I've been wanting to try escape room for a long time and I must say I was not disappointed! I went in with a group of 11 and did the Torture Chamber. The guy working (sorry I forgot your name) had excellent customer service! He asked who was comfortable with certain things so that he knew how to split us. You are not allowed to bring anything inside the game room so there are lockers available for personal belongings. They sell water for ..I think it was $2 but if you check in on Yelp its free! The game was fun and I like how help was available whenever needed. My group and I made it to the very last puzzle but did not successfully escape but we were still allowed to finish which was nice! The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because of how hot it was in lobby and game room. It was triple digits that day and we did have a big group but it was so hot it made the game not as enjoyable as it probably should have been. Despite the heat, many of us are definitely planning on returning and trying the other room (on a cooler day) ! read more

The torture chamber was absolutely thrilling! It definitely challenges the dynamics in your team, and it is rewarding to escape before the time is out. I would say there were a few times when I noticed a couple of people lost hope throughout the process, but we pulled through it together and had 7 minutes left. I had a fun time here with my group. The Torture Chamber was my 10th escape room and it ranks on the higher end for favorite rooms. The puzzles and clues were not too difficult but challenging enough that we needed to ask for clues a few times. I liked that it heavily relied on communicating with our teammates because I felt like a group working together instead of two people trying to solve one thing and another group trying to solve something else. If I paid for this room I want to be involved in EVERYTHING! Major bonus points for making it a private room once you book. I normally don't mind having strangers join us but when escape rooms try to make money by stuffing a crap ton of people into one room, it's more chaotic than useful and i end up missing how clues get solved and puzzles get done. The dude up front was awesome. Personable, interacted with us, jokes all around, handled payment, explained the game, gave us clues, answered questions, took our pictures, tried to sell us t shirts. The other chick sat looking bored. Maybe she was busy watching the camera in the rooms? Even though im pretty sure it was just us? We want to go back and do the other room one day! read more

Had a great time playing the Conspiracy theory room with friends! We walked in and were greeted by Game Master Game, who was very enthusiastic and easy-going. I won't spoil the room, but it was unique how you get to split into teams to solve the puzzle! Definitely recommend giving this location and puzzle a try! read more

They currently have 2 rooms, both were EXCELLENT! Well thought out and very interactive! I'd recommend this place over any of the other Greater Sacramento rooms so far! Went here with a big group, aced it. Overall was fun and good for beginner escape artists but for some of us that have been to a few wasn't as challenging and intricate as a few others in Northern California. The hosts were friendly and had some interesting puzzles to warm us up. read more

So glad we made the decision to come here, we had so much fun! The room was pretty challenging, 8 of us got out with less than 4 minutes to spare without any hints. Our team conquered conspiracy theory and managed to escape with about 8 minutes left. The clues were challenging but not too difficult and the room was put together nicely with a good flow. Out of all the escape rooms our team has done in Sacramento, this was by far the most fun in terms of concept and theme. It's different from all of the others ones we've tried so far and Michael was very accommodating. Can't wait for the Conspiracy rooms to come out! read more

This was my first try at such a thing. I was invited by my daughter and her friends. They do escape rooms a lot. Well, I mostly just stood back and watched the machine run. Obviously, they're world class at these games. We were out in an amazingly short time. It was a blast. I'll surely do it again. Showed up early and Michael prepared our minds with riddles. Unfortunately it didn't help, we weren't able to escape. But, our group of adults and teens had so much fun and will definitely come try their next room! 13 year old was the youngest and he was able to solve two clues for us. read more

Our group did the torture chamber, which was pretty fun. We didn't escape but had a great time. This was our first escape room, so I didn't have much to compare it too. The ambience was pretty good, I liked the puzzles also, but not very high tech. Since this, we've done an escape room in Davis, which was outstanding! I've never done an escape room so I went in expecting nothing. Michael helped us through the initial process and was very enthusiastic. Five stars for him since he calmed my anxiety about being trapped in a room. He reassured me that nothing would touch me or pop out at me which I definitely appreciated. Overall experience was super fun and exhilarating. Solving these clues were challenging but when we got them right, the feeling was amazing. This was an an amazing experience. Michael was patient, kind, and funny as he explained the rules for us and waited for our group to get ready. I thought it was really well thought out and that this was definitely a great experience. We went in a group of 10 which I thought was just the right amount or slightly above the right amount. We went on July 4th and did the Torture Chamber! It was a lot of fun. My friends and I have done escape rooms in LA and Orange County, but we all agreed this one was our favorite. Most escape rooms will make you do random things that are impossible to think of to figure out the clues. However this one was very organized and followed a theme so the clues (not saying they were easy!) made sense. It was a really nice order to follow and I loved how it's different in ways (I don't want to give out spoilers) than other escape rooms. It's more realistic than just sticking you in a room. You can tell the people working here are very passionate and put in a lot of work into making the rooms as fun as possible. We hope to come back and do the other room soon! read more

My friends and I had so much fun during Exit Strategy, I just had to write a review!! The owner was very kind and did a great job explaining the rules and the backstory. The room is filled with so many surprises! The designers did an amazing job achieving a creepy torture atmosphere... There were so many details! Communication within your team is really key!!! I would even recommend this escape room for an office team building experience. I left this room really excited to come back to the other rooms that will be at Exit Strategy.
