They did an excellent job repairing two of my car doors that were smashed in from a hit and run. They're in-network for Geico and ended up taking a little over three weeks, which is apparently lightning speed in the car repair world. Although it went quickly, it seems they did a very thorough job, plus they detailed the inside of the car as well, which was very appreciated! I had to wait 5-1/2 months for the part from Toyota, and Crystal supported me above and beyond the entire time! After I my catalytic converter was stolen, Geico sent me here and I'm glad they did. The staff was very quick and thorough, and Christal was super supportive with customer service. She helped me order an extra cat shield extension (which Geico of course was not going to mention) so my car will hopefully be safer moving forward. My car ended up at experience auto body after a series of unfortunate events that involved theft. My vehicle was picked up and dropped off during the weekend when they were not operating, I didn't hear back until very late in the week Thursday due to not having the correct contact info. I was a little upset because it was just sitting there.. joe called me MONDAY told me the car would be done later that week.. calls me the next day and say my car is ready to be picked up!!! My Mercedes was hit last December at the metering lights of the Bay Bridge. A box truck just very slowly pulled into my lane and popped my tire and removed my front bumper. I wasn't moving. I waited over a week for the other guy's insurance to start processing everything, but a week later - still nothing. I finally decided to call Geico (my insurance) and get things moving on my end. Geico was amazing and had my car towed from the front of my house within 30 minutes of my call and brought to Experience Auto Body. They replaced my bumper, brackets, side panels, lamps and blended all the paint. They reconditioned my wheel and replaced the tire. I was quoted 10-11 days worth of work, but it was done under 5 and as far as I can tell, they did a solid job. They also guarantee all the work they do. My husband dealt with them more than I, but when I went to pick up the car, service was friendly and professional. I don't wish anyone to need car work, but if you do - these guys have my business, as does Geico. read more

They've had my car for around 15 days now to replace the ignition and dash. Not once have they reached out to provide a timeline on the repair. Each time I reach out, they tell me that a part is backordered from the dealer or that it came but wasn't the right one or was damaged. Generally not helpful, reliable, or trustworthy. read more

The welding job they performed was top notch craftsmanship, and they did a really nice job with repainting certain parts of my car that had serious damages. I found three faults in the repair; they skipped putting back in a rubber rivot that holds the front seal of my wind shield, they put two interior panels back in the opposite order one should, and they didn't order the right color door handle so they did a shotty masking job and painted over some stock door handle color to match my paint. I saw at least three prostitutes on the street out front, if you're into that. They were chunky and giving me the John-eye, if that's even a thing. The rest of the neighborhood, as others have mentioned, is sketch and I'm not sure why GEICO is affiliated with them. This is mostly the reason for the low rating. read more

This place put my emergency flashers out of commission, and then when I brought my car back to fix it, they couldn't figure out what they had done wrong. (According to the 2nd mechanic I took it to, the problem was very obvious and definitely their fault.) They also broke a button off of my radio, although they replaced it for free. The shop's location is pretty sketchy, and the only route back to BART has you walking through some pretty dicey territory in Fruitvale or waiting for the bus in said dicey territory. That alone would have put me off if Geico had not insisted that I get my work done here. Speaking of Geico, the in-house Geico rep does not keep a close eye on your case paperwork. The last time I came in, they would not allow me to take my car home because he was off work that day and forgot to explain to the people on duty that I had already paid my deductible. No matter what Geico tells me to do, I'm not coming back here! read more

Nice work! This body shop came recommended to me. I was told that they do a great and thorough job so I had my van towed here, yes, 103 miles from Roseville to Oakland. Kae was my contact and they took care of the van on the receiving end. I was quickly given an estimate within the same day. Within less than ten days Kae called me letting me know that the van was fixed! I had him send me pictures and he accommodated and sent me pictures of their work. The van looked good as new! Couldn't pick up right away since I work 5 days a week and can't make it within their business hours. We were able to pick up today, Saturday, and met Kae and also the owner, Mason. Did a few extras to the van (A/C will be prepared for Roseville's summer heat!), gave me tips on what maintenance work needed to be done. Both men were helpful and friendly. So I never leave Yelp reviews, but I was so blown away with Experience Auto Body that I decided to come on here to leave one. My car was hit about two weeks ago, sustaining major front end damage. The car was also a mess inside because I had just returned from some camping and snowboarding trips - so it was cluttered and dirty inside. First of all, they returned my car to me looking brand new. Their work was incredible, and they washed the car after they were done. They called to keep me posted on their progress and finished about two weeks ahead of schedule. My biggest surprise was when I opened my trunk and saw that they had placed an organized box in the back of it with all of my shoes and gear and vacuumed the whole interior. People would pay tons of money for that kind of washing service, and they did that free of charge. Great, top notch body work, excellent customer service and little details like making sure your car comes back to you better than you left it with them makes me know my future business will all be going to them. read more

