    Broke my sectional
    Stephanie P.

First let's mention the only good. Jordan was responsive to all my inquiries (Yet not really accommodating.) They package my furniture overall very poorly (but ruined my sectional because they hammered down the pin to clip the pieces and told me that it would be taken back out upon delivery- clip bent and broken) They wrapped and broke all 4 smart TV's thrown in garbage. My original quote for 8 boxes and my large pieces was $1600 I ran with them because they were the cheapest. Once the movers came and claimed the quotes was for all pieces and only 6 boxes the total quote went to $2932. The additional boxes were 7 more. They claimed it is because of the amount of space that takes up on the truck per cubic feet yet all my boxes came destroyed as if they were all smooshed together. The delivery gets contracted out and it is not done by the company so they did not arrive in 3 days as promised, they picked up on Thursday and didn't delivery till 10pm Monday night when my storage unit was closed and had to receive everything is someone else's home because they had a 9am delivery the next day. The delivery guys (that are not part of expedite shipping) built my bed and attempted to repair my couch as courtesy. They are only delivery guys do not be fooled by expedite telling you that they will package and unpackage everything. This company severely takes advantage of its customers I ask several times if they could accommodate me in any way with the final price since it went up so dramatically and they said no they threatened to throw my ruined stuff in storage and I would be responsible for the fee. This is all during the pandemic when moving has already been a very hard decision. Expedite shipping is taking advantage of the Covid-19 crisis. Please be aware.

    The real movers.

Moved from NY to Florida. Expedite Moving 1296 Lawrence St. Rahway, NJ 07065 Exmoving.com US DOT: 2491702 NYS DOT: T-385569 Nov. 2, 2017 scheduled pick up. Even after checking their reviews and BBC dont trust. First the estimates are wrong, from $1,300.00 up to $2,165.20. I had added more boxes and gave specifics on the FedEx sized boxes. I spoke to Jordan yet it almost doubled at pick up. I had to pay 75% of total as part of contract, fine. The signing process is crazy... they make you sign without even reading, very friendly, I guess thats how they get you with the fine print. (LIKE 20 pages) but only give you 6 pages, good thing I asked to take pictures.*** At the end of move the friendly Greek guy even asked to take shots of Jack Daniels which by the way was also the driver. My husband called them Dec. 11, 2017. Got 24 out 58 items on Dec. 21, 2017. They wanted the money as per contract yet they had less than half the stuff. Then they charged for steps when I spoke to Jordan he had verbally told me he wasnt charging for steps originally. Finally after cursing out for ruining move, Jordan said they would deliver as soon as possible and not charge for steps. And when I threatened to call cops for trying to keep the money they called the movers to return money which by the way is another moving company. In one of the back and forth conversations with Jordan he said that $35 per day late was going to get deducted from my total. **Yes the movers at drop off is another company.** It is now January 11, 2018 and I get a call from the new/other movers that have the rest of my stuff telling me I need to have the remainder of the balance ( $541.38). I call Jordan and tell him he had told me $35 per day late was supposed to be deducted and that would be from Dec 22-Jan 12 = 22 days, $35.00 × 22= $770.00 mind you I didn't even ask for money I just mentioned not paying anything and just getting my stuff and came out with contract now. Saying I should have read contract and all this bs. Jordan is saying I need to pay then file claim which I called claims and they said it will take 4 months =120 days. Jordan is basically saying you have to pay even if we messed up. And another excuse was that NY had alot of snow last week. If my stuff was delivered in December as per conversation then I should of received it in December not the following month without any phonecalls/emails or any type of contact with my husband or myself. I am beyond angry and frustrated, as if moving wasn't stressful enough. They had told me over the phone they made a mistake, that was their apology. They ruined Christmas for my Kids and Family. What am I supposed to do put a Christmas tree in January. Viviv7d2@aol.com my email for proof if needed cuz apparently theres 2 sides of the story as per Jordan. Update: got the rest of my stuff delivered Jan 12, 2018. With item #38 missing and my 1 piece of furniture/tv stand broken. Their response from Mr. Jordan is to apologize and from owner, Mr. Allen to just file claim. Very stressed and disappointed. *they asked if i could delete my review. They're kidding right...

