Super similar vibe to seven brew. It's a little drive through with lots of different drink and some food options. I got a cold brew with cold foam and it was good. Super large for a small size. My friend for a coffee and it was good and she also got a breakfast burrito which she loved. This place is the most unhygienic, rude, unsanitary place I have ever been. Not only is staff, Especially Candace extremely rude with bad customer service skills, the coffee is awful and the food not fresh. The muffins the advertise as fresh are really from Sam's... their ice is full of mold, evidenced by mold found in my cup, they are disgusting in general. Even if it were my worst enemy I would tell them to steer clear of this awful place. Let me add they don't care about HONEST criticism and the owners deeply speaks for itself as rather than contacting for details they went on to attack me LOL again a horrid business and this location specifically is terrible, the ice machine is molded and never cleaned. I don't care what this horrible place has to say to say to cover their asses, you are putting your health at risk to go here. read more

Small parking lot, if you blink you will miss it. Drive up coffee spot. Menu choices are delightful. Staff friendly. I stopped by Exit 11 for the first time. I have driven past it a million times and finally came for an afternoon pick me up. They were out of a seasonal drink my daughter saw on their outdoor menu which was sad but she got a vanilla steamer which she enjoyed. I got a s'mores latte which I didn't get a real s'mores flavor but it was still tasty. I'd like to try the bourbon vanilla next time. read more

I, shockingly, had never tried Exit 11 before. I only live 8 minutes away, so it was a no-brainer to at least give it one shot. This is similar to a 7 Brew (no inside, drive-through only, flavored selection of coffees and energy drinks). I am not huge on coffee (I crave it some days, today was not one of those days), so I got one of their "Rave Energy Teas". The flavor was called Shipwreck and had notes of mango, coconut and cream. It was decently good, maybe a bit too sweet, but very similar to a 7 Brew drink. The staff were friendly enough and the price was affordable, so I'd possibly come back. read more

Such a welcoming and convenient little spot! Their drive thru system is quick and easy, and they have lanes on both sides of the building for efficiency. Every employee I've ever interacted with here has gone above and beyond with kindness and high quality service. Their menu provides a great selection of coffees to choose from, as well as fun seasonal offerings. I recently tried their iced s'mores latte, and it did not disappoint! Very sweet and tasted like dessert, but I appreciated that I could still enjoy plenty of the coffee flavors. I've tried similar drinks from other places that end up just tasting like chocolate milk, so I was impressed with this one! My boyfriend always orders their RAVE energy teas. Many different flavor combinations to choose from! His personal favorite is Nervous Breakdown, which includes blackberry, lime, raspberry, and strawberry, and it's super refreshing. read more

Everyone here is always so nice and helpful. The service is fast, so no matter the length of the line you're guaranteed to get through quick. I really like the fact that they have so many flavor options and that they have fun seasonal specials. The current one for my visitor was a raspberry truffle in time for Valentine's Day. There's no need to yell when taking orders, I was literally right there. My latte tasted burnt and watered down at the same time somehow... The shop itself looked very dingy and not very clean. Used to be a favorite of mine, but the quality at this location at least has really fallen over the last year. The people that they have been hiring do not do their jobs well. I absolutely LOVE this place! I get coffee here at least once a week, sometimes more, and it's awesome. Their own just plain coffee is great but if you want a latte, they make their own syrups and have organic options, Their pumpkin spice latte is so good and doesn't leave your teeth all scummy like other places, probably because it's made with real pumpkin. The breakfast burrito is very good and their cinnamon rolls are THE BEST. In summer I like to get a coconut latte made with coconut milk and it is so refreshing! I also love that for their small size, you can choose 1or 2 shots of espresso and they don't charge you extra if you want 2 shots! Unheard of at other places! If you're looking for a place to get coffee and sit for awhile, this is not the place since it's a drive thru, but the coffee is great, food does NOT disappoint, and the workers are always incredibly kind. How they manage to produce great quality products in that small of a space. 2. How it was so cheap and also so good. Cheaper than an equally sized burrito from Taco Bell. 3. How it came out so quick and it tasted so fresh. Found my new weekly spot. Strongly suggest you try it out. I've been coming here pretty regularly since starting a new job nearby. I prefer to patronize local coffeeshops instead of chains, but many don't have drive thrus to make for fast morning stops. What is not to love about Exit 11? The drinks and food are delicious, I have been at least once a week this summer if not more. Their cold brew with cold brew cubes, lattes, iced tea are all regular orders for me. Their egg bites, croissant, and cinnamon roll are great. The people are friendly, they remember us. Stopped in this morning for the first time while driving thru St. Charles and really appreciated first Lu the menu options including nice teas (London Fog- thank you for offering!) and lattes with multiple house made syrups and milk options. Plus they have a nice menu with reasonably priced items that include healthy options! Secondly, I was so pleased when I asked for a recommendation on latte at the window and the young woman quickly asked how I felt about lavender and then recommended a lavender or lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which I ordered (hot) along with veggie egg bites. The service was quick, the food was nice and hot and the latte was excellent. I really liked the egg bites- you get two and they're full of fresh peppers and cheese and tasted delicious- just what I needed! I don't live super close to this coffee shop, but I would go out of my way again to stop there. It's is worth the visit. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures before eating everything. read more

