Outstanding customer service. As they say, 3rd time's the charm. I had another company's helpers either not accept the move or when they did leave me sitting around waiting while they cancelled and didn't notify me. I found TNT on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. They were finishing up a move nearby and offered to come right after. They were amazingly communicative, keeping me up to date on their ETA. Once they arrived they got to work immediately and had a huge piece of furniture moved in no time. They worked exceptionally well together and were mindful of the piece (antique) to ensure it wasn't damaged in the move and that it was exactly where I wanted it. Absolutely highly recommend this team. Added bonus, they were within my budget! Will gladly use them anytime (and I move a lot of stuff). read more

They came in and moved my items from my unit into my storage quickly and didn't sit on the clock to run up the charges. They didn't break anything and even discarded items I no longer wanted. They packed my items in my storage unit so well that I didn't know I would have extra room left to fit additional items. They're definitely recommended and worth the value. read more

I contacted TNT movers to move our office furniture to our new location next door about a month in advance. They gave me the cheapest rate among all of those I contacted. They called me the day before to confirm. The day of the move they called to let me know they were running a bit late due to traffic. I waited and they arrived with all their equipment and worked very fast. I noticed they were very careful with moving huge furniture. It took about 2 hours to get done. These guys were awesome! A couple weeks ago I had to move my grandpa into an apartment, and couldn't find anyone to help last minute after some family canceled. I scrambled around last minute and everyone wanted to charge sooooooo much for the help. TNT was the only company that called back with a reasonable price, and flexibility. They were a godsend! I needed movers at the last minute and TNT came to my rescue. They quoted me a competitive hourly price and it was for three men instead of two, which you don't see much when moving out of a small one-bedroom apartment. They showed up on time and were very patient when I wasn't quite ready to have certain boxes taken down to the truck. My couch, coffee table, and a few other things needed to be junked, so the guys had a fun time occupying themselves with throwing stuff off the balcony and into the dumpster while I finished taping up boxes. Loading the truck took no time at all, travel was quick (Rogers Park to Bucktown), and unloading was like a dream because my new building has an elevator. They arrived before me and by the time I got there, they had everything staged in the lobby, all ready to be loaded into the elevator. The living space in my new place is a big open kitchen/living room floor plan and several boxes were just labeled "living room" for stuff we weren't sure what to do with yet. Everything else was clearly labeled "kitchen," bathroom, "office," etc. My one quibble with TNT was they put everything in the living room, regardless of how it was labeled. My dresser for the office is in the middle of the living room. They did put my desk in the office as requested, but I asked that it be placed under the window and instead they left it standing up on its end right inside the doorway. I think this was probably done in the interest of getting everything off the truck quickly, which I do appreciate when the clock is ticking. They worked really well together as a team and the guys were super friendly. Overall, I was very pleased with my TNT experience. Very good value, nice staff, they took good care of my stuff (nothing broken or damaged), and their response time when requesting an estimate was great. Tony and his crew were awesome! They arrived at the earlier end of our time slot and were ready to go right away. We had 2 stops and 4 movers- the 1st being a large storage unit far from the elevator and then a 2 bedroom apartment. They were able to get all of this done, unloaded, unmount my television, put all of our furniture back together, etc. in under 6 hours. They provided a great rate to begin with and no hidden/extra fees. There was no damage to my items. They were also very nice/fun to work with. I would 100% use them again over any of those larger moving companies in Chicago. read more

I will start with the positive: They had excellent communication, showed up when they said they would and were friendly. Now on the the negative: They were not careful AT ALL with my boxes and furniture. The even put my boxes in their truck upside down, causing olive oil to leak through two of my boxes and leaving me with a broken food scale, meat thermometer and me having to throughly wash every single kitchen utensil I owned. They tried to make it right. They took a little money off my bill. However, it wasn't until after they left that I realized the damage the oil caused. In addition to that, many of my boxes were left dented. Now on to my furniture. Again, it was not until we started arranging it that I noticed ALL the damage. There are dents in my bed headboard, scratches/dents on my kitchen chairs, chips on my cocktail table, etc. Sadly, I would not recommend this company. I gave them two stars solely based on their communication and reliability. read more

Let me compare this company with a different one we used a few years ago to give yelpers a quick comparison in service. The last company came 15 min early, were quick and efficient, wrapped every single furniture up and moved without a single stop or break. They were a well oiled machine and it cost an arm and a leg to work with them. TnT on the other hand are like the neighborhood guys that have been doing this for years and do it well, just not like a machine. Came about 10 min late and people were smoking while waiting for everyone to arrive. They came with an extra guy and Tony told me it would cost about $30 more per hour since there was 4 of them now. At first I was not ok with this as it's not the agreed upon price and workers, but after seeing them move it probably saved me money in the long run as 4 guys moving stuff was way faster than 3. Once we met face to face everyone was very professional. Tony and his guys are awesome and you could tell they have been doing this for many years. They wrapped up the glass but everything else was just moved and handled well. I'd like to say this, with TNT movers, don't expect a 5star restaurant experience. They are more like the neighborhood hotdog and fries place everyone goes to for a good meal for a good price. On a side note, the 4th guy was a kid, his name was Carlos. Very strong and was able to carry even the heaviest of boxes, but Carlos if you are reading this, attitude matters. You were dropping boxes on top of each other without much care, your demeanor towards your coworkers were at time dismissive and at worst disrespectful. My wife, who had very high praise for the work you all did, was very put off with how you carried yourself and acted. As she put it, it's like you didn't want to be here but were forced to. All in all, for the price these guys are epic. They moved a 10x20 storage locker full of stuff from boxes, couches, bags and loose items and moved them into my home in 3 hours flat. That is absolutely mind boggling fast. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

