Henry did my dip manicure both times and Mia did my pedicures, and they're both fantastic; I will definitely request them both for future visits. I love coming here! My nail tech, Lynn is a magician! She always does great work! My nails never break or chip when she's given me dip, shellac or acrylic nails. I've also had great work by Leo and Nina. The salon is always clean and staff is always friendly. I do recommend an appointment. Even though the place is huge and they have lots of staff, they will accommodate walk-ins but you might have to wait. They offer two alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages too. Looking for a new nail salon, I found this place while Yelping throughout Houston. If you are a new customer, then do not forget to check in for the Yelp app 10% discount! Lush & Co Spa is decorated luxuriously compared to other nail salons within this location, and the space is clean and vast in size with numerous equipment and seats. It is even more inviting with the somewhat full bar beneath the glowing Lush & Co sign. Alcoholic mixed, soda, beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary but limited two per person during the visit. As soon as you enter, the receptionist is at the left with the bar directly front. To your right, there is the nail drying station and the nail polish wall at the end. There are 16 pedicure massage chairs with one TV on the opposite walls of each other. The manicure station has about 18 chairs. I believe there is a private nail room for those who are interested in having a little group nail salon day. Prices are decent - similar price of the other salons around the area for competition. After I signed in the paper sheet with the services I wanted, I went to the nail polish wall to pick out a color for my pedicure. Promptly, I was taken to the pedicure station and was seated with a water on my right handle. After a few minutes, my technician arrived but do not remember her name. She made a few comments here and there and asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, was not pushy with anything. Honestly, I did not know about the complimentary drinks until I saw two mojitos being handed to the customers in front. Neither my or my friend's technicians informed us about it, so we had to ask what that was all about. The water is not hot at all! There is a lady who carries a kettle of hot water and will pour it into the water at the pedicure chairs, but that is such a hassle. They need it fixed because the temperature cools over time. My friend's technician finished her pedicure quite fast, I guess because the technician is the youngest. My technician took her time, which was illustrated through her face - big plus for me. First time here, I arrived 15 minutes before their close time for eyebrow service. One of the workers informed they were closed for the day. I found that to be an annoyance looking back the other day I arrived within an hour but noticed a customer getting some kind of nail service 15 minutes before closing. Overall; Customer service: It's nice, they are trying to give you the drinks and luxury feel. Sometimes they do inform you about such things and don't. The people here are all very nice, but for $40 I expect at least a good polish job. I've attached pictures of the uneven lines and the polish that doesn't cover the nail down to the cuticle line. Lynne usually does a decent job, but this time she was in a rush to leave early and did not let the top coat dry all the way (I was there at 1pm). 5 of my nails had air bubbles under the top coat the next day and they were chipped very badly within 4 days. I called and went in at the first chance I got, which was a week later, and the manager was very rude and refused to fix them because it had been a full week. I tried showing him pictures with time stamps but he didn't even look because he didn't want to deal with it. I finally got him to agree to redoing the top coat of 4 of the nails. They looked so much better and I told him that I appreciated him fixing them, only to get a blank stare and an "ok". I am completely blown away that a place as nice as it is has terrible customer service and refuses to fix something that was caused by their terrible quality of service. From the moment I sat down, I felt super uncomfortable. The woman doing my nails kept asking me if I wanted her to fix my eyebrows. I said no multiple times but she kept insisting. She then points to my sister and says "her eyebrows are pretty and skinny. yours are bushy and ugly." Then throughout the rest of the visit, she kept laughing with the woman next to her after she pointed things out on my body. She then said "you need to stop biting your cuticles" I told her that I don't bite my cuticles. I also work with my hands a lot, so they tend to be dry. She then continued to aggressively pull my hand to show the woman next to her my cuticles and continued to laugh. But keep in mind, she was aggressively filing my nails to the point where my cuticles were bleeding. I also have a birthmark on my thumb. She kept doing the same thing as before and laughing about it. While my nails were under the light, she pulled up my one hand and showed my hand to a bunch of people around her and laughed, then pulled out my other hand from under the light and pointed at my birthmark and was laughing and kept giving me nasty looks. I ultimately did not tip and complained to the woman at the front desk. I never not tip someone, but this whole experience made me feel super uncomfortable and upset the whole time I was there. I have been here several times before but will never be returning back, and I'm extremely disappointed with the people that work there and the management. Also, I went with three other people. Sorely disappointed in my last visit. I live I. lA but when I visit Houston, I visit Executive Nails. This last visit was so disappointing though. The manicurist did a shitty job (no way around saying this) and tired to fix it by filing down my newly added gel bit only made it worse. My pedicurist made my toes look like the pedicure was weeks old. When I complained to the person checking me out, he wanted me stay for them to fix both after I'd already been there 2 hours. When I told him I couldn't and told him I'd be back for him to fix them, he said, yes, they'd only fix the few that needed them, not all. I don't understand why I had to argue with him to get him to say he'd fix all and basically make both fingernails and toenails right. It was such an ordeal and so expensive I just said forget it and will find a new place. At first I walked in thinking this place would have great service because we were greeted by an enthusiastic hostess asking us what we wanted, then guiding us to our chairs. I was wrong. My mom and I got the regular pedicure which included the massage. My technician didn't greet me, only pulled and pushed my feet in and out of the water to communicate. She was talking to the other nail technicians and seemed so distracted that she actually hurt me a couple of times on accident. She also cut close to the skin and scraped my cuticles back to where they became too sensitive for the hot towel she rubbed on my toes at the end. My mom got color in addition to her pedicure and her technician constantly had to reapply because it kept getting rubbed off on accident. Her technician was rough and rushed as well, and it all seemed like they just wanted to get in and out. Uncomfortable experience for my first time here; I won't be coming back. I just moved to this area and was looking for a great spot to get my nails done. I don't mean to brag, but I'm kind of a nail snob and want my nails done a certain way. I got sat with Rachel, and she was awesome! She did my nails beautifully. The shape was really on point. While I was here I noticed they do hair, too! Since I was there pretty early, she was able to fit me in for highlights and cut! Dana is experienced and personable. I love my new hair do! Figured since I was in the pampering mood, I might as well go for a pedi, too. Let's just say I spent over half my Saturday being pampered and it was wonderful. I've been here twice now for manicures. My first manicure was excellent and lasted a full week with standard polish. The second manicure was done by "Jame" and chipped after a couple days and was not very pleasant... He rushed the manicure and did not seem to grasp what "shape" I wanted my nails. He left sharp corners, which I repeatedly asked him to round, to no avail. Even after the manicure was done and I expressed further unhappiness (which I would normally not do, but I was pretty pissed off at the idea of paying for something he did so quickly and to my extreme dissatisfaction) they sent him back to "fix" it. So he filed my nails with drying paint on them...not a great idea. He ended up smudging the polish on a nail and painted over it poorly...really? I really would not recommend him at all; he tried to tell me that fake nails are easier to file than (my) real nails...uh,sorry bro...? Even another employee approached me afterwards to "shine up" the polish after he "fixed" them, by applying another top coat. Sorry for the rant, but just know that if you get this guy, you may be in for a battle trying to get across what you want, let alone receive what you would usually expect from a manicure. For now, they're two stars, but I'll come back and get someone else and see if they're as good as the first visit. read more

