Coffee, botany! This is a cute, corner, coffee shop with a gorgeous patio that always has something going on. When I went on a sunday morning they had some vendors out for a mini market which was really cool. The interior is full of locally crafted home goods from candles to pottery to artwork. The latte was good. And, crushed ice! Not many places serve their lattes over crushed ice. In any case, maypop is an off the beaten path gem serving up a heck of a lot more than cups Of caffeine!

Maypop in Webster Groves is the definition of a hidden gem. It's part coffee shop, part plant haven, and part neighborhood hangout--and it nails the vibe on all fronts. The patio is gorgeous with sunny yellow chairs, greenery everywhere, and string lights that make it feel like you've stepped into a rom-com. Inside, you'll find shelves of teas, pottery, and local goods, plus the cutest wall of Polaroids of everyone's pets (love this touch). They even have a quiet zone Hearth Room for those days when you want to sip in peace or get some work done without distractions. I grabbed a latte and it was perfection--smooth, creamy, and topped with beautiful latte art. They make their own syrups (honey lavender, cardamom, seasonal flavors), which takes everything up a notch. I popped in for coffee this time, but I'm already planning to come back for brunch and cocktails. Between the plants, the patio, the food, the drinks, and the overall vibe...this place is basically everything I need. Webster Groves - worth the trip if you're looking for a beautiful spot to relax, catch up, or just treat yourself. Follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, and Beli for more STL coffee, brunch, and hidden gem finds!

A friend of mine raved about their matcha so I had to check it out! It was worth the drive. I stopped by here after exams. and it was a great way to spend the last day of classes. Would be one of my go-to spots for matcha!

Stopped by here in between two events and grabbed a Decaf Chai Tea to go. Can't really speak to the ambiance, but the outdoor tables look like they'd be really lovely during good weather. The tea was good. The service was good. Wouldn't mind stopping back by when I've got more time to check it out better.

Cute coffee shop with a nursery attached. Not many food options but there are pastries to curve hunger. Tip: Upstairs they have a quiet area

Coffee was good. Had a latte . Asked for 2%, only had whole. After I ordered, sat and waited for it and waited and waited. Finally, got up only to find it sitting on the counter with another order. Not a great system for me. Coffee was expensive. Tables places all over the place which I didn't find comfortable. Didn't have time to park at the garden so might be really good.

Maypop now offers Maypop after Dark with live music, cocktails, and a food vendor. I have attended twice and absolutely love the Friday option to browse their shop, listen to live music, and enjoy a nice cocktail. I have always loved Maypop and this just makes me love them more! Would recommend

Excuse me, how did no one tell me Maypop Coffee & Garden Shop existed? And who looked at all of these trees, herbs, and veggie plants and thought it smart to add caffeine? Genius! I'm a black coffee purist, basic, bold, no fluff, so I can find my fix pretty much anywhere. But what I can't find is a garden stroll with my morning brew. You gotta go! Grab a cup, wander through the plants, pretend you know the difference between a hydrangea and a hosta (I actually do). But don't get lost.

I always worry about heading to a popular coffee shop on a weekend and being able to fond seating. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of seating inside and outside. Of course the "garden" seating stunning. Plus delicious coffee and fresh baked goods. Also enjoyed the Sunday Farmers Market!

Not only is this a garden cafe, they're also currently serving at the Webster groves farmers market so you can drink and shop :) not many cafes I've been to in stl have come close to maypop; this is a staple cafe here and I have always counted on when I have a friend visiting from out of town or someone who is new to the city. You cannot beat the friendliness of the staff, the simplicity of the menu, and the home vibes from inside and out.

Match and chai were good! Cutesy little coffee shop with lots of plants in the back! Affordable prices, great ambiance for drinking your latte. If I were a local, I'd be there all of the time!

THIS PLACE IS SO CUTE!! I went to meet a friend and her pup for coffee and don't know how I haven't visited sooner!! Our gym is right up the street and omg- so many delish drinks on the menu, coffees and teas, and a couple of food items (hummus toast was sooooo dang good- creamy hummus, fresh sliced cucumbers and tomatoes- with everyone's fav seasoning on top!!!), bakery items, AND sugarwitch ice cream sammie's!! The cafe has wifi and even a quiet reading room upstairs! The staff is so welcoming and so is this environment. I love that you can ALSO buy plants in the back- we love one stop shopping and dog-friendly patios!

Popped into Maypop yesterday after a meeting, and I didn't even realize it was the first day of spring! Such a perfect spot to celebrate that, ontop of supporting an amazing women-owned business during Women's History Month. Parking is tight here, but they have street parking on Summit as well as a small parking lot to the right hand side. I entered in the back which lead me right to the coffee bar. This spot is in an old house which makes it SO charming. I ordered hot latte with sugar free vanilla. I sat outside in the front in the sunshine and got some work done- solid WiFi outside! Afterwards I headed into the greenhouse and purchased a small plant. I kill anything green I bring into my home, but after a convo with the staff member working, I figured out how to give it a little TLC and hopefully keep it alive! Maypop is always a good idea :)

Eventually, I'd run out of money and be forced to live out of doors, perhaps in a tent in the park across the street. It would almost be worth it. Kentzo Koffee is not without its flaws, but it's a good place to have a coffee ("koffee") and a light breakfast. It's not clear to me how long it's been around, but it's possible they have a few issues that just need ironing out. A guy from my running group who lives nearby was running down the litany of businesses that have been in this space. Is this location cursed? Was a Native American killed there? This is no fault of Kentzo, but there was some confusion as to whether the breakfast bowl comes with eggs. I could have sworn that it doesn't and that the menu made this clear, but a few members of my group, who are girls with whom I'm not inclined to outwardly disagree, insisted that it does. It seems like it should anyway, right? What's a breakfast bowl without eggs? You could just as easily have such a bowl for lunch. That's unacceptable. This place had umpteen baristas, including one dressed like she was working for tips in a place frequented by bikers (she looked amazing), but they were barely keeping up with orders. This was fine with me. I didn't have anywhere to be, and my drink--an iced vanilla latte, natch--was good when it finally came out. But this is not the kind of place to stop and grab a quick drink on your way to work. There was only one guy making food, as far as I can tell, and he was on it. He made my Breakfast Bowl w/ Bacon and brought it out before I got my drink. He warned me that the bowl was hot, but he was holding it with his bare hand. He must think that I'm actually *from* Maplewood. I had to have the girl who handed me my drink fetch my cinnamon roll. Were they supposed to hand it to me when I ordered? Were they hoping I'd just forget? The cinnamon roll was cold, like maybe it sat in a refrigerator overnight. It occurred to me that it almost certainly wasn't made that day, but it didn't seem particularly stale or prepackaged. It cost more than I paid for most meals in the pre-Brandon era, and it occurred to me that they could just give you a bit less, not charge as much, and I'd be fine with that. Did I devour the whole thing in a few bites anyway, like I just got out of jail? Yes. Yes, I did.
