The pool was full but we still enjoyed in it as well as splash zone. The jenga, corn in the hole, checkers, chess board, cards, gaming arcade, indoor pool with movies playing on the projector- they have perfect vacation package. The star of the first night was shuttle service to the pizzeria and back. Our kid loved the ride in the golf cart. The star of the second night was telescope pointing to moon, open for all the guests. But highlight definitely is marshmallow roasting and s'mores. Everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. We didn't have an opportunity to eat at embers or Deli but both pizzeria and jackalope offered delicious meals. We will definitely be back during Christmas or winter time. The facility is kept clean. The interiors are majestic and inviting. The paintings/ photos are stunning, almost a mini museum walls all around. Tip-There are showers inside the arcade restrooms which I found next day. Four stars only because we found either one of the elevators to be in maintenance mode throughout the stay. Also, the pool gates were left unlocked risking outsiders using the facility.

Well supplied hotel just shop- purchased some books, pins, ornaments, stuffies, etc but they also have lots of other Yosemite merch/ clothes/etc.. Our cottage to queen beds and a lovely fireplace, refrigerator, safe and microwave. Thank you to whomever installed the shower head: finally one I can reach!! ( just over 5 feet high). Also loved the shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel scents, as I am usually pretty particular to hotel offerings and usually don't like them . Unfortunately, the AC did not work very well. Probably should've called maintenance for repairs, but we were out all day. Would definitely stay here again.

I went to bed after a long relaxing bath, and woke up to the trees as my first view. Get dressed, put on my boots, got firewood, and put on a crappy pot of coffee so that I'm prepared to do nothing for the day. Point is, this place has personality; however, you feel free to be yourself. This place is not perfect, but it is great! It sleeps 6 people. Only 2 miles away from the southern entrance of Yosemite. Perfect for family & friends to disconnect from the busy life of the Silicon Valley and go out into the woods. You'll have to bring your own food and drinks, but the kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of equipments - an amateur home cook's dream! I had absolutely the best time here and definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to disconnect from the world for a brief moment and just breathe in some fresh air.

I enjoyed the balcony, comfy bed, and clean bathroom. I found it beautiful that there are plenty of stellar jays flying over the B&B inn. There was sights of deers, butterflies, and many other creatures to see. The balcony also had comfy rocking chairs which gives a homey feeling. For breakfast there was only a bagel or pastry nothing else. If you're driving there are many restaurants and food places in the towns an hour before B&B inn, but after passing Oakhurst town there will be far drives to be able to go to marts or other food places.

The room we had was the Mariposa room and it was beautiful and large! We were amazed as everything looked clean and there were 2 bathrooms(one had the shower and the other had the toilet). Please make sure to read ALL of the rules that are in BOTH bathrooms that are hanging on the wall(one of them is right near the toilet and the other is in the other bathroom near the hair dryer). Pamela had also greeted us and told us about the continental breakfast and that you are to eat it in your own room. She would later enter your room when you are not there to pick up the dishes. She was also helpful with any questions in regards to what to visit in Yosemite. We loved our private balcony and the view of the stream flowing by. Pamela surprised us by hauling up some rocking sitting chairs on the last night of our stay onto the balcony. We enjoyed that very much and the peacefulness. We also enjoyed the fridge in the room but also wished there was a freezer as well as we had brought our own ice packs. Cons: As much as we did not mind Pamela coming into our room to get the breakfast dishes while we were gone, we did notice a few things that felt odd. First, she took our used shower towels that was hanging on the inside of the horseshoe rack and rehung it on top of the horseshoe rack holder. She even took out the squishy non-slip padding in the shower and rehung it. She made our beds(though we could of sworn that one of the rules was that there was NOT going to be any room cleaning, etc. She took some of our other towels that we had used and replaced it with others(which was fine). BUT, she THREW AWAY my small styrofoam cup that I had left nicely on the sink counter. I had brought it from home and had used it to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. Who does that?? Who throws away someone else's things? I was very upset and it kind of made our stay there less enjoyable knowing that someone had gone through your stuff. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with a nice room and view but think about items that belong to you and what things you wouldn't want anyone to touch or throw away. We also suggest you bring your own food as there isn't really a place to eat at except for a place slightly down the street that sells sandwiches(it was good) or at the expensive restaurant at the hotel down the street. If you don't bring your own food, you would need to drive ALL the way back down the windy road into town.