My car is missing parts and i also dont feel safe anymore in my vehicle the car isnt the same as before . On the recommendation of Geico after an accident, my vehicle was sent to Experience Auto Body. While all the repairs were to the exterior front, when I went to retrieve my vehicle I discovered that the interior contents of my car had been gone through and placed in bags; this included the contents of my center console. Before leaving the shop, I began inventorying my belongings and was told by who I'm assuming to be the manager, they would be closing soon and to check once I got home and if anything was missing to let him know. I discovered that my dash cam from my center console was missing. Upon returning to the shop the next day, they claimed that they'd had nothing to do with it and were only responsible for the holder from the windshield. They'd been given no authorization to go through the interior of my vehicle; I find them to be rather dubious and unethical and encourage anyone else dealing with them to be cautious of personal belongings left in your vehicle while in their possession! read more

Great service and great communication about my repairs throughout the process! I came here to get my mirror and driver side door replaced after my car was hit (while it was parked). Rick and the African-American girl who usually answers the phone (I forget her name :( sorry!) were very nice and approachable about anything I needed or any questions I had. The new mirror was a bit wobbly, but they had no problem replacing it with a new one that they ordered. Long and the other people who help with the repairs were also top-notch in their care and attention to detail. When I brought my car in, it had been broken into so there was a lot of broken glass in the seats, but they were kind enough to tape up the hole and vacuum my car. Talk about going above and beyond ;) This place usually has a lot of cars parked in here, but the people are great and you'll have your car handled well. read more

The people I spoke with were friendly and worked with me to get my car fixed before they estimated it to be done, which saved me having to rent a car! I came her because that's where Geico sent the tow truck with my car. On top of getting my car fixed quickly, they also some how made it look better than before the accident. I really appreciate that and I'd recommend them. If you're not used to the neighborhood, just take a Lyft to get there, because if you walk from BART you could get jumped. read more

I would give more stars if I could. Car problems are already stressful, but my car was not only side swiped while parked outside my home, but damaged two weeks before our big move out of town. I have Geico auto insurance and although there was some miscommunication between the Geico representative setting up my tow, once my car was at Experience Auto Body, I had a A+ experience. My entire drivers side body and suspension was damaged and needed replacement. The estimated date of completion was after our moving date. I calmly explained my situation to JOE, who gave me a realistic timeline of my car's repairs. I knew calling every day would help, so I kept praying and praying. When I got a call from Joe, he not only informed me that my car was ready to go the day of our move, but several days in advanced. When I went to pick up my car, it looked better than it was before the accident. They gave my car an exterior (wheels and tires included) and interior clean. My car looked brand new. This shop is great. They send text updates if your repairs and completion time estimates. No storage fee if you can't pick up your car right away as was my case. Super friendly. And then when I picked up the car i noticed that they have buffed out some unrelated scratches and reinstalled a fog lamp that had been knocked out by road debris that I had left in the back seat. Oh and it was done 3 days earlier than their last notification estimated. If your insurance says that they'd like you to take your car here, do it. If you get a choice and even if it's a bit out of the way, do it. read more

I'm glad I had an great experience with these guys! After driving the horrible streets of Oakland. I ran over a crater or as the city would say pot hole. Don't get me started on the city horrible streets! So after all that I get two bent rims and two flat tires. OK so that's how my weekend started . so when I got home I called my insurance company and told them about the issue. They called the shop but they had already closed for the day. Saturday morning they sent a tow truck flat bed to pick up my ride . so since it was Saturday when they picked up my car I didn't hear back till Monday which is ok . they did an over view of my car and gave me an estimate. Good thing I have a deductible the cost was high. They had my car for 5 days because of my after market wheels. Today I got my cat out was clean and they walked me around showing me all the work.