Decided to give this place a try for a pedicure. I went with my sis and were immediately greeted by a staff member. We got ourselves comfortable while waiting for our techs to bring out their tools. We were offered drinks, but I wouldn't recommend their wines. They're not the good kinds, which I should've expected, but I still decided to get a glass anyway. My tech was Jennifer. She was nice, but we didn't talk much. She was heavy handed, which made me pull away a few times. She cut really close to the skin under my nails and filed it down way too much. It felt uncomfortable. I originally chose 2 colors, but when she applied the first color it looked nothing like the one I chose so I just ended up choosing the 2nd color. The application of the color is inconsistent. Some parts of the nail you would see one layer and then other parts of the nail you would see a 2nd layer. I got smudges as well because once she finished my pedicure, she rushed me out! I wasn't allowed to sit there. She put my shoes on for me and told me to go to the drying station. My nails got smudged when she forced my shoes on my foot. I felt totally rushed. Overall, I don't see myself coming back here. My pedicure experience isn't something I would pay to come back for. I'd rather drive farther and pay more, but at least be satisfied with the results. read more

I really wanted to like Executive Nails (Lush) as the salon is beautiful, but unfortunately I had the most painful manicure there. I went with a group of 8 women for a pre-wedding bride/bridesmaid mani/pedi party. I had a regular pedicure and powder dip manicure. The pedicure was fine, but the gentleman doing my manicure (David) was not skilled at all with the Dremel type tool. He managed to tear up all of my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding. I was in searing pain during and after my manicure, and now (5 days later), I have scabs lining all of my cuticles. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this salon due to the injuries sustained here. I had to hide my hands for all of the pictures on the wedding day and was very self-conscious of them all day. The pricing was outrageously expensive for the lack of skill and attention. read more

New to town I hadn't really found a place that I could feel comfortable getting my pamper-on...and I don't mean diapers. So I found Lush & Co on Yelp and once I read there was a FULL and complementary bar, I knew I just had to give it a try. So I call on a Saturday morning just knowing I wouldn't be able to get an appointment for the same day, and to my surprise they tell me I can come in a couple of hours no problem. I arrive and immediately they welcome me and show me the colors available (conveniently on a nail chart) and take me to my pedicure chair. Now, I believe they're having some issues with the hot water in these chairs, but before I could even mention that the water was rather lukewarm they brought over a kettle with hot water and fixed the problem. Since this seems to be a high end salon, they probably need to fix that. While I was getting settled for my pedicure the nail tech came over and began my manicure. She was very professional and when I said short please, she cut them down as asked without any hesitation. You'd be surprised how hard it is to get some people to understand what SHORT means.