Okay that's fine we know we are early but it was not a warm welcome. When we asked what we can do near the hotel in the meantime she responded "I don't know but I bet you can find something". This was my first time to this city and Yosemite. So we said screw it and drive into Yosemite valley. It is about an hour drive on a road with a lot of tight turns. However it is beautiful! Now fast forward to around 7pm when we came back and there is a new person working the front desk. This man was super wonderful and helpful. He gave us all the info we needed about the area and the hotel. This one man turned out initial opinion on the hotel around. Now the room is not much. Super tiny room with one bed inside. However you can basically park right outside your room, which is super nice. A major downside, the walls are so thin that we could hear the conversations and the tv from the rooms next to us. One of the rooms didn't turn off their tv till 4-5am. A huge redeeming factor of this hotel is breakfast. It's included and is a good continental breakfast. The lady working it was super nice and welcoming. Also another nice thing with this hotel is we saw no kids there. So it was a ton of adventurous adults. Huge bonus. I still wouldn't stay here again but huge bonus. So overall, minus one lady the staff was incredible and so was the breakfast. However the rooms were horrible. The hardest part is in Fish Camp you have only a few options to choose from. So it is this hotel, Tenaya up the street, or going to another town. Personally I would recommend go to Tenaya or into Yosemite and stay at the Wawona Lodge. You will probably have a better experience.

I was in the Fish Camp area region for a weekend wedding and it was the cheapest room I could find on there. Messaged through the booking to ask if I would be able to check in early b/c the regular check-in time is 3 PM. I had a wedding at 4, so I just asked if I could arrive and get a room early and they obliged. One thing that I thought was strange was how the bathroom came with the usual soaps and stuff, but no toothpaste or toothbrush (probs just too used to international travel....). Their Key Drop off is literally a drop off. You just drop the key into a mailbox looking thing that's outside the office that you check-in at. Location: It's close to Tenaya Lodge ( which is where I was attending the wedding, so it worked out for me). It's a little strange b/c to get to WCML, you drive in through a narrow street and it's at the end of the street. It's about a 1 hr drive to Yosemite from here. Breakfast: I've included pictures, but for some reason I was expecting more. But they did an okay job for a small place. They had a lot of beverage options: tea, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, and milk. Wish they had more "food" options other than the toast, waffles, sausage, and hard boiled eggs. I guess that's just because I'm just picky about the food I have for breakfast, but I really shouldn't be complaining b/c the breakfast is included in your stay with no additional cost. Parking: They take note of what car you have upon check-in, but there's ample parking available. You should be able to get the one right in front of your room. Room Condition: Room was fairly clean and the bathroom shower looked like it had been remodeled recently. The room I was in was fairly small (Queen bed), but I just needed a place to sleep for the night before heading to Yosemite the next day so it worked out. WiFi speeds: When I tested it, it was fair. I have T-Mobile and don't have cell reception around that area, so it was useful to route myself from there to Yosemite and it was good enough to download the area offline for future use. TIPS: If you have to check in early, feel free to send a message to WCML when you're making the booking on Booking.com and they'll let you know if they're able to accommodate. A few things, this place can accommodate 4 adults but it is not a two bedroom place as advertised. There is one room upstairs that has two twin beds and one queen bed. Has one bathroom downstairs. The cabin is a bit outdated but I'm not sure what else you expect for a cabin in Fish Camp. It had the essentials though. It had a kitchen, with a lot of pots and pans and utensils, some spices, refrigerator, tv with DVD player and Cable (dish). They had a bbq grill but we couldn't figure out if it was charcoal or gas and we didn't have propane or charcoal so we didn't use it. The beds were not that comfortable and the sheets and pillows seemed old. Actually everything seemed a bit old in the place. John was very gracious throughout the whole reservation process and called us while we were there to make sure everything was ok. Overall, we had a lovely time but for how much we paid, we were expecting a little better. The other thing is this is one of the only dog friendly places around Yosemite which made it our go to place.

