I took my car to Experienced Automotive for a diagnosis. Paid $180 and their diagnosis was that the Control Module was throwing up 15 codes and the car was not worth repairing. They said they could continue to diagnose the problem but it could be from $200 to $2000 for the diagnosis. I am a bit of a DIY,er and did some googling on my own. A common error code after inputting into google said it could have a bad ECM. Opening up the fusebox myself I found that 3 different relays were missing altogether. My logical reasoning tells me they don't even own the tool to take out the ECM and check it for corrosion. Which I just ordered myself on EBAY. Workmanship is below expectations. Photo right shows an incorrectly installed sway bar link(car could roll in evasive maneuver) compared to photo left. I had to get parts and install correctly so I could get to work before they could redo job. They would not compensate me for my time. I was charged more for a rebuilt rack&pinion than for a new ac/delco rack&pinion ( $669 on bill for rebuilt ac/delco rack&pinion - new ac/delco rack&pinion autozone $620 - rebuilt ac/delco rack&pinion $175 at autozone). I used them several years back and it was a very good experience. They defiantly knew what they were doing. This time I went in with a leak in what I suspected was one of the power steering hoses. It took about 4 days to get an appointment. It took them a couple of days and they replaced a bunch of parts for $2000.00, they never touched the leak. When I got in the car to pick it up a piece of plastic molding fell off on the inside of the windshield. It seems they broke its' mounts off climbing in and out and just stuck the plastic piece back up there hoping I wouldn't notice. The power steering was acting stiff afterwards too when It was cold. I found out they didn't tighten the power steering pump belt tight enough. The mud guards in the fender weren't fully in place ether afterwards. The parts they did replace probably were worn but that wasn't the problem. I took it to another shop. He called me in a hour and a half. He found the hose problem and replace it and fixed another small leak problem for around $450.00. The car was done by the end of the next day. I don't know if this shop changed ownership in the last couple of years, but the quality of the work was like night and day from my first visit. read more

They do the repairs for inexpensive but they fixed my car and it immediately broke. I didn't even make it home. They came and picked up my car and fixed it again. Seems to be working now. They also gave a 2 year warranty. Definitely a good budget fix but would recommend somewhere a little more "experienced" if you can afford it. read more

Overcharged me for a timing belt replacement and said I needed other things fixed and my car was running fine before I took it in. I've had this exact problem fixed before for much less and no upselling on other things. Also fixed parts I wasn't told about but justified it because they fixed it at "cost". Can't trust them and very pricey. read more
