 degrees or less. It was 85 degrees. So keep that in mind if you're booking on a hot day. (Still not what you expect when you spend nearly $1,000 on a LUXURY (HA) limo service). ISSUE 2 of 5: There was no ice as promised. So we had warm, iceless, cocktails in a hot ass limo. (We aren't quitters, what can we say?;)) ISSUE 3 of 5: They actually don't drive, I know, it's weird. We were told we were reserving it for the entire 7 hours, with flexibility to make another trip in that time frame if we wanted. I even called and confirmed this a second time the day of. SO, Since we had 18 in our party, 4 of our guests needed to leave earlier, still allowing plenty of time for them to be taken home and returned within the contracted time. Prior to even requesting that the 4 guests be taken home, we requested the driver to take us to a local store for ICE (They kinda owe that to us, right?) and well, she said no. Becuase she didn't want to move the limo. And parking (we had cones sectioning off the spot, sooooo... huh?) We were even pre-prepared with this extra large parking spot READY and had our family save it for the limo upon arrival. Makes no sense. So since she wouldn't move it, our two groups of 2 took separate ubers home and incurred that extra cost for it. ISSUE 4 of 5: They gave us their employee's name and number to ask for part of our 20% tip back, when we called the company to complain. How is that part of the solution? Actually, it's the most unprofessional and appalling thing I have ever witnessed. Let me rewind, and tell you that we called and complained very politely, that was our first step, and we asked that we kindly be reimbursed for part of the service. We had a pleasant conversation, and acknowledgement of our concerns, and were told we would be contacted. When we were contacted, we were met with a mere $78 refund request, for a 1/2 hour of time. We requested $200, in an effort to reimburse the two ubers (2 x $40), and in light of all the circumstances mentioned above, we should be refunded at least an additional hour, which is actually worth over $200--we felt we had a very fair request of $200. SO, upon stating that we would not have tipped the driver so greatly had we known this was going to be the case, (because you are required to tip the driver upon arrival. Also, unprofessional, but I get it. We didn't fight it, we just trusted and tipped generously over 20%), they told us to contact the driver if we had an issue with tip. We would never, ever do that, we were proving the point of how slighted we felt upon their broken promises. ISSUE 5 of 5: Management refuses to call or speak to us, or negotiate past the $78 half-hour fee. So, we yelp that shit. I can 100% say that we will never use this limo service again. For all the pomp and posh that Excel Fleet markets, you will undoubtedly be extremely disappointed. We were promised a luxury Escalade limo for $1000. What we were met with, in actuality, was an outdated limo with no working air, no ice, promises/expectations regarding driver pickups that were unfulfilled, and an atrocious customer service response. I booked a limo two weeks prior to my wedding on June 4th. It was during prom month but thank goodness we only needed it for the morning. It was an Asian wedding where we needed the limo to drive back and for between the groom's and bride's house as well as the church. The prices were great for the 7 hour service (a whole lot cheaper than what we had expected). Tip and taxes are included in their prices so it's not awkward at then end when the limo driver leaves (of course we still tipped him anyway (more on him later). If you call to book a limo, you would probably talk to Evelyn. I called a few times and Evelyn was always the one who answered. Hands down, she was the most nice and helpful person out of all the vendors we had spoken to. Her e-mails and phone calls are prompt. She's definitely on top of the game which helped take away all our stress about the limo. Limo came on time. Limo driver came on time and was very nice and courteous. This was my first limo experience so I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but he drove very nicely (no heavy breaking or accelerating). Driver was also very accommodating on schedule change. Although we were charged tip prior, we still tipped him when he left. We were extremely disappointed in the manner that customer service was handled. I had many families depending on me for a high school formal and was told about 2 hours before being picked up, our vehicle wouldn't be working properly with sound. I was offered another vehicle for a higher price. I was told I was given a good deal from the beginning so I shouldn't be upset. The "deal" I was given was the rate I was quoted when I called. I didn't negotiate a price I accepted the price they offered with a complete working sound system. You can't turn around and say the sound won't be working in the vehicle but it's fine we gave you a good price anyway. I was also told that "teenagers should be happy with what they get" I paid for a service and that is what I should get. Not a half working vehicle and be ok with it. We used Excel once again, this time for my sisters birthday. Again we had John as our driver, nice guy. We started in Costa Mesa, stopped at a liquor store and continued into Long Beach. We had the music blasting and the alcohol flowing. Great times. What I liked the best, was when another hummer limo was waiting for their guest to arrive. I asked the limo driver if I could take a peak, no problem he said. Wow, Excel's Hummer Limo was bomb compared to that chump limo. The other co. had fake wood floors and nothing exciting with the ceiling. As I may have mentioned before, Excel has the disco flooring, the mood ceiling lights, fake fish tank and