I had MRi about a week and a half ago.I called in that i was running late they were so accomodating and told me that it wasn't a problem that i should still come in. They were extremely professional, knowlegeable and thorough.When it was time for my MRI i was a little nervous but i was kept at ease and assured that i would be fine.You can tell they have big experience and knows what they are doing. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've called countless times trying to get an MRI on my knee and they still haven't scheduled me. They keep telling me they are waiting for approval from insurance even after I gave them the approval number. In fact I emailed them the approval letter from insurance and they person on the phone just put me on hold ignoring me. I only wanted to go here because they have an open MRI. What a great group of people working here. Very helpful at all times. Explained testing carefully and made sure I understood. Testing was stopped half way through for my rest. Ear buds were used to reduce loud noise of the test. They were so helpful and friendly. I will be glad to go back any time for anything else I need. Be sure you go to Bellflower and NOT RIVERSIDE!!! I 100% recommend this place to any healthcare professional. We had two surgical patients who needed imaging done as soon as possible the night before their surgery. We called and searched every imaging center in Los Angeles. Expert MRI was able to squeeze in both patients in one day and provide us with imaging the same day which is normally impossible. They saved the day. Two patients were able to get their surgery done successfully thanks to this facility. I was referred here by my dr. I was very anxious about getting an MRI but found out this place has the open one that you sit in. While I'm not fond of sitting perfectly still as required, I was able to relax to get through the test. I took one star off for the cold air. It was too chilly in there. Staff was helpful, I was able to get a warm cup of coffee while waiting. All in all, a pleasant experience. read more

Called me a day a head of my appt and asked me to come in "now" with in a hour. I decided to go got there 15 mins early as they INSISTED! And i sat over 1 hour in the waiting room. They obviously called me a day ahead of my appt to not have me come in on a Saturday. I came in a day early at the drop of a dime! (Very unprofessional to even ask someone to do that when they schedule a week out). But figured since i have a appt it wouldn't be much wait. And for what ? To have me sit and wait over a hour and 45 mins! Absolutely ridiculous to have someone make appt and your place of business cant even commit to their own times! read more

I had to use this facility because its one of the only flex MRI locations close to my home. And by close, I mean a 45 minute drive. My first appointment was scheduled for 8am... on a Saturday...- they told me to arrive early for paperwork. So I arrive at 7:30am, only to find their gates closed and locked. I tried calling, no response. Call again, no response. Wait until 8:30am, still gates weren't open so I drove home. PISSED! I get a call a few hours later saying that I missed my appointment and they wanted to know how I'd like to take care of the "fee" I'd incurred from not attending or cancelling on time. At this point I wanted to lose it on the phone, but I explained the situation and against my better judgement rescheduled. Ok, now attempt number 2 of driving to Bellflower for the flex MRI. I arrive early as instructed, this time the gates were open. So far so good. Then I fill out my paperwork and wait almost an hour to be taken back to the MRI. When I get back there they had a tech who wasn't use to working in the Bellflower facility, however he calmed my nerves and even put on a movie for me to watch during the procedure. All was going well until the MRI "manager" or whatever term you'd like to give the RUDE woman overseeing the techs work came in. She pushed me around and was rushed and running around. Absolutely zero respect for my body or personal space. I felt terrible for the staff having to work with her. I'd NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I even told my Doctor who referred me and I don't believe he intends to send patients there in the future. Save yourself, go somewhere else. read more

This place has another location, but I'm glad I chose this one. All of the staff was very nice. I was scheduled for 2 MRIs, I got one done in an open seating type of thing and the other in the standard MRI machine. There was a bit of a wait, but I was in no rush. The staff also did a great job communicating with me my wait time. I arrived a little before 11, and was done with my appointment by about 12:30. No complaints. Very efficient office. Oh, and also a plus that my Hard copy was given to me right away :) read more

