Although our attic space is tight, Garnet was persistent to get up there and retrieve the intruders. He gave suggestions on how to keep them out along with pictures. I contacted Orkin after terminating a local pest control for poor service. In short, they started out nicely but when we had a roach problem due to a pipe being exposed after handi man plumbing job. In the last month we see alive & dead roaches in the house. Supervisor has been to the house. Made recommendations which I followed. No success, & we spoke to manager who lied to us. I was referred to Michael, whom works for Orkin, for spraying new landscaping we had put in back in August. I left a voicemail and promptly received a call back from him. We scheduled a visit for him to look at what was needed and discussed options and packages. Unfortunately, we have had a pest control person for awhile now and would not want to cancel him and Michael understood our commitment to him and didn't pressure to try and have us switch. So far so good. I've trusted a competitor in the past for any bug issues in the house. However since moving to this area they did not show up for my appointment and then told me they couldn't tell me when they could come out. I called Orkin CS number and was given several different options for prices but thought they were higher and the fist application required a higher amount. So I was still looking. I received a text message from the branch who stated to me different prices and I went with one. The tech came out on Saturday and was very detailed and went through and explained everything. He stated we called just in time as he found eggs in the kitchen and promptly scheduled a follow up call this week to check in. I have seen some more but they appear to be dying which is a good sign. So far I've been pleased and hopefully this will be taken care of soon. read more

Garnett is the man!!!!!! Without question awesome service! I made a relationship with Garnett a service professional for Orkin while I was living in a townhouse. I moved and recently noticed a couple of bugs in my new kitchen. Two nights ago I was invaded!!!! I had bugs all over. The next day I made a call to Garnett, he was there that day! If you don't consider that customer service I don't know what is! Garnett didn't rush around and put a few baits out or spray around the base boards, instead he ripped apart the kitchen found where the bugs were breeding and made sure they weren't going to have kin running around my place in the future. Javier from Orkin came out to my house on May 20, 2022 to do my annual termite inspection. He took his time and gave me lots of information that I didn't know. He pointed out things that were good that I was doing and why it would help keep termites out. He also showed me things that were not good and explained why and how I should change them. He was able to answer all my questions and gave me detailed explanations. He was polite, patient, very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Donald from Orkin is a very nice man and an excellent exterminator. A couple of years back, we started seeing roaches, so I called Orkin because of their pet-safe products. Within a week, the roaches were gone, and we haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend Orkin due to their professionalism, and the products they use. I called this company because we saw a mouse in the house. The first time I spoke with them, they mentioned that their services would treat the entire house, fill any small cracks, and then place traps. We got the pricing and needed to call back after we checked out a few other options. Called back and asked to repeat the services, and once again they mentioned FILL THE CRACKS. Both me and my partner were on the phone and heard it twice. We agreed, and set up a time. The two people that came were in and out of our 2 story townhouse in less than 10 minutes. They quickly set a few traps, filled no cracks, and we're not even sure they did the perimeter of the house. We called to cancel the services which were certainly not worth the $200 we paid. A trip to Walmart could've done the same job for under $20. They argued with us, saying they do not fill cracks and we must have been misinformed. If I was misinformed by YOUR staff, then YOU should be the one to give us back our money for the false advertising. Needless to say, still no mouse caught, and will certainly tell all of my friends in the area to avoid this less than mediocre service in the future. read more

I had dry wood termites in '96 in which they tented the house. since then I've had borate treatments every 5 years. I have had dry wood termites for two years in which after three area treatments and a borate treatment in my attic, I still have dry wood termites. They notified me today that their guarantee does not include fumigation if the problem persists! Therefore their guarantee means absolutely nothing if you read the fine print. This is not a reputable company. They are expensive and do not honor their agreements. They use deceptive practices in order to get the consumer to purchase bogus protection contracts with pricey treatments. read more
