My husband had two consecutive MRIs done at this clinic. They ran 1 1/2 hrs late. we arrived for our 10:30 appointments and left at 3 pm. The employees were polite and gave bottles of water while we waited. The facility is dingy, bare-bones decor, desperately in need of updating/ remodeling. Including the bathroom. If my husband needs further imaging, we will insist upon another of that company's locations and hope for the better! read more

The office is nice and the Technicians were really wonderful but I waited more than an hour to begin a scan for my 12:30 appointment while my husband waited in the car. Afterwards they asked me to wait while they burned a CD of my scan. After 20 minutes, I finally asked how much longer. They hadn't even checked to see if the images were ready so the burn didn't begin until I went up to the desk.. I feel very badly for people who don't want to bother the front desk because I have no idea how long it would have been before they called me with it if I hadn't said something. I finally left more than two hours after arrival for a ten minute scan. read more

Back office lady with the short hair that takes care of operating the MRI station at the night shift is extremely insensitive and rude. Why give us the ball to squeeze in case of an emergency if she's just going to roll her eyes and talk among coworkers, yea I seen her im only sitting right in front of the glass see through window!!!! She came in and had her assist unhook me, she told me we can't be doing this test all night. When I told her I seen her make a face when I squeezed the ball she immediately didn't know what to say and she quickly let me know how we can do the test over again if I like. Trying to guilt trip me saying if she shows my MRI photos to the doctor she will get yelled at by him. read more

very friendly. this time I realized from the room Of the MRI , the microphone was not on . they could not hear me- as I had no ear plugs. also , I had no button to push. on admission I think the young lady was distracted- asking questions more than once. I also realized this time how old the equipment looks and the baseboard in the bathroom is so covered in dirt. ( A room where the sign says please keep clean. one more thing- I responded to text re my appt. in the morning. Got a phone call while on my way driving , to also remind me of my appt. As I stood being registered. I received a text to remind me of my appt.. then I received another text after 9 pm that night , when my appt had already been completed at 5:30 pm. something is wrong with this system. Sitting MRI is available at this location. Easy to find just west of Bellflower DMV. Parking is a bit rough plenty of disabled spots EV charging and limited patient spots on west side. Street parking 2hr in front Monday Street sweep. Staff are incredibly helpful and kind. They listened to my 81yr old friend and all her concerns. They knew she was not able to hear well without the hearing aids. One of the techs (I wish I got his name) was so very kind to her, she was so impressed with his calming demenor. The reason we chose expert MRI is because my husband has a severe case of claustrophobia. Since this was wide open it looked to be some thing that would be beneficial to him. So we went, and paid $1285 because they don't take insurance, at least Medicare. So we were very excited to get an appointment and have this procedure put behind us. So, we sent the films to the neurosurgeon, who was unable to use them because the quality was so poor. So now my husband has to go and have another MRI under anesthesia at this time.First of all check and see if they take insurance, otherwise you will throw away hundreds of dollars like we just did. read more

I had the WORST most traumatic experience here. I had the second appointment of the day. Still waited an HOUR to even get started. Was not educated/prepared for the procedure whatsoever. No one communicated to me, it took them forever to get me out when I hit the emergency button. The office is cold, dark and receptionist was rude. read more

Was scheduled early morning for an MRI. Arrived 30min early to fill out paperwork. Greeted by front desk who welcomed me and was friendly and smiling. She assured me that I would be fine because I was nervous. Went to back area to change into gown. Place was nice and clean and smelled good. Female MRI Tech explained the process and had a wonderful caring personality. First time sitting in MRI machine, and it seemed easy to do. You dont realize just how hard it is to sit still in a small space with feet on ground of machine when you also have a knee injury. However, MRI Technologist helping me stay strong by letting me know to hold on a little longer and counting down. She was really great. I asked for two CDs which they had no problem making. Had to stay there little longer because I was dizzy afterwards. They offered me water and to walk me to my car which I was a passenger. read more

This review is for the Bakersfield location. The MRI machine itself was great and not claustrophobic, but the quality of images it produces for your doctor on CD are horrible and useless. If my highly trained surgeon couldn't read the images, how are the ExpertMRI radiologists able to prepare accurate reports? Drove two hours out of my way to use this horrible service. Most likely my insurance won't pay for another accurate MRI that my Dr. can read. They should be reported to the Medical Board And the Better Business Bureau. SHAME ON THIS SCAM SERVICE. Zero stars, but Yelp forced me to give them at least 1 star. read more

They give you the phone number that you need to call. Then, the Director go present herself and check on what she needs to do for me. Then, comes the Dr. present himself and the procedure, he was very gentle with his job. Then, the technic who does the MRI is very courteous, make sure you are comfortable, tell you the next step to come and how long. Then, the Doctor, who does his report, works through fully. This place is very convenient I went in for an MRI yesterday I was late to my visit and the front desk girls where really nice they still took me in I drove all the way from Costa Mesa so I caught a little bit of traffic but was still able to get in I had to wait but it was no biggey. The MRI technician was really nice and sweet and she explained in detail what was going to happen knowing that I was claustrophobic it was a sitting MRI but everything was very smooth. I am genuinely very claustrophobic but this Open MRI I just sat in a chair kind of squeezed in my shoulders and put what look like a football helmet over my head I had to stop about halfway through because I was getting very nervous but the gentleman was watching me the whole time he reassured me that there's nothing can go wrong and that if I do have any problems he'll pull me out of there instantly I recommend this MRI to anybody who is claustrophobic read more

Due to claustrophobia, I researched a place that does Upright (standing or sitting) MRI's. I found Expert MRI and I'm really thankful! The MRI was of my thumb. I stood the whole time and overall the experience was great! The scheduling of my appointment was a little difficulty but it all worked out! The location was okay but not difficult to find! The front counter staff were nice and explained the process and what to expect well! The sign-in was pretty simple too! My highest compliments are for the technicians!! They made you feel comfortable every step of the way! They were very accommodating because I had a broken foot and so it was difficult to stand so long and do the MRI. But they checked on me which, really helped! And the whole process was done in about 25 mins A good experience and would definitely go back again (but I hope I never need to lol)!! I did get a CD of the imaging to give my doctor. I'm hoping the imaging quality is good and exactly what my doctor needs! Plus, the radiology report didn't take too long to receive either!
