What a fantastic experience and JEFF was such a nice and helpful guy. My car had a random issue that started out looking like an easy fix. Jeff grabbed the owners manual and spent 20 minutes trying to trouble shoot to prevent me from having to get it towed to the dealer. Once we realized it was only something a dealer could fix we started searching the car for the tow hook. Of course my new car was missing the tow hook. I was in an accident and brought my bmw here to get the bumper replaced because this shop worked with my insurance company. The women at the front were very friendly and they have an office dog that greeted me with a wagging tail both times I was there. My car was fixed in a reasonable amount of time and Sean was very friendly and informative when I asked any questions. Exceptional scum is the lowlifes of the auto body business. They created extra damage on my car to make more off my insurance which caused my rental coverage to run out before it was fixed. All out of pocket expenses. Then I was told I would get genuine parts which they charged my insurance for but as it turned out it was all the cheapest aftermarket crap they could find that started to fall apart after 3 weeks and the clear coat started to spiderweb. The owner told me I must've hit something else which was a pathetic defense. I had to bring it to another shop who confirmed the work was done poorly with cheap parts. But it gets worse. I had expensive electronic equipment that was missing the next day after the tow. Their tow truck drivers are thieves. I heard this from other people as well. I have no idea why my insurance company guaranteed them but even they wouldn't replace the thousands I lost from the theft. read more

I've had two cars repaired here since I've lived in the area. If I need repairs again (god forbid), I'll definitely return. The work they did was great each time. The ladies that work the desk are the absolute sweetest and did a great job communicating with my insurance company and took care of all of that in a timely manner. An Enterprise is right down the street and they worked closely with them so that a car was brought over for me and shuttled me back and forth as needed (even though it's an easy walk). Pretty sure they detail your car after service as well. And they gave me a great deal on a quick unrelated side job since they were already painting the car, etc. Side note - They also have a nice salt water aquarium and sometimes there's a sweet old yellow lab wandering around to pet. It's silly, but it's nice to have these little things during the stressful times after an accident. I just think they are the nicest people. They do good work and it's clear they always have a ton of people bringing their cars in. It just seems like the place is super organized and runs like clockwork. I have no idea how their prices compare, but they are a preferred shop with my insurance company and I trust their work. read more

My Golf Sportwagen suffered significant damage by a hit and run driver just before Christmas. My insurance company referred me to Exceptional Auto Body as the nearest approved body shop that had the earliest available appointments. I was a little concerned because there were a number of negative reviews suggesting poor customer service and unexpected delays in completing the work. It did seem, however, customers were pleased with the quality of the bodywork so I ended up choosing Exceptional. While I almost never write reviews, I really felt I need to go on record to let anyone considering Exceptional know how incredibly pleased I am both with the quality of the work and the customer service experience. It was just fantastic on all counts, particularly the communications. The job was completed a full week earlier than promised and the car was just spotless. Looks better than new both inside and out. This was such a horrible experience. They literally​ could give a s**t about you. No Satisfaction what so ever. They had two 2 weeks,knowing I had a rental car, and car was not fixed. If I could rate a 0, I would have. I went here after being rear ended because my insurance company suggested it. I wanted to clean my car out before hand but they said not to worry. I ended up leaving medication in my car but luckily had an extra refill and used that while my car was in the shop. I was happy that they were timely and cleaned my car. They not only repaired the exterior damages to my car from an accident, but were kind enough to fix two smaller unrelated dings/scratches free of charge. They also sent text messages letting me know the status & progress of my repairs while it was at the shop. And my car was even washed, waxed, vacuumed & armor all-ed upon pick-up! My experience was good and bad. I took my Honda Accord here for body repair after a car accident. THE GOOD - They replaced my hood. They painted my hood, fenders and front bumper. For free they smoothed out my front bumper from many many stone chips. Other repair shops I went to would not include this in their quote my insurance company. They did a good job painting the car, matching the color, and then buffed the paint to a glorious shine!! For free they buffed out scratches on my trunk left from a bike rack I used. THE BAD: There are spots on the car where they over buffed spots, and in the right light there are deep swirl marks. They have a lot of volume, so like McDonalds they don't take much time to take your order. If I had another accident there is a 65% chance I'd go back. read more

