Visiting Reno and stopped by this spot for 90 min deep tissue with my partner. Massage was very poorly done, was rushed and they ended it at 60 min and I told them it's actually 90 min, she said sorry but I was done, I got up and said no thanks gently cuz bad massage really stresses me out. That said they are polite so I'm not sure if everyone has this experience but I can't stand getting massage that is not with care and calm (I know how to massage myself, been to school ect), anyway she was not professional at massaging and was little aggressive with stretches too, talking to each other while massaging us was another annoying thing, so excellent no but awful massage lol best luck to them read more

Had me make a review at the beginning claiming 10$ off(didn't get it). The tables are extremely uncomfortable, gave me a headache, got choked out because of it. Made my neck hurt even more. Went in for my lower back mainly, they barely did anything involving lower back. I actually came out with my lower back in more pain due to the table. No consistency going from left to right side. And try to push me to tip at the end. Would not recommend this place. I came out feeling worse then when I showed up. Not worth the money read more

My husband and I had a couples massage and it was the best massage my husband ever had he said. Tina was super strong and got in really deep tissue and hot stone therapy. He had cupping afterward. My therapist Jack had to the leave the room once to tend to a walk in I'm guessing but it was short and only once so I didn't mind. I had a short reflexology afterward which I wish would have been focused on pressure points but next time I'll be sure to ask that he does that. Sitting in our hotel room at the Atlantis I spied their neon sign. Not wanting to spend 400 bucks plus for a couples massage at the hotel we decided to give this place a shot. To be honest the outside of the building gives the appearance of a massage parlor where you might leave with a "happy ending" but this is a legitimate massage place. I have had two massages with Excellent Massage in Reno, Nevada and both sessions have lived up to the business name. Lisa Wu is an amazing massage therapist and gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. This says a lot because I generally get a massage every 7 to 10 days. I am unable to utilize the skills of my regular therapist, Paulette Harris of Black Magic Massage in San Diego, CA, because I am on a road trip for the next 6 months. Lisa Wu found all my crunchy, tight muscles and with her excellent technique she worked them all out. My neck, shoulder, hands, forearms and feet were aching from all the driving and working out. I felt 50 pounds lighter after she finished the massage. I highly recommend Lisa Wu because she will find all your tight, aching muscles and work them until your body feels like butter. read more

Excellent is IT! The first time I went, my girlfriend and I spontaneously decided to get reflexology massages. We both walked out relaxed and happy. My masseuse, Jake was so good, I decided to schedule a full body massage. MAN oh MAN, what can I say..... First, a massage is NOT a social hour for me, it's the only bit of time I get to RELAX. The only question he asked was if the pressure was okay. The rest, I totally zoned, meditated and was washed away mentally. He so strong and firm, he opened up areas that were stagnant. I was so relaxed walking out, but he got a work out; I was TIGHT. I will warn you tho, if it's been as long as it had been for me, the next few days were YUCK! I have had many massages over approximately 30 years and I'm so glad I found Excellent Massage. Lately I have been seeing Lily for the 90 minute full body. These are some of the best massages I've ever had. She has really helped me with some chronic neck, back and foot problems. Lily has real skill and I highly recommend her. This will be the first and probably last review I leave on Yelp. I like this place so much I had to show my appreciation and let everyone know. It's best to call ahead and schedule an appointment to see Lily or anyone else you like but if you want to walk in, they are very accommodating. read more

Not sure why this place only had 9 reviews and 3.5 stars. But I was extremely impressed. My husband and I went snow boarding all day and wanted to get massages without spending $500. We're very experienced in getting massages and usually succeed in finding great massage places for cheap prices without the shady business. And I can say we succeeded again. This place was great. Clean and professional. 70 bucks for a full body massage with a little hot stone treatment. They even have some warming coil bag thing they put under our necks to keep us warm and relaxed. The exterior will turn you off as it resembles all the other suspect Asian massage parlors. But the inside is clean that gives a very comfortable setting. If you're in Reno and want a massage without spending 200 bucks per person. Give this place a try. We tipped 20 bucks each so we ended up spending 180 overall for two full body massages with female masseuses. Credit cards are accepted but cash is preferred read more

The masseuse seemed as if she had no training. The massage was very poorly executed, just random pressing and pinching, mostly of my back, no arms, legs, shoulders. She kept bumping my head with her belly constantly. Basically 75 minutes into the 90 minute massage I stopped the massage and walked away. This rating will change if I can ever get in. I received a Groupon for my birthday, made an appointment, told them it was a Groupon and everything. I went in and was turned away. My appointment was at 10 and the lady said she doesn't understand Groupon and asked my to come back later. I said I can't because I have to work. She said come back tomorrow then at 2. I again said I can't because I have to work. She said her boss doesn't come in until after 10 or 2, which makes no sense, that's two very different times. I asked to reschedule my appointment and asked if I could do the weekend. She said yes but then changed her mind and said her boss doesn't work weekends so I can't come in. Then she decided I could come in tomorrow at 10 and her boss will be there. If that's the case why wasn't her boss there today at 10 and why doesn't he/she teach his/her employees how to use Groupons if he/she wants to use them? I'm very frustrated and am expecting to be turned away again tomorrow. Don't buy a Groupon, hopefully don't get gifted one. If you do then they have to deal with it on their time because the receiver has no say. We will see what happens tomorrow... read more

Was definitely a strange experience. I got there at 12:45, my appt was at 1. A lady came out 10 minutes later greeted me and then said someone will be out to grab me. Another 10 minutes go by and another gentlemen comes in and they take him back and he did not have appointment. Another man comes out after his massage and he is getting ready to leave and the MT says "No Tip." I almost walked out at that point because it was so unbelievably rude to ask that. A different lady who I haven't seen came out and grabbed me and apologized that it was 20 minutes past my appt time. She took me back and performed a great massage but pillows were very uncomfortable and two times during the massage other MT's knocked and opened the door. Very unorganized and very unprofessional place. Would not recommend due to above experience. read more

I had a deep tissue massage for 1 hour and Jake was amazing. I'd never had a deep tissue and he made sure the pressure wasn't to much. They have nobody that speaks enough English to help you, even if they answer. The owner barely speaks English and is incompetent. The therapists work 7 days a week and 12 hours a day; a real sweat shops that make them too fatigued to give a good massage. I live in California and come to Reno an average of 5 days a month. I have neck and shoulder pain for a few months , when she gave me massage , she uses hot stones and hot towels to deep relax my muscle , after couple times , my neck and should pain almost gone , I really appreciate it !