    They packed this.

We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

I finally got a job in NYC, so I had to move to Jersey City. Being new to the area, I didn't have any idea of the movers in the Philly area. After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for hard working, honest, reliable and dependable movers

When I finally went to move my things from their unit to a different one, my boxes were just tossed in what looked like a junk heap with ZERO care and I found out I was being ridiculously overcharged for literally a square spot in a garage. As my family and I were moving my items from their unit warehouse to our own truck we rented because the owner was going to charge us too much money for his employees to do it, EVERY BOX or piece we moved had broken, missing or damaged sections/items. the owner watched us as we took each box literally blaming us because we "touched it". the owner of this company is FOUL and nothing I owned was packed with care. I'm now finally unpacking, and I have THOUSANDS of dollars of damaged and missing items. I will one hundred percent be reporting them to the BBB and I hope they get stripped of all of their awards. THIS IS ADDED AFTER THE COMMENT FROM THE OWNER- MASSIMO- you are an absolute jerk I still have threatening and disgusting text messages from you after I called to say things were damaged. LITERALLY AT THE FACILITY YOU SAW ME TAKE ONE BOX AT A TIME and saw my face as I heard broken contents and you did NOTHING. I did not pack my boxes on moving day your team did and they did it TERRIBLY I even bought them lunch and tipped. Your team threw things in boxes and unloaded into a literal heap of a mess in your garage. And then you charge $300-500 a month for nothing. PUBLIC PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY A GREEDY MAN WHO TREATS CUSTOMERS WITH DISRESPECT. I hope the public does understand your company is a disgrace and I will send ANYONE who asks to see pictures and the bill and messages what I have. Massimo you are the biggest liar ever. My father dropped nothing. And you took no pictures you stood there like an A just silently watching and laughing. Please stop fooling yourself. Please don't print lies they last forever. You put me through absolute MISERY.

We move fairly frequently. We had a great experience with our last moving company, but couldn't…read moreremember the name. After seeing such great reviews online we decided to book with pick and pack. This was easily the worst, most expensive, and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. We moved out of our 2-bed, 2-bath apartment on Sunday, August 2nd. We've moved this exact same furniture multiple times over the last five years, moved that were much farther away and with multiple stops. (I'm talking two stops over 40 minutes away plus a new apartment 40 minutes away from that, walk up to walk up). This move was one apartment with a walk up to a new apartment with an elevator 20 minutes apart. lt has never cost this much or gone this badly. They estimated $1,600-$1,800 for 6-7 hours which was similar to our last moves, but the final bill came out to a whopping $2,200, $2,500 with tip. That's $500-$700 more than far more complicated moves we've done in the past. The crew moved much slower than previous movers I have experienced. They kept disappearing for 15 minutes at a time, and they actually charged us for their lunch break, which is standard, except they were gone over an hour and there was only 20 minutes of travel time. The lack of respect for our things was unbelievable. They completely cracked my antique bar cart handles and wheel, cracked one of our lamps, and my dog's crate. Worst of all, my jewelry armoire was locked prior to our move but must have been pried open because the lock is completely broken and bent now. I haven't even finished unpacking yet and I'm terrified of what else I'm going to find ruined. On top of the damage, they literally left multiple pieces of furniture behind at our old place. They claimed some pieces couldn't be moved safely, which is a total lie because previous movers handled them just fine (Again, for less money and less time EVEN PACKING THEM FOR US) . Other items they just abandoned without saying a word. (there were things we had them leave, these were things they were absolutely supposed to take). They also promised they would arrange my living room furniture they had to move due to space to back where I wanted it at the end of the day, but after taking all day, they just left without doing it. They also did an awful job putting our furniture back together creating even more work for us It is incredibly fishy how this place has so many good reviews online. Now I know why: they make you fill out a survey right before they leave, before you even have a second to look around and notice that your stuff is broken or missing. Again these piece have all been moved multiple times by different movers (all good experiences) with no damage.
