I was recommended this shop by my AAA insurance, so we checked it out carefully before taking my previously perfect car in. They did a fantastic job on my car. I was recently rear ended and seeked repairs through the other person's insurance which was AAA, I took my car here for the initial inspection then moved forward with repairs here. I was told that the repairs would take 2 days, I dropped my car off on a Tuesday at 9am and received a call the following day at 12:20 that the car would be ready at 3pm. I picked the car up with no issues or wait time, not to mention the shop cleaned the car inside and out, even with my junky back seat lol! Great work and great customer service. I took my car to this shop a month ago after an accident that messes up the front of my car pretty bad. They fixed it up and sent me on my way with a year warranty for anything that they fixed during my visit. A week or so later my car starts leaking green fluid and starts to over heat. I bring my car back to the shop thinking that maybe they didn't fix something, which was ok since it would be covered under the "year warranty" anyway right. So I tell them what happened and they do an inspection and say that it's wear and tear and unrelated to what they fixed and that it would cost $600 to fix!! Of course they are aren't gonna say yea we missed something the first time around. To make matters worse I had to pay for a rental to get back and forth to work outta my own pocket for a week and a half during which I was calling the shop almost everyday to speak with Ashwin(the person handling my car) and he never called me back. I finally get in touch with him because I called and find out that they haven't even began to fix my car!! So here I am now without a car still and $600 out. I was so skeptical about being 3 hours away from where my van was going to be repaired, but I was worried for nothing. The work was excellent. The service was done quickly, professionally and my van was kept and stored safely until I could get back to the Bay to pick it up. They washed and cleaned my van way beyond my expectations. My car was broken into and the side window was completely smashed. Had to buy some cardboard and duct tape as a bandaid until I could get it fixed. Always have insurance! I called around, but ultimately this business got me in the next day. After insurance covered a bit, I only had to pay $100 out of pocket. It's convenient that you can pay over the phone or online. Recently I've had two occasions to go to Turbo. The first was for the replacement of the stolen catalytic converter. As soon as I heard the loud roar of the car, I knew what'd happened. After calling the insurance, I immediately called Enoch to see if this is something they do. In the past I've taken my car to Turbo four times for other repairs, so I know they do great work and I didn't have to think twice about where to take my car if it needed work. Thank goodness they also replace cat. converters. Enoch was able to locate a catalytic converter for my car (no small feat as so many cars have had theirs stolen and it's hard to locate replacements). After the new cat. converter came in, I dropped the car off and picked it up the next day. Not only was it fixed, but the car was washed and gleaming! The second instance was a couple of weeks after that. The passenger side electric mirror was knocked off by accident and so needed to be replaced. Again I called Enoch. He ordered the part and called me when it came in. I asked him if I needed to arrange a ride to leave the car there. He said he could have it done while I wait. Not even an hour later it was done, all the electronics working as new. It was wonderful. As I was stepping into the car, Enoch stopped me to tell me that my tires need to be replaced. He cautioned that the tread is thin, and it's a big safety concern. Usually my mechanic checks these things out and let me know before it's a problem, but since mine retired two years ago, I haven't had to look for another mechanic, this slipped my mind. So I was really glad he had pointed this out before it becomes a safety hazard. Afterwards I checked my records and realized that my tires were 10 years old and had more than 50K miles on them - that's way past their normal wear-and-tear. Good thing he noticed and let me know. (Thanks, Enoch!!) I can't say enough good things about Turbo. I've been here six times in the past ten years and every time the team has been professional and thorough. I know I can depend on them to take care of my car, and they care about me as well (see last paragraph). I love this place, and I've recommend it to my friends. read more
