Worst service I've ever experienced, not to mention shoddy workmanship. Simple windshield…read morereplacement for a Honda sedan, had to be performed in the shop because it had to be re-calibrated after install. First appointment I was blown off by the tech doing the work. Waited at the shop for over 30 minutes before getting notice that he decided to return to Portland. I had this appointment scheduled weeks in advance due to my busy schedule. Technician #2 replaced the windshield but used wrong clips, broke mirror cover, and other clips broke because they were defective and was left with a very noisy ride. Windshield continuously popped and creaked once I got on the road. Thought the adhesive needed time to cure but problem didn't go away. Before all of this, the vehicle was very quiet, all you could hear was the normal road noise. I called back, had to go through warranty services now, was assigned Pablo. We had to do a ride along to confirm noises were from windshield before we could schedule another appointment to have it 'fixed'. He was deafer than a doornail and couldn't hear anything but did confirm the broken mirror cover. He said he'd order one from factory and call me when that came in to get the windshield reinstalled. Weeks went by with no communication and when I called in, they said the claim was closed, said windshield was fine and there were no issues. I called BS on that and asked to speak with regional manager, Coral, who refuses to answer her phone, let alone return a call. She needs to be fired along with Pablo. I was sent Jr. manager Jeremy, who was very eager to win back my business. After yet another ride along he confirmed the noises, actually ordered the mirror cover (which had the broken clips still inside them). He also observed the shoddy install with the wrong clips, replacing them and other ones that had broken. He performed a bunch of other tests to make sure it was sealed properly, which it was. The ride home was quiet.....at least for ten miles. The noise returned and I recorded the audio. I contacted Jeremy, explained the noise was back and sent him the audio clip. He said he could faintly hear the popping and would like to schedule yet another appointment to confirm and reinstall the windshield. I have a long message history of Jeremy promising to finally do a mobile visit to my place of work to reinstall the windshield and clips so I didn't have to waste even more time at the shop. He said he'd even bring a spare windshield just in case he broke the one on there when we pulled it off. Two days before the appointment he directed me to go to the local Honda dealership to see if they could tell me where the noise was coming from and if this was a known issue with the vehicle. I thought this was strange but called the dealership nonetheless but was told they'd charge $185/hr. for any diagnosis performed. They also informed me that there was nothing special or particularly unusual about replacing these kinds of windshields. I called Jeremy back, informed him that unless they were paying for this service, it wasn't going to happen. Later that day I received a standard message from his company that the warranty repair was complete and there were no issues with the original install. He no longer took my calls or responded to my messages. Calls to Coral remain unanswered an nobody is being accountable for this horrible install. As of now, I'm left with a ruined vehicle in that the windshield constantly makes popping/creaking noises, which will only get remedied once they reinstall the windshield properly with all the correct fasteners. Can't tell you how pissed off I am. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I've had 5 windshields replaced and I've NEVER had ANY issues with them. Zero noise, zero defects, nothing!!! I've asked for a refund and will be pursuing legal action on this. By far the worst customer service in standing by your company's product and services. Never been lied to my face like this before, then they double-down. Bunch of crooks, hope they go out of business. If you're an auto-body shop that uses these clowns, know that they're tarnishing YOUR reputation as well. You need to find someone else to contract with before it's too late!!!! Original install took place mid-January and now it's end of May and there is no resolution in sight.

The customer service goes a long way, and this place is lacking that. What the heck happened to being polite. How is it that these gals behind the desk can have so much negative attitude. I'm over rudeness, I'll go to a shop out of town to be treated with respect. Like, it takes nothing to be nice. The one gal was polite, but the one sitting at the desks attitude just trumped even the nice gals niceness.

We happen to get rock chips which required windshield replacement both times. They contacted my insurance for me and handed over the phone to answer a few questions. Justin, the branch manager was efficient, professional, and personable. Jasmine at the desk was also very helpful.