fireplace. And for $25 more they would supply hard alcohol with soda. Our driver Jon was a sweetheart and was totally cool with all us girls flirting with him and changing our pick up time 3x. I used Excel Fleet Limo yesterday for my daughter's Sweet 16 "Day of Events." It was a full day of activities that started at 9am and I arranged for the limo to pickup the girls at 4:30p to drive them to the rest of their events. The driver (Michael) decorated the limo with a big bow that said "Happy Birthday" and the girls were so surprised when they walked out and saw it. They had to take a video, Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram it IMMEDIATELY, lol. There was also birthday balloons awaiting for when they got into the limo. The day concluded with a dinner where the girls had to get dress-up, then the limo dropped each girl home. My daughter and her friends had the best day!!! Michael was very professional and I HIGHLY recommend him as a driver. Evelyn in the office (who I coordinated everything with) was awesome from beginning to the end. Flawless evening start to finish! I read reviews on many,many limo companies before deciding on Excel. I was still a little worried because it seems that all companies have good and not-so-good reviews. I requested Anthony as our driver because of the positive reviews he had on Yelp and he could not have been more professional. Very nice and friendly, but always keeping the "I am your chauffeur" respectfulness and properness. He showed up early to get business over and our fun started right on time. He also let us know when it was time to head home and returned us there right on time. My family of six went out in the ten passenger limo to look at Christmas lights in Orange County. Plenty of room for the gifts we brought with us and Anthony offered to put our coats in the trunk so we didn't have to juggle those around in the car. The evening was perfect. Couldn't have improved upon it one bit. Anthony drove the neighborhoods we went to as though he lived in them. It was very impressive and completely relaxing. Speaking with Evelyn to make the arrangements was pleasant and she patiently answered all my questions~I had never ridden in a limo before so I had plenty of them. My only suggestion is that if you request anything in particular, such as a driver or an amenity, be sure to call a day or two beforehand and make sure that those things are going to happen. I rented the spacious limo (12-14 )for my boyfriends birthday 30th. The limo was pretty outdated on the inside the sound was bad blasting from out dated speakers. We couldn't really enjoy the music at a nice level with out it be distorted. So beware. The limo driver's phone wasn't working so he said he wasn't able to answer the phone when we were ready to get picked up from a location. The limo driver had a girl in the passenger seat with the driver maybe thats why he didn't respond quickly. The limo driver spent a lot of time driving around the spot where we wanted to be dropped off. All in all it wasn't the fabulous night I had imagined. ******Word of advice check the year of the limo and make sure the driver will answer his phone and has no girl riding with him shot gun. Excel Fleet Limo does not provide the great customer service you would expect from a Limo company. I gave them loads of business for our wedding, more than $1200 worth (3 limos: two 10-passenger limos and the hummer) but they failed. I would not recommend doing business with them. 1) They showed up an hour late when picking up the bride's family because the driver got lost. 2) They fail to communicate they are running late and delivered the bride's family 30 minutes after the reception began. 3) The driver is instructed to go back and pick up another group of guests but returns 15 minutes later because they were unable to run the credit card. So he wastes an additional 30 minutes coming back instead of going to pick up the guests. He was going to return to the reception anyway after picking up the guest so we could have settled the credit card issue then but they don't think at this company. A total waste of a limo. We requested a partial refund the following day because the services we required were clearly not fulfilled and all the owner offered was a $50 gift card for future use with them. Why would anyone want to give them return business after the fiasco and problems they caused? They were supposed to help our guests enjoy the wedding reception but instead caused further inconvenience. Luckily we know how to have fun despite incompetent limo service. I would stay away from a company that fails to admit their mistakes and work with the customer to come up with a reasonable resolution. read more

I rented the Excalibur on my wedding day, the car was extremely nice and unique looking, the lady was very helpful and gave me all the information, we booked from 10am to 5pm. The limo driver showed up on time and he seems OK at the beginning, so we were done with the ceremony and pictures at 3:00pm, we wanted to go back to the hotel and relax before hitting the reception but he keep saying that traffic is bad etcss...so OK, we went straight to the reception, got there around 3:30pm, he was going to drop us off and bail but I told him I rented this car until 5pm, then he said, you want me to sit here and wait until 5pm? I asked him to take the groomsman back to the hotel and he was making excuses that the company doesn't want him to put mileage on the car. WTH??? we rented this car until 5pm and the lady told us we can use it in any ways we want.....I was so piss off, I told him drop off the groomsman at the hotel and you can leave. So if you are thinking of renting any of these cars, make sure the limo driver is a fun and out going person, or else it will ruin your day. 1 star for the lady that help me 1 star for the Excalibur read more

