Easy Emissions is just what the name implies.... easy. I've been coming to this location for a few years now, and I've always had pleasant experiences. Sometimes there is quite the line so you will have to wait, but it's worth the wait. You can have your emissions done, as well as register your car here. I ended up paying 40$ exact for my emissions this year. I was in and out, and it made life easier to know I got something done so quickly, and I was able to go out and do other things I needed to get done. The best part for me is that you never have to leave your car. I had my little one with me, and it was so nice to not have to unbuckle him, and drag him into a waiting area where he would most likely get restless. We sat in the car for just a few minutes, and we were done and on our way! Thank you Easy Emissions! You are making life easier on tasks that aren't normally too fun! read more

This is hands down the BEST emissions testing place I've been to in Utah and will be the ONLY place I take my car to. I received a Utah Motor Vehicle Registration Reminder to get my emissions test done in order to renew my car's registration. I went to this place around 10:30am on Friday and there was no line. There were two (2) open bays and you pull up to one of them and the technician will ask you what you'd like done today. I showed him my registration reminder card that I got in the mail and told him that it said I needed to get an emissions test. He went over how much it would be if the emissions test passes: - state vehicle registration $191.50 (as stated on the reminder card) - $40 for OBD-II emissions test - $10 for registration renewal I really appreciated the transparency on the pricing as I know a previous person who wrote a review about this place was upset about how much he paid. What I REALLY like about this place is that you can pay an extra $10 for the registration renewal, which I did out of convenience. In total, I spent about 10 minutes in-and-out from the time I got into the bay and from the time the technician finished. I 100% recommend coming here to get your registration renewal. Also, try to come not when they open because I know there's usually a long line when they do. Go during an off hour like I did while everyone was at work, haha. Currently, they have a deal where if you check into Yelp, you get $8 off of On-The-Spot Registration! I don't know how long this deal will last, but definitely saves money here. read more

This place is pretty slick! Great location on Hill Field rd makes it easy to pull in and out. Parking lot is plenty big. You just pull up in front of one of the 3 bays. The inspector will guide you into the bay and get started with the emissions test. You dont even have to get out of your car. I'll tell you what - This drive-thru was faster than McDonalds or Wendy's. And I didn't leave with cold fries and an incorrect order...but I digress. This place is great! read more

Easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I sat and waited an unreasonable amount of time while they worked on a truck ahead of me, only to be told when it was finally my turn that they wouldn't even do my emissions because of a hood issue. Instead of helping, offering advice, or showing any basic courtesy, they just kicked me out after wasting my time. Completely unprofessional, rude, and careless toward customers. Procrastinated as usual to the end of the month and needed a vehicle emissions test. The place I normally go was closed (permanently the sign said) so I scanned the QR code on my registration card to find an "On the Spot" renewal location. The first place I called said "sure, you can come by appointment, we got a spot in two weeks" and I'm thinking "this doesn't sound on the spot to me!" I looked for more locations on the list and found Easy Emissions. They lived up to their name! Pulled up to their modest location, waited a few minutes and was flagged into the test area. A nice young man named Trevor did the job quickly and professionally, even answered my questions about the procedure. Took all of ten minutes! I went to get emissions tested today. I've been there before so I knew they were fast, but decided to time it today. When I pulled up there was a car just pulling away and one in front of me. Great Service and amazing setup! I called in to check on whether I needed an appointment, the rep told me it is first come first serve and it could be 30 mins to get in. I came in and after waiting less than 15 minutes, pulled into the next open bay, and the service tech took less than 15 minutes to do the inspection from start to finish. Paid for "on the spot" grabbed my sticker and took off. I couldn't get the sticker off, so took it into the office for help and Colton (manager) was able to get sticker removed for me and applied. If I could write less than a star review I would. Being military we are exempt from state fees. They pointed out my registration was military registration and told me I was going to be charged $10, soon find out I was charged $201 total with is roughly $130 more than what I usually pay. They said "oops call the DMV we don't have your money" and the DMV is unable to refund the discharged money as well so. They will charge you more than they are supposed to. Just go to a regular DMV and embrace the suck. read more

Went to autozone to have code scanned when they unplugged scanner check engine light went out. Went to another emission shop passed with no issues.
