This may be the best customer service I have ever received!!! This morning I ran over a pot hole and my right front tire immediately went flat. I went online to find the nearest place that could repair a very expensive wheel since I thought the pothole bent the rim. Exoticar was the closest so i slowly limped there with my tire flat. Anthony promptly greeted me and immediately came out to look. He could have easily said it was both tire and wheel, but instead said it was just the tire. He tried to locate one for me with no luck and said that the dealer would have to order the tire. Then he offered to put my spare on!!!! He brought his floor jack out and changed my tire. I had a pretty gnarly curb rash on one of my rims, it even looked slightly dented. I was able to send a picture to Exoticar and got a reasonable quote over the phone. Once the work was done the rim looked good as new! I ran my hand along the spokes and couldn't even tell there was any previous damage. Handing over the keys to your prized possession can be a nerve wrecking experience but I was immediately made comfortable. I went to Antony and saved $2,400!!! SWEET!!! I just bought BMW GT550. Oh my...luxurious! Then I felt a vibration, ok time to balance the tires, took it to the dealer, $217. Then I hit a huge pothole on the 5 fwy in San Clemente construction zone, and now the steering is off, $299. Dealer says vibration still there due to bent rim. Oh great, so off to Tirerack for $2,400 package...but I wonder if someone can do something with the rims first. Google results list Exoticar Inc and I swing by and meet Anthony. He says, wait...let's check the balance first. Each wheel was off an ounce or so. He balances the tires correctly and baddah-bing, a mere $80 later, the car is smooth as silk now. I could not be happier. My car is a 2008 Mercedes SLK 350 limited edition with a unique factory finish on the wheels. The wheels had aged unevenly and needed to be refreshed. Anthony took one look at them and knew how to approach this finish. The result: The wheels look showroom new... what was promised was definitely delivered. As an aside, I had previously asked around about restoration of my calipers and was never fully satisfied with the answers. Horrible work and terrible attitude. I took my car to this guy Anthony to have the wheels painted and clear coated - a VERY simple job. I had to go back 3 times because the clear coat work was so terrible (see pics). When the job wasn't done on time for the third time and I complained Anthony came unglued and started screaming at me and tried to say it was somehow my fault (what??!!?). He finally admitted that he had used my car to "train" his worker (he said "gotta train my guys somehow!!"). He never told me he was having somebody who didn't know what they were doing work on my wheels. It's clear to me now that he can't manage his schedule and deliver his work on time with experienced workers. Twice when I left the car in the morning he promised that it would be done by the end of the day only to have his assistant call me to say they needed to keep it overnight because it wasn't finished. It's obvious to me now that what was really going on was that he never got to it on the first day and then rushed to finish it the next morning. As a result he gave the car back to me while the clear coat was still wet and you can see the results in the pics. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES!! Also, my car was filthy inside and out every time I picked it up. He finally gave me my money back for 2 of the wheels and said he didn't want to deal with the problem anymore. This was a miserable waste of my time and his demeanor was REALLY scary. Stay away!! read more

Exoticar accidentally sliced the tire of my BMW while removing it from the wheel. BUT, I will go to Exoticar for my wheel refinishing needs for the rest of my life. Why? Exoticar replaced the tire (without being asked to), plus the other matching (undamaged) tire at their cost - and these were not cheap tires. They also found that two of the wheels were cracked, and had both wheels repaired on their dime. I don't necessarily judge people on their mistakes. I judge them on what they do to remediate their mistakes. Exoticar does expert work at reasonable prices, and even better than that, their honesty and professionalism go way beyond the call of duty (this is VERY rare these days).