This was the worst decision I made in terms of a limo company. They are a company based on lies and extortion, and stole 2000 dollars from my party on I. They claimed a dirty trash can on the limo as "damage to the vehicle" and demanded a 500 dollar clean up fee or they would leave us stranded at our destination, an hour and a half away from our home. After we gave the credit card, they double charged it, the limo driver used derogatory comments towards women and about our character, claimed "she felt unsafe driving us home" then abandoned us. In total, we needed over 600 dollars in cab fees to get the 16 of us back home. Never use this company, take your money elsewhere to avoid being scammed. read more

I rented the elegant cadillac escalade for my Birthday. I worked hard to pay for this limo for my family and friends to enjoy and to my dismay by the end of the night I was utterly embarrassed and disappointed for a variety of reasons. We asked the limo driver (Richard) where the fog machine was and he said there wasn't one on this limo. When in fact it clearly states on their website that a FOG MACHINE is included in this limo. This is false advertisement on their part and a feature I highly looked forward to using and one of the many reasons why I chose that limo in the first place. Richard would not take my friends to the Griffith Observatory and wouldn't look up an address to a bar they had wanted to go to. Instead, they had to look up the address on their own personal phones. You would think that a limo company could look up an address easily with a GPS which I'm sure all their limos are supplied with. To be honest, he didn't even seem to want to drive us anywhere that night and asking him to go to a certain destination seemed like a chore and at one point I even felt hesitant to even tell him where to go. A friend of mine wanted to pull over and get some fresh air. He never got sick in or outside of the limo but, Richard decided he wasn't going to allow him back into the limo. So, two of my friends had to leave the limo and they had to spend an outrageous sum of money for a taxi back home. We had some disagreements with how the situation was being dealt with and then Richard proceeded to threaten my family and friends in saying he was going to call the police. It was getting extremely hot in the limo and we were trying to figure out how to turn on the air conditioner. Suddenly, Richard turned off all the power in the limo and we were sitting there in complete darkness. He rose his voice at my family and friends saying to stop turning the air conditioner on and off on and off! He even made it a point to lock all of our controls and was even ignoring our requests to put the divider back up. Personally, I felt like I was being scolded by a parent and embarrassed that this was actually happening in front of all my family and friends. I've been on other limo rides with other companies before and have never received this kind of treatment EVER. It got to the point where I just wanted to go home early and not finish my 2am drop off time. For the money that I put forth towards this you would think that the service would be exceptional. But, after that night I was embarrassed for even inviting those 13 other people with me. I was even apologizing to them on my birthday for coming! Excel Fleet Limo should know that I am not a satisfied customer. I understand that most of their business is through referrals and I can tell you right now..my family and friends will NEVER use this company again. AVOID THIS LIMO COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Everything was exactly right! I spent so much time searching (I think I ended up booking within 1 week of the even) for a limo company to take us on a Temecula wine tour for my husband's birthday. I'm a little scatterbrained so I wanted a company that would recommend the wineries and include the tickets. But their costs were way above Excel's, so I decided to do my own leg work (which was minimal) and hit up a website that listed all the wineries in Temecula and picked the ones based off of my needs. So even though Excel won't include that in the package, I didn't think it was a deterrent since I just named the wineries I wanted and then paid in cash for those tickets when we got there. Evelyn was my first point of contact. Very friendly, answered all my questions and gave me simple instructions on how to proceed with deposit and payment. I switched my times around so much, but she remained flexible and patient. Great start! (Note, My first call was on a Friday and left a message with a gentleman who said he would have Evelyn call me back, I didn't get a call back by Monday, so I called again and got Evelyn on the phone that time. I let her know I didn't get a call back, she apologized for the mistake and we moved on.) Of course, you're always concerned about your limo driver...you never know who you'll get. Our driver was Anthony. He was great! He was at least 10 minutes early and we took care of the payment, as discussed, right off the bat. He had a great personality - he talked to us, but did not try to push himself into our every conversation, and was very cool, polite, and never inappropriate. He got us back exactly on time and did a quick check to make sure we didn't leave anything behind and then he was off! We also got a free bottle of champagne and orange juice for mimosa's on our ride out, which started the morning off perfectly. Also, living in Orange County, it was nice to be picked up from home and dropped off back at home instead of having to drive out to meet the limo out near Temecula (which is what I would have had to do with other limo companies) when going on a wine tasting tour.