If you want to know ALOT about this business, take the time to read this review. It's long, but…read moreinformative. In July of 2024 a Schurter Trucking company truck passed me going the opposite direction and rocks just RAINED down on my car and broke my windshield and put a number of paint chips in my car. I turned around and got video of the truck. I reported this to the trucking company AND my insurance. My insurance (State Farm) said to work with the trucking company's insurer, Country Financial. I talked to them and got ONE phone call from an adjuster and then it was silence. They never, ever called me back again. So I circled back to State Farm. Well State Farm has contracted out all of their broken winshield claims to a third-party company. This is NOT State Farm, but a completely separate company that cares nothing for me or my problems. They were absolutely HORRIBLE to work with. Calls continually dropped after waiting on hold for 30 minutes or more, they were really nasty people (not friendly or helpful), an it was a nightmare navigating their phone system. In addition, my insurance agent kind of left me on my own (since they can't really give any input on the third-party decision). So I'm left to navigate getting my windshield repaired on my own. Links (the third-party company for State Farm), told me to get quotes. I got some and decided I wanted to have the work done by a dealership. Links said they would call the dealership to get confirmed pricing. They never got it (I don't believe they even tried to call) and sent me a random amount that would not come close to covering the repairs at a dealership. I wanted to get Factory Market glass as opposed to After Market Glass since there is no guarantee with After Market that the calibration would work, plus I drive on back roads for my job and needed a strong windshield (as evidenced by what happened to it already). Well, I was alone to navigate this and it took me over two months of frustration, crying, arguing with Links and getting sympathy from my insurance agent. My insurance agent did ask around to his fellow agents who their customers were using in Salem for windshield repair and I was told Justin at Speedy Glass on 12th Street. I called and talked to Justin directly. He patiently listened to what I had been through and really sympathized. He then took my VIN number to get he proper glass and got to work figuring out pricing. His cost (for glass, replacement, and calibration) was ony $200 over what I was given by Links and over $700 less than what a dealership would charge! He said it would be no problem and I was overjoyed to support his business with the price I was given. I was so happy and felt a HUGE weight lift off my shoulders. I just had the work done at Speedy Glass last Friday and I am SO happy. I feel safe driving down the road and Justin's work is worth EVERY penny. If you want someone who really cares about you and does STELLAR work -- CALL OR GO SEE JUSTIN. You won't be sorry.

While at the concert, some lowlife broke into her vehicle by breaking the right rear door glass. Portland police wouldn't even entertain taking a report because the scumbag politicians allow losers to commit crimes on tax payers with absolutely zero consequences! Shocking right? I made an online appointment with Safelight and this is the closest location to Corvallis. Upon arrival, they informed my daughter that the technician was out on a job and would return shortly. Once the technician returned to the shop, they constantly kept my daughter informed on the progress of the repair. The glass was replaced with the identical factory tint and they cleaned up all of the broken glass that they could find. The window operated properly from the driver controls and the door control. There was no noise opening and closing window. Being a technician all my life, I was so happy with the work that was done and greatly appreciate the job that this Safelight location performed! I highly recommend this location for any vehicle glass repair or replacement! Thank you for a fine job!

Time will tell if the seal holds, but I have no reason to believe it won't. He was efficient, tidy, and cleaned up after himself properly. All good, just indifferent to what follows ... My issue was that their website quoted me a lower price in email than they wanted to charge me on the day. I emailed corporate to clear things up before the day of installation. No reply. Then I engaged their website's Customer Service via chat, for forty-two minutes, to no avail -- they said I needed to take it up with the location scheduled to install my windshield, i.e. 422 River Road N, Keizer, not Corporate who run the website which quoted me. I correctly assumed that wasn't going to be a good idea and insisted they escalate to a supervisor, which they finally agreed to. Nothing came of it. So my last recourse was to take it up with tech Shawn on arrival before he started working on my instal. Naturally enough it wasn't his problem, so he called his office. His office claimed I had misunderstood the quote, that labour had to be added -- even though my quote came with "professional installation" included. On threat of an honestly bad review if they didn't honor the quote, they backed off and adjusted the price to match my quote, a $50 difference. Not a single person from top to bottom of this organization took responsibility for resolving the difference in what I was quoted to what they intended to charge me. I'm still giving this branch four stars because it wasn't really their problem to resolve, but I'm holding back one star because they too didn't step up to take ownership of Safelite's mistake, when nobody further up the line would -- instead fobbing me off with a BS hidden labour charge. It took the threat of an honest, poor review to get an adjustment made.