"Exceptional"ly bad. I took my car here to get some minor front-end damage to my car repaired. There was a crack in my bumper and some damage to one impact-absorbing piece behind the bumper. The total estimate was about $1500 and the insurance company estimated 2 days for a repair to be done. It took Exceptional two and a half weeks to complete the repair. I called every couple of days to see how things were progressing, and the story I got was that there was a backordered part which was supposed to add a day delay, but they didn't notice that the part never actually came in for at least 3 business days, until I called again to (apparently) remind them about it. Also, every time I called, they would tell me to "call back in a couple days" for the next update. Sorry, but I'm busy, and the least you can do if I'm paying you $1500 is to call ME every few days and give me an update. I got the sense throughout the process that they insanely over-book their work given the facilities and staff that they have. At one point they told me that it would be 4 days before my car's bumper could be painted. And to top it all off, about $3.00 in quarters that I keep in my center console (for tolls and parking meters) was gone when I picked the car up. Super classy. Brought my truck in for damage to the rear quarter panel sustained in an accident. After an extra 8 days of them having my truck I got it back with some electrical work half done and and for some suspicious reason they decided to disconnect my dash cam while it was at their shop and that is now broken. This is the second time I've brought my vehicle here for body work and both times they have been delayed weeks and I've needed to bring it back multiple times before the work was 100% finished. In the past I haven't cared because insurance covered both but since they tampered with the cameras on my truck without notifying me I wont be giving them any more business. read more

This place is hot garbage. Absolutely attrocious work on my car. Not only did these scumbags not repair my damages correctly, they also left streaks from rags, embedded into the paint, on the hood and other portions of my vehicle. The auto adjuster is a flat out criminal in the way he assessed my damages, charging my insurance an arm and a leg for shit they never worked on and not assessing the real damages he was supposed to in the first place! I had to take my vehicle to another Auto body to get the damages fixed, 2 f u c k I n times!! It's a blatant lie to call yourself "exceptional" when you mess up this bad. I was not notified during my previous calls about the payment not being received from insurance agency earlier. But was notified on delivery date and denied car delivery. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The road service is a joke. No help, no assistance, no knowledge of how to help people at all. The young man that came out to "help" did the exact opposite and is completely incompetent and "Kristin" is just as bad. Her whole agenda was to protect and move on. Had minor damage to an SUV. Choose this location listed on the progressive repair list. Repair took 7 weeks and no communication, could not get a call back. Finally had to go down in person. When I did get the vehicle back, pieces were missing and repairs were not complete. They really could not care less. Tried to raise the $$ amount due with no change in original quoted repair scope. I had my car towed by Exceptional when my car died in a bar parking lot; it was by no means the easiest location to tow a car, but Will came to my rescue and we even had a good laugh maneuvering my car out of the not to big parking spot. He was super nice and really honest. My car was involved in a hit and run accident with no fault of mine. Very frustrating!!! My insurance company suggested I get my car fixed from Exceptional. I however, scoured the internet searching for something better, called my friends etc. After finding nothing better, I went to see Robert, the owner of Exceptional. He was very friendly and explained the process to me. He also gave me a few tips about my insurance etc. I gave the car to Exceptional, but was a bit skeptical. I got my car a week later as good as new. There was no sign of the accident. The door panels had been replaced and repainted. The paint looked exactly the same as the rest of the car. Panel gaps were the same. They also cleaned the entire car, inside out. Amazing job done. I would definitely recommend it. The people at exceptional are always very nice. I've had 4 cars worked on in the past 4 years and they've always come out perfect. My only problem I would say is that they haven't been done when they say they will. Now I understand sometimes parts don't come in correctly, or some sort of mix up could happen, but all four cars? I recently had my car repaired, damage to drivers side door. My car was hit in a shopping lot and it's only 5 months old. Shop was recommended by Liberty Mutual. You would think you could depend on both, yeah no. At first I was ok with the shop and owner as well at girls at the desk. Then I read the reviews and wanted to pull back and go to another shop and an pissed I didn't follow my gut. Fine the girl at desk called me a few times to follow up but just said , hi, I'll call you next week to follow up again" Didn't give any details and it only made me that much more suspicious of this shop. I picked up my car and no one walked me over to review things nothing. The girl just pointed to where it was parked. I should have stopped there and demanded (my error). Walking to my car i noticed my drivers side passenger door not shut. I tried it and it would not shut flush. Went back in and desk clerk sent me back out the a shop worker. He agreed something didnt look right we noted it and owner called me next morning and "readjusted" something. Not to mention a cigarette was left in my car. Not a big deal but again another red flag. Treat my car as if it was yours. I want it back perfect! After getting home from the readjustment i started to walk around he entire car. Scratch on my passenger side bumper!!! This was NOT there before I dropped car at shop. They said they noticed it. Really but you didn't report it anywhere in your written report?! or verbally to owner or liberty??? Again totally unprofessional . I would never use this shop again and would never recommend it. I'm not done either going to the top at liberty. I pay thru the nose for insurance and they don't stand behind their customers.... Very disgusted in both lack of ownership... read more

They took such great care of meet my needs and were diligent in keeping updated in terms of the service. The staff, headed by Rob conducts themselves in a professional manner and are very friendly. My boyfriend went here for his car to fix his bumper after he got in an accident-- when we went the first time they said they ordered the part and to call to see if it was in next week-- when we called they couldn't remember us and couldn't find out paperwork.. But they eventually called back and told us to bring the car in -- we did and they did an amazing job -- looks just like new and they even detailed the car for free! Wow!
