DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY !! I was told that my insurance would pay for this when my scans were done I was not allowed to leave until I paid out of pocket. So I had to get a 3D scan done of my upper arch as i need a couple of implants, this company is truly awesome, they came out to me in a very nice Mercedes Van which was very neat and clean the tech met me in the parking lot and was very kind, clear on instruction. It was super convenient and fast. I had LONG as my technician and he was very kindly nice.

I had the privilege to use the services of 3D. I called on Wednesday and was seen on Saturday and scans were received on Monday. Everything went amazingly well. I do not understand those who did not have an exceptional experience. I encourage readers to read the management responses of less than stellar reviews. I had the opportunity to speak with Michael directly, the owner, and he was great. This is a great organization doing a great job (especially considering the times we are living in). The mobile unit came to my home. Kalani was my certified technician. She was absolutely fabulous and very knowledgeable. She was patient and kind. I was definitely impressed with Kalani, my conversations with Michael, and the organization as a whole. I recommend them highly. Absolutely hate this place. They've made my life a living hell. I was promised by the X-Ray technician that my scans would be overnighted which I was fine with ....Monday comes and I get a phone that the technician gave me FALSE information so I was told that I can drive over 45 minutes to Los Alamitos to pick my scans up myself although that's not my problem and I am a CUSTOMER and so I explained to the person on the phone that I wouldn't pick them up because I didn't have time and on top of that THEIR employee's mistake isn't mine so I was told that I would get a call back......Friday gets here and I call because I NEVER received a phone call back and the manager was so rude and he understood it was their fault but did not care. Absolutely hate this place so upset I spent 195.00 to receive NOTHING. I'm starting to think their reviews were fake. read more

I just got my CT done for my pending wisdom teeth removal. This was by far one of the easiest and most convenient medical exams I've had. This was literally done right outside my house. Bo showed up early and was friendly and professional from the start. He explained the whole procedure and what to expect. I'll start off with the biggest pro: Convenience. There is no wait time, and in most cases they will be able to drive right up to your home or work and perform services on site. The scheduling process was very easy, I spoke with Mike, I gave him the info he needed and we agreed on a date and time to have my CT performed. Brook followed up with me the day before my appointment to confirm. Bo was the friendly technician who performed the CT scan. I think Bo was the star of today's encounter. The van was clean and air conditioned. He arrived early and awaited my arrival, he introduced himself and informed me of everything to expect, he provided me with an itemized receipt, and informed me about how to obtain a copy of my imaging once the work up was complete if I were to needed it. 5 out of 5 for these guys over at 3D Advantage. read more

This is a great service if you are physically able to do what is required to sit completely still for about a minute. Obviously, it seems someone with my physical limitations needs a lay down scan and I will never have this type of scan done again. Unfortunately, they seat you on a roll around stool with no back, while having 2 plastic prongs poke into your forehead. I have shoulder and neck arthritis so sitting on this type of stool is agony for me, especially when I have a very slight essential tremor that gets worse when I get stressed or have to concentrate really hard. The more I tried not to move, of course, the worse I got. Also, the plastic prongs they strap you to are painful and I still have the marks on my forehead from them 2 days later. I think the company needs to warn their patients with physical limitations at appointment making time, or at least tell them if you can't sit up, still, for the required time, it is a waste of time (and your money) getting the scan. I also will tell my dentist to be careful about referrals for his older patients, as they might not be able to do what is required for them to get a good scan. I'm sure he will be as frustrated as I am that my scans are blurry. If I had known how the scan was preformed, I would have used another company. read more

I planned to do 2 tooth implants last year. The periodontist in Agoura Hills gave me 2 choices to do dental CT scan -- Mobile 3D Advantage and another dental x-ray office in Woodland Hills. I called and found 3D Advantage charged less and they come to your home without extra charge. My dentist's office staff also told me Mobile 3D is very efficient and they like to work with them. I live in Newbury Park, just outside 3D Advantage service area. They told me they can meet me in Woodland Hills on Saturdays. So I made an appt and meet them at Target parking lot (easy access to highway) on Saturday. The Mercedes working van is well equipped. It only took 15 min. total of my time to have everything done. The technician is very friendly and excellent in doing the job (sorry I forgot his name, a young Asian man). The imaging part only took a couple minutes. I had one tooth implant done last month. The implant procedure was successful, but the original plan and billing went wrong. I decided to change the dentist and called 3D Advantage to see if I can have the films to see other dentists. Rachel is the one helped me at phone, she quickly send me CT images through Email right away and mailed me prints via mail(since the periodontist didn't take it at first place. 3D didn't charge me anything) I got the prints in 2 days. What a great service they provide. I highly recommend them. read more

Only thing I liked about this thing was that I didn't have to go anywhere to get an x-ray done and it was fast other than that. Wouldn't reccomend these guys l. I just call to schedule an appointment and a guy name Mike was rude, and nothing professional at all. I was trying to figure either work or home city was gonna be the best for what he had available, but he couldn't wait, he sounded to rushy, pushy and in a hurry, I told him he sounded with attitude and I wasn't feeling okay with that, he didn't take it well and raised his voice saying good bye and hanged up on me. All of that in just 20 seconds call. Its sad that he didn't have the time to find out more about me as a future client, I wasn't needing a CT scan urgently, it could of gotten done next week or so. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfortunately there is no option to give a review of zero stars. I bet there are more places that can do this with a more professional people.