The restaurants were close by and Oakhurst was just a short drive down the mountain. The creek water level was very low due to the lack of snow melt but we still managed to catch 1 good size trout. Staying on the south end of the park was a new experience for us and it was just wonderful. John is very knowledgeable on the area inside Yosemite Park as well as restaurants to get a great meal. The locals were all friendly and had loads of information. It was very pleasant to talk to them in the mornings. We are definitely coming back next year for our 5th Annual Motorcycle Road Trip. Our cabin was nice and clean and had board games for kids to play with. I liked the smell of their complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion that the lodge makes. There are also outdoor games like Bocce and ping pong tables. If you want to relax, the lodge has a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, and massage room. They also set up bonfires to enjoy s'mores in the evenings. We really enjoyed their All-you-can-eat BBQ night in the swimming pool area. The pool bar made delicious drinks. That was our hangout!! If you don't want the All-you-can-eat BBQ, there's a restaurant at the lodge to order food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or you can buy snacks at their General Store. They also sell beer and wine. The General Store has souvenirs as well. Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite also offers glamping tents, a laundry room, bike rentals, and fun classes for adults and children, for example, if you wanted to learn glassblowing. You can also book tours from the lodge. Our toddler enjoyed the kids' playground and I enjoyed the zip-line. The lodge is less than 20 minutes away from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir with beautiful views of a waterfall and it's a 17-mile drive to Yosemite National Park. We look forward to going back next summer and staying at the same location. A must visit Yosemite!! Happy Yelping :)

The Ahwahnee is huge and decorated with a Native American vibe. I loved all of the stone work and chandeliers. The massive stone fireplace in the lobby was awesome - I could picture how relaxing it must be in the Winter. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers while we waited for some of our group to come back from a hike - we ordered the Grilled Halloumi Cheese and Tomatoes, Albondigas and Potato Chips to share. For drinks, we ordered the Campfire Coffee, an Old Fashioned, a Lemon Drop and a mocktail for our daughter. Everything was really good - especially the Grilled Halloumi Cheese and Tomatoes. The Ahwahnee also had a gift shop and a candy store - plus conference room space. I obviously cannot comment on the rooms or check-in since we did not stay at The Ahwahnee, but all the staff that we encountered were friendly especially Tony at the bar who took great care of us. Overall, The Ahwahnee is a great place to check out and take in the views - they have a nice patio area with an amazing view of Half Dome. We'll be back again next time we're in Yosemite!

We also had a board of Californua Cheese, the Smoked Wings, and the Crispy Cauliflower, which appears just like Firecracker Shrimp. I loved the Bison Chilli, but I got so stuffed afterward and had to oack my Fish n Chip to go. King Salson with bok chop and mushroom was great. Cicopini, which has several seafood with garlic bread sticks in tomato sauce was impressive. Mushroom Regu and Beet Sakad were delicioysly perfect for vegans Our servers were super friendly on a busy night. We were so glad to find this place on our trip to Yosemite. Unfortunately, no one has been able to assist me when I call. I was told that I needed to email the restaurant manager, Rachel T., but she has not responded to any of my emails. I also left a voicemail, which has not been returned. What happened today was especially unacceptable. I called and spoke with an assistant manager named Sarah. I explained my frustration and asked whether she could assist me or connect me with the restaurant manager. I also explained that one of the reasons we chose this lodge was because it could accommodate our group and had an on-site restaurant, which is especially convenient when traveling with multiple families and children. Sarah's response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She laughed aloud and said, "You booked here for this restaurant, not to see Yosemite?" I then asked to speak with a manager because her response was completely inappropriate. Before the issue could be addressed, the call was disconnected. After nearly a month of unanswered emails, an unreturned voicemail, and this extraordinarily disrespectful interaction, I am extremely disappointed. Rush Creek Lodge urgently needs to retrain its managers and assistant managers on basic professionalism and customer service. This level of treatment is unacceptable.

The AC works but was too noisy. The smallish mattress and pillows in our room defiantly needed updating. That's an easy fix. There is a really nice (and quite large) restaurant and bar. Breakfast and dinner were excellent - we met the chef who is new. He cooked up excellent meals! Overall, id stay here again if I planned to eat here and knew that the bedding was updated.