Goated spot. Coffee is fire and the HamEgg will make you believe in Jesus again after a lifetime of turning away from God due to a strict religious childhood. Candice is adorable and probably the nicest human alive, I would believe it if someone told me she's never made a single mistake in her entire life. I go probably 3-5 times a week, and before talking to Candice every day I was a convicted felon, living a life of crime - doomed to end up in the hospital, prison, or worse. Angela Garland is the co-founder and CEO of Exit 11 Coffee. A longtime St. Louis resident and lifelong entrepreneur, Angela launched Exit 11 Coffee in her 50s alongside her husband with a clear vision: create a locally owned coffee company that delivers fast service without sacrificing freshness or quality. It being out of commission naturally limited the number of things on the menu we could order. We were only told that we couldn't order anything that required a deep fryer, not given a modified menu or anything. I started going through each item and imagining how it might be prepared, but I couldn't muster the psychological bandwidth to continue. Hit my Cash App if you appreciate the amount of unpaid emotional labor I was compelled to contribute. It occurred to me that I might just get a burger and a side salad, but then I saw that they carry a club sandwich. I love a good club sandwich, and I figured it might make for a light, refreshing alternative, given the weather. There's an option to get a cup of soup for $1.50 extra as a side with your sandwich (no, they didn't offer to eat the charge), and I figured that might go well with my sandwich. It was more beef than anything else. A large bowl of it might actually be too much food. (I'd still eat it, natch.) The overall flavor profile was along the lines of a good french onion soup. It was a reminder that I need to be ordering soup in restaurants more often. I wish the club sandwich was cut into little triangles and fanned out on the plate in some elaborate configuration, like at a place where rich old ladies have lunch, but I guess that wouldn't have been in keeping with the theme. Instead, it was served on the world's thickest Texas toast, with the world's dullest steak knife protruding from its center. This sounds like hyperbole, but I may have honestly been served the equivalent of half a loaf of bread. It was much more bread than I required, but at least it was fresh and delicious, as were all the other ingredients. Turkey used for sandwiches is almost never remarkable, but this was surprisingly great, as good as anything you'd get served as an entree unto itself. Nothing about this place suggests that it would have such good food, but it just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. The decor, the overall vibe and the lack of hospitality might not be for everyone, but don't let that deter you.

I don't know that the peppers added much. I'd sub them out for something more interesting, like a salsa, a sour cream or a guacamole, maybe something with more of a temperature or textural contrast. The egg was weirdly rectangular and artificial-seeming, like maybe they're frozen pucks that they just microwave. I got an iced Coconut Latte, a seasonal item, and I'm not sure what was going on with that. It was good, but it didn't taste anything like coconut, to the point where I'm not sure if they gave me the right drink. The girl who took my order may not have heard what I said. People who work the register in these places get nervous when a big group walks in, like they're not going to be able to take everyone's order in time and, as a result, they're going to get let go--which would violate the terms of their parole. I can sympathize with their plight. I would never intentionally cause someone to get locked up just because they gave me the wrong drink.

If you are looking for the best coffee in St. Louis, I promise you won't be disappointed. This drive-thru has so many things for you to try and, if it's not the drinks that keep you coming back, the baristas will. These are some of the kindest people I've come to know in the city and you will leave with a smile on your face every time. They are also super quick but the quality never falters. There was already a healthy crowd of people who apparently weren't runners, based on their physique (lol jk), and several people from our running group arrived after we did. People apparently like this place. The vibe is quirky and independent, with a lot of random decor, including a Blues Brothers poster and a sign declaring that the Teletubbies are welcome, and a lot of local-interest signage and artwork. People in the City love to remind themselves that they're in St. Louis. You never see anything like that in my native West County. Truth be told, I wouldn't even go into a coffee shop unless someone else suggested it. It costs less at QT. But I figured when in Rome. I wasn't about to get a sandwich, in part because I wasn't hungry, and in part because I'm always wary of food from places that specialize in coffee, but I figured I'd try one of their fancy coffee drinks instead of just a regular coffee. I went with something called a Zippity Do Da, or something to that effect. It was a latte, served hot or cold (I of course went with hot), with... if I'm not mistaken, peanut butter, honey and mocha. I liked the idea that there was a peanut butter element, in part because I couldn't imagine what that would be like. Peanut butter, even the welfare version you get at Aldi, is at least somewhat viscous. Was this going to be more like a milkshake? That could be gross, and grossly caloric, canceling out any benefit of my training run. Of course I was going to drink it anyway. Turns out that the peanut butter was the element that was least prominent in the overall taste of this drink, though you could in fact taste it. I found it impressive that, if you concentrated hard enough, you could detect elements of peanut butter, honey and mocha. It's like when you purchase a fancy bottle of wine, from, perhaps, the aforementioned Aldi, and you really can taste bits of oak, vanilla, campfire and a slight nuttiness. No Diddy. These people are true coffee artists, the cafe equivalent of people who work at Subway. I'm at the nearby shoe store every once in a while, so maybe I'll return. I might even cop a bagel.

