These wings are smoked and then fried before being tossed in the flavor of your choosing. They are huge and always perfected cooked. I absolutely love the atmosphere and old school feel of JDs. A small bar and massive dining hall with lots of fun art on the walls. The place always smells fantastic from the smoker too. Service is alway the best. All of the servers are super friendly and quick with taking orders and getting drinks. Aside from the wings we have tackled all the apps, sides, and some of the bbq. So far we have been impressed with just about everything. The hush puppies, fried jalapeno, and collard greens are among my favorites. Honestly one of my favorite spots! Same with the cole slaw. Always excellent. The staff are always very friendly and the food comes out quickly! It's counter service and they call your name when it's ready. There was one young man who hustled and met one of the guests half way. Great service! The restaurant is clean and well maintained and stocked with a nice rustic look with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Plenty of space for large parties. My navigation took me on a super convoluted route, so if you know where North Cobb Highschool is, they're located across the street from N Cobb Highschool's gym.
