There is a lot going on with the spa overflow, solar timing and low speed pump but the entire pool system has never seemed to work properly. Paul is our 3rd pool service professional in less than 2 years. They have all been frustrated and never were able to actually get the pool running the way it should. We were going through a revolving door of pool cleaning companies before we found Cortland. It's so hard to find someone who actually cares about their work. We've been using Cortland for weekly pool cleaning services for 6 months. His company is thorough and provides a report after every cleaning. Beyond the cleaning is where Cortland really came through. We had a situation where our spa light needed to be changed but came to find all the wiring and casing at the box was eroded and underground. He stayed until 9:30 at night to complete the work under a portable spotlight we set up (see pictures). I don't think there's another "pool guy" out there that would do this. If you're looking for a full service pool company, this is the best in San Diego.

There is no excuse for allowing a pool that is rarely used to turn green and murky; so murky that the bottom of the shallow end of the pool cannot be seen. The last time they were out, they spent a total of 7 minutes on the premises. We are now faced with getting estimates for how much it will cost to fix the issue and they are running in the thousands of dollars. We can't emphasize enough to stay away from this pool service.