They said they'd take apart things and move everything out - which they did and I was really impressed. Then when we got to my new home, they had left all the screws on the counter of the old place - no apologies but accusing me of leaving them there. They then proceeded to "put together" my furniture, breaking a dresser, and leaving screws off my bed frames that I found later on the ground. Not only that, they lost the bolts to a treadmill they had taken apart. Tony said he'd replace the cost and They haven't contacted me since. It's been a week and a half now. Don't use this company - they ran out of wrapping for my furniture also. Ridiculous. read more

This company is great and they worked their butts off. I had a million boxes, they ended up doing 2 trips a day apart. First move, the crew Alex, West and Mike were hard working, efficient and nice. They were nervous about telling me about having to do two separate moves but I already figured that might be the case, so it wasn't a huge issue. They handled it and I was glad it was done so well. The next day, 2nd crew, Tony, Carlos, and Mike showed up ready to go and did not stop until the rest of my crap was unloaded in my new place. again, nice, hardworking and efficient. TNT did a great job, They got their 15 minutes early and got to work, i would've gave them 5 stars but I had to go back to my old place and get all my son items out his close, his two big boxes and bags with clothes, one gentlemen stated my daughter told him to get his bed and tv stand with tv, but they never checked the close so that was a bummer for me because my car not big enough to put his items in my car. but other then that they were guys, I will recommend them, Just make sure everything is out the closets or have the closet doors open read more

They are very accomodating . I wasn't sure if they can help me dispose of my big furnitures but they had no problem accomodating my request. They are also very good at adapting to unforeseen circumstances. They are very transparent with their pricing and has no surprise or hidden fees. They also reply very fast usually within 30 min. I really wanted to like these guys, but... The guys themselves seemed hardworking, decent, and friendly. They arrived quite late after they got delayed and stuck in traffic from a second job (ours was their third that day) and raised our pricing since they had a fourth guy with them after we had initially agreed on three. We were able to meet halfway regarding this, so not a dealbreaker, but something I am now seeing in other reviews as well. The service during our move was okay. They worked fast, accommodated any requests, and were thorough. However, they broke a lamp shade, made a small dent on my desk, and I found a significant scratch on my dresser top as well. Tony gave me a small discount to accommodate for the broken lamp. However, the morning after my move, my queen bed that Tony had un-assembled and reassembled completely collapsed when I sat down. I am a very small person (only 5 ft. tall) so this should NOT have happened. This is a unique bedroom set my husband bought years ago that he loves, and we had recently gotten it polished and spruced up by a wood refinishing company (that was not cheap!) right before the move. That day, I called Tony telling him he did not re-assemble it correctly and could he please come and fix it as now I had no bed to sleep on. He seemed very uninterested, and stated that he had a full day of moves and was nowhere near my area that day. He said he would get back to me later that evening after he looked at his schedule to see when he could come by. I waited for a response, and I soon realized Tony had no intention of calling me back OR fixing my bed that he broke. After three days of sleeping on my floor on a blanket and not hearing back from Tony despite multiple attempts to reach out and resolve the issue like ADULTS, I called my wood refinishing guy who had come out before. He told me that the end portion was assembled upside down, missing screws, and was not properly supporting the frame, which is why it had collapsed. He fixed it for me within an hour and I had to, of course, pay him for his services to fix somebody else's mistake. So...next time, we'll go with the professionals. read more

They were very responsive with texting, but changed my appointment twice and arrived an hour early. The movers left furniture on its side that I could not flip over myself and had to contact family members to help me afterwards. They had 45 minutes left on the clock and should have done a final walkthrough to make sure that I had what I needed, as it was pretty clear that I was one single person. When you have no one to help you and have to hire people to help you, you hope that it will be done with excellent customer service. I guess part of that is on me for not asking for that. read more

DO NOT use this moving company!!! My fiancé posted on Yelp looking for movers to move to the city. Tony reached out and he booked him 1 and a half months ahead of time. Leading up to the date he confirmed with Tony multiple times, sent emails, and both my fiancé and I received calls 24 hours before our scheduled move date confirming that they would be there. The day of the move Tony and TNT moving company never showed up. We called Tony and TNT multiple times and no one answered. Please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT book this moving company. They will tell you what you want to hear just to leave you high and dry. read more