I was fighting them for 3 wks to try & get an appointment and they kept lying saying they didn't have the authorization which was bullshit because it was approved 2 wks ago & i have had it in my hand for 1 wk. when I was able to speak to a supervisor about finally getting scheduled they say "you're out of network ". Could I have had a better experience! Luis at the front desk was so helpful! He displayed great manners and customer services. We are like the same age and he was calling me ma'am. Okay some women are funky about that but it didn't matter to him if I was older or younger, he showed me respect as a person! Thanks to his mom, he is great worker! My radiology tech, Gloria, was super sweet. She made sure I had my buds in correctly, covered me with a blanket, she was just awesome. From the moment I walked in to the time my study was completed I was assisted and felt very comfortable. I didn't even need to ask for the imaging disc. It's part of their protocol to give it to the patient before leaving. Like HELLO! Thank you! On top of the fact that they got me in same day in a matter of an hour or so. If an organization wants to know how NOT to treat a patient with care, this is the place to go! While knowing that you have 1 hour driving each way to get to your appointment, they schedule 2 different appointments 1 week apart. When asked why, first they said it is the only way insurance will pay us. Then when asked again a different day, they said it is our "protocol". Long story short, they made the 3 areas for MRI in same appointment. After going to the appointment, nobody thinks to offer sponge plugs for ears so you hear obnoxious and loud clanging for a whole hour. There us a foot stool for shorter people, never mind, even though you are tall, they will have your feet on it with the knees bent fir a full hour! The time comes for an injection for a "contrast MRI". The person who usually gives it clocks out and leaves a "student" to do the job. Not knowing what she is doing, she pokes painfully a couple of times claiming that her needle bent and could only poke legally 2 times. So they sent me home with yet another appointment the following morning (2 hours driving). They got me to go 2 times! Ronnie, the technician, was very professional and caring while performing the injection within a minute painlessly and efficiently, with one try!!! read more

I have spent days, not hours, getting a proper appointment for my husband for upright MRI. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing! First, they booked 2 appointments 1 week apart, breaking up an MRI of the brain from an MRI of the ear canal. They first said because insurance will not pay otherwise. Then they said it is our "Protocol " without any reasoning. They did not know a certain CPT code refers to the brain AND ear canal. This was something anyone can Google and find out. They failed to do that. They advised me to get an authorization from my insurance company for MRI of ear canal. Lots of calls goi g back and forth, their supervisor is either on a lunch break or in a meeting. They assumed the referring doctor's office is HOI going inform me that brain and ear canal can be done in one appointment without them informing me of same(so I know everyone is on the same page before having my husband drive 1 hour and 10 minutes each way. After finally talking to a supervisor, she claimed their "protocol" is because the whole appointment may take a full hour! I told her that does not work for us! She did apologize for any inconvenience however I am so frustrated that this whole process has taken a whole year!! We had to reschedule today's appointment based on lack of information that we are on the same page for another week!!! read more

I called Expert MRI to make an appointment and Denise was very accommodating. There was a cancellation on the same day that I called, and Denise reached out to me to ask if I was available. I wasn't available that day but Denise said we can schedule you for 7am the next morning which I accepted. I arrived and met with Catalina who was very helpful and polite. My MRI technician made me feel very comfortable and she also explained step by step what was going to take place. My technician also communicated through speaker to check on my comfort level, as well as to let me know how much time I had left in the machine. I was referred here after I got into a car accident. When the receptionist initially called me I told her I had to check my schedule and I would call back. I'm a student and I work. A few went by and this office called my 2x a day for about a week. I called back this morning at 8am and an appointment was made for me the same day at 6:40pm. As a new patient and not wanting to be late, I decided to arrive at the office early (5:35pm). When I arrived I was given new patient paperwork and I submitted it within 15 minutes. There were 4 other people in the lobby waiting to be seen. After about an hour of me sitting there a man asked when he would be seen because he had already been there for over an hour. His appointment was at 5pm. The receptionist said it would be 10-15 minutes. But that time came and gone. At now 7pm I told the receptionist to cancel my appointment. He now apologized and said they only had one technician available. This seems to be a habit here because looking at reviews several people have had this same problem. There were 4 people ahead of me and there was no way we all were going to be seen. They could have at least called us and asked us to reschedule for them instead of having us waste our time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! A total waste of time. Due avoid at all cost. Will be trying to get a different referral for MRI. They are everything short of Expert read more
