I had this company for 7 years and they always came to do the job quickly and always took care of everything for me. Price was great as well. Even came to know the guy who would do my house Then I moved. We had the intention of keeping them at the old location and add the new location. Decided to set up service on a weekend when we are available. Since both my spouse and I work weekdays. Saturday came and we made sure were were available. Our service guy never showed up. So I called and was told that he was stuck at another job that took longer than normal. Which sometimes happens so it wasn't a huge deal. Rescheduled for the following week. Again they never showed up. I called and they stated I wasn't on the schedule. I scheduled a third time. Again no show. I decided that enough was enough I stated that if he didn't show up on this next schedule I was going to cancel. The guy was to be at my home between 12 and 3. I called at 1 to make sure we were still on and they confirmed and the guy would be there before 3.....3 came around and nothing. So I called them and cancelled my service for both locations. I dont know what had happened excel. But people save yourself the headache and try someone else. read more

Really not sure what the mixed reviews on the place are all about. Sean and Evan came out to provide me with a free quote for some termite issues I was having in my home. Sean's quote Was by far the most competitive, and he really showed genuine concern about my issue. Out of the five other companies I got quotes from, he was the only person to actually take the time and go up into my attic to check things out all around. Everyone else was in and out in five minutes with a quote few times higher than what he was willing to do the job for. Sean got me on the schedule within 2 days, texted me from his cell phone to stay in touch the whole time. Evan & Jason callee before they appointment time and arrived right on time. They finished the job in less than 2 hours and were incredible the entire time. Super happy with them and their work. Thanks guys! read more

Please save money and hire a reliable company with experienced technicians. Called for initial inspection and they even came within that hr then swindled me out of$250 for 5 min of work which I'm sure there didn't he was in my attic for 1 min. Then they never explained the contract as far as the service days and when. Charged me a total of 2 months and never showed. I emailed them and they now were too busy and promised to have someone at my home in 2 days. A week later and still no show. I decided to cancel and they continued to charge me the following day $35 and on top of all the money they had taken they wanted an extra $70 to cancel when it was their incompetence that led to cancellation. read more

Not the sexiest thing to review, but I think good businesses deserve recognition, period. We had some...guests, and needed them out fast. I'd reached out to some recommended companies but all ended up being inconsistent and sketchy. Quick Google search put Excel near the top of the list (paid advertising maybe?) and I called. They were very professional and offered a free estimate. When the technician, Damien, arrived, he was on time and professional and explained the possible reason for said guests. He committed to be the person to come for all 3 treatments and was always on time and professional (traits I obviously find important). I call out Damien specifically because he was great. I usually don't feel comfortable in my home alone with strangers, but Damien did not make me feel uncomfortable at all and announced his movement from room into room, even told me before he turned on the sink! Loved it all. I did not give 5 starts because as a Type A individual, I felt there was one tiny thing that could improved; confirmation calls. I would have to confirm with them, which I don't feel is best practice. Over all, "Yay! I'm a fan", and if ,Lord forbid, those non paying guests come back, I will call my new friend Damien and Excel Termite. read more

This has to be the worse company ever. They are sending me bills for a service that I have never received. I have called them several times and threatened to sue them and they still continue to send me bills that are not mine. I have had to file complaints with the BBB and the Broward Attorney Generals Office to try and resolve the matter. If not, I will have to get an attorney and sue them for the continual harassment. It is now starting to affect my health. I warn everyone to stay clear of this company so that the same thing does not happen to you. read more

Not sure about the other reviews here, it doesn't seem like the same company to me. I am a new client to Excel Termite and Pest Control and let me tell you it was a great decision for me, not such a great decision for the pests around my house. I used to see a few pests here and there but since they were here, those pests have most likely gone to the roach motel in the sky. Not only that, Excel goes above and beyond than any exterminator service I've ever dealt with. Today I went to the side of my house only to be greeted by a furry dead carcass. I didn't even want to get close enough to see what it was. Anyhow I contacted Excel never imagining they would help but when I asked if there was anyway they can come out and remove whatever it was (it ended up being a squirrel) they were out here in less than 90 minutes to remove it. If I were you, exterminate the company you are using now and call Excel. I'm glad I am a client of theirs and I can rest assured my house will be critter free, dead or alive. read more

A million thanks to Excel Termite & Pest Control. Their customer service team rocks! Their professionalism and expertise are exceptional. For 2 years I have had an annual contract and no matter what I call about, rats in the attack, biting insects, ants, etc they take care of the problem with NO additional costs. This company always goes above and beyond to make sure I am pleased with the outcome. When there is a new problem, the owner Jason comes to evaluate and then strives for making my many home pest issues, and my worries, his priority. He explains with detail and helps me understand the problems he encountered and his plan to see this difficult project through! I recently had rats in the attic. Jason went around the entire exterior of the house and on the roof found and sealed all the openings he could find and didn't charge any extra for any sealing needed. We have been serviced by Exel for the past 2 years, and the last 6-8 months, the guy that services our property is newer to the company (or to our property) Every time he's here I'm amazed with the knowledge of his work and the overwhelming amount of courtesy, respect and graciousness he delivers! We were under attack of millipedes & I was flipping out for months. If these guys had to come to our home every day for a month they did it with a smile on their face!! This company is a joke. They gave us a 5 hour time window and failed to appear within that time. After repeated calls, their representative continued to state that she wasn't able to get in touch with them and would call us back when she contacted them. She never returned our calls and they never showed up. Don't even think about using this horrible company. read more

They are liars. Signed contract for rat control. They showed up not having enough traps, no show for the next day when promised tor return with enough traps, no show the next week for the service, no show when I called to complain. Finally showed up two weeks later to empty traps, but again showed up without enough traps. Same thing happened the next 3 weeks. They only came when I pushed the issue. Now I am on monthly service, the rats are out of control, and they continue to be no shows. I am hiring another company and eating my lost money I paid because they take too much of my time to even get an answer or return phone call. They are the worst. read more
