Here is the story: My Home warrenty would not repair or replace my pool heater because of mice damaging the wires. My question to the technician they sent out was " Why can't the wires be replaced?" I was told it just can't be done like that and they gave me a quote on a new heater.$6k I thought the quote was high so I called another company who also told me, it's just too difficult to fix the wires and gave me another quote for a new heater. I decided to wait because I could not afford a new heater. Somehow (miraculously) I turned on the heater a month later, and it just started working again.?? Fast forward-two years of it working just fine, I get my pool replastered and they disconnect everything. Once they reconnected everything, they told me that the heater did not work because of mice damage to the wires and tried to sell me a new heater for $4k. I called Excellent for yet a 4rth opinion. Best pool service I have ever had. Was having family come over on a Saturday, but we had a pump failure a couple of months prior, which led to algae build up and just a mess. Had several people out here, but it was never fixed properly. Even after having it drained an acid washed. It literally came down to the Saturday family was coming over for the first time to swim. I texted Ana from Excellent Pool Care early in the morning that Saturday. She responded immediately and was over at my house in about 30 minutes. She worked on it for hours, left several times to pick up things, like the manifold that holds the filters in place, that I had broken. She cleaned the pool so amazingly, it was ready to go before family even showed up that afternoon. While she was here, she taught me (who knew nothing about pools) everything! She was absolutely amazing. When it was done, she only charged me around 65 for the work, and then 75 for the manifold (which was the actual price of it). She WAY under charged me for her work and the lessons she taught me. I total of $130 for all of that????!!! Super happy and will never ever use anyone else again if I need anything. I gave her $200 because of how happy I was and still felt like it wasn't enough. Hands down best pool service in town. read more

Called early morning for a pool pump repair estimate. I was told it was $90 for a service call, and the $90 could be applied to the balance if work was performed. After 3-4 times reaching back to set arrival time, he and his team showed up at 3pm. Directly after his arrival, he open the priming bucket and quickly discovered the basket was in the wrong position for priming and said, there it's fixed. I shockingly informed him and his team that was not the problem I was having or called about. After explaining what was happening, one of his men said, you have just described the motor as going out, and continued to explain why. I said, okay. Great, how much to replace and install? Jorge said I will text you the price. I agreed and confirmed the service call was $90 and it could be applied to repair work later done later. He said, no. its $95 and we fixed the problem. I was confused and said no, you said the motor needs to be replaced? He said, no we turn the basket, and now it's priming. I said no, that wasn't the problem. Nor here nor there, would the service call be applied to repair work if replace and install a new motor. He said, no. We turned the basket and that was the repair. (WTH? Now, I'm feeling irritated.) Jorge continues and says, I was here last year and replaced your compactor 3 times and gave your money back. (Now, I'm thinking,...This guy knew my motor was bad and going out last year and let me replace my capacitor how many times and to top it off knew the address he was arriving at today?) I paid him for his time but, he is not NOT A FAIR BUSINESS MAN. And if others must have given him 5 stars because they were desperate for help, as I was, and lacked the knowledge of the trade. You see, I had noticed several ongoing issues with my pool such as a leak in the filter, the autofill malfunctioning & loose exposed wires/no cover on the capacitor.