Anyway, no one would believe that anything here is older than a year or two. It all new-looking. It has a certain sheen to it, like somewhere where you'd pay $40 for a Yankee Candle at Plaza Frontenac. As I arrived today with members of my running group, an unhoused gentleman was being, erm, questioned out front by 12. He may have spent the night in the lobby of this apartment building. It just so happened to be right as Crema was opening. Did they report him to the authorities? Should they have given him a job sweeping the sidewalk out front like the wise old neighborhood drunk in the movie Do the Right Thing, the lovable old James? Instead of bringing him downtown, the police merely confiscated his drugs and sent him on his way. (I hope he wasn't late for work.) I wonder what they do with those drugs. I've seen the movie Bad Lieutenant. I didn't know whether to be disappointed or relieved that this place doesn't carry a burrito. Its appearance is more along the lines of a torta, the hefty sandwiches from which portly Hispanic girls get their nickname. Alas, it was just okay. The croissant was ginormous but of middling quality. If it were the same size and as rich as the croissants at Comet Coffee, it would be roughly 10,000 calories, so that may have been for the best. The bacon tasted oddly similar to a Ball Park hot dog, in both a good and bad way. They give you plenty of it, but I suspect they still come out ahead. The eggs would have been fine if they'd been salted. In theory, the salt from the bacon and the cheese would have carried over to the eggs, but I don't know if I have a refined enough palate for that to be the case. I approve of a Breakfast Jack, after all. I'm willing to accept the fact that the Horchata Latte may have just been a bad order on my part. I may have needed to specify some type of syrup so that it was sweeter than it was and I didn't realize that, because what do I know about fancy coffee drinks? Or I might just not like horchata, with which I have minimal experience. They carry a gooey butter cake latte, and I should have gone with that. It was calling my name the way crack calls the guy they called the cops on. Which brings me to the Gooey Butter Cake Edges, which caught my eye in the pastry case, as if my sandwich and drink alone weren't caloric enough. I like gooey butter cake (natch), and I like the idea of "cake edges." Would this be along the lines of those brownies that are all corners? It kinda was, except that the crust wasn't quite as crisp as you'd like it to be. I don't think these were the actual edges of a gooey butter cake. They may have just been leftover cake batter baked into strips. It was still delicious, because it was gooey cake. The actual gooey butter cake may have been better. Eventually, I'd run out of money and be forced to live out of doors, perhaps in a tent in the park across the street. It would almost be worth it. Kentzo Koffee is not without its flaws, but it's a good place to have a coffee ("koffee") and a light breakfast. It's not clear to me how long it's been around, but it's possible they have a few issues that just need ironing out. A guy from my running group who lives nearby was running down the litany of businesses that have been in this space. Is this location cursed? Was a Native American killed there? This is no fault of Kentzo, but there was some confusion as to whether the breakfast bowl comes with eggs. I could have sworn that it doesn't and that the menu made this clear, but a few members of my group, who are girls with whom I'm not inclined to outwardly disagree, insisted that it does. It seems like it should anyway, right? What's a breakfast bowl without eggs? You could just as easily have such a bowl for lunch. That's unacceptable. This place had umpteen baristas, including one dressed like she was working for tips in a place frequented by bikers (she looked amazing), but they were barely keeping up with orders. This was fine with me. I didn't have anywhere to be, and my drink--an iced vanilla latte, natch--was good when it finally came out. But this is not the kind of place to stop and grab a quick drink on your way to work. There was only one guy making food, as far as I can tell, and he was on it. He made my Breakfast Bowl w/ Bacon and brought it out before I got my drink. He warned me that the bowl was hot, but he was holding it with his bare hand. He must think that I'm actually *from* Maplewood. I had to have the girl who handed me my drink fetch my cinnamon roll. Were they supposed to hand it to me when I ordered? Were they hoping I'd just forget? The cinnamon roll was cold, like maybe it sat in a refrigerator overnight. It occurred to me that it almost certainly wasn't made that day, but it didn't seem particularly stale or prepackaged. It cost more than I paid for most meals in the pre-Brandon era, and it occurred to me that they could just give you a bit less, not charge as much, and I'd be fine with that. Did I devour the whole thing in a few bites anyway, like I just got out of jail? Yes. Yes, I did.

The counter was filled with lots of delicious looking treats, and they were hard to resist. I ordered an iced drink with bischoff cookies, and it was exactly what i wanted. They have non dairy options like almond, oat, and coconut, which was great! There were just a few tables inside, and several outside as well. Qawha Time is a relatively new place, but it is a welcome addition to St. Louis County. I can't wait to return and enjoy a treat with my coffee very soon!

She did however check with me on what type of milk I wanted which was nice. I ordered my Chai tea and almost immediately had order regret because I saw the sign advertising their special that sounded awesome. Nonetheless my tea was good. I took my drink to go but there is seating available.

I didn't even have to specify how many pumps of what to put in there, they just did it and it was perfect. The right temperature, I didn't have to wait to drink it. The empanada was piping hot, so I had to let it cool and unfortunately couldn't try it before my appt. Next time tho.
