Broken glass window in your car? Come to this place! This was what happened to me in Sept 2014. Called around a few places, people are either impolite, did not answer phone, only work on front windows, or repair dime size holes in windows. This place, they can replace my rear window! (Note for readers: Found out during my research time, Oreilly and Autozone do not sell glass windows! So a somewhat challenging do-it-yourselfer task, and I am not much of a Amazon web purchaser, especially when I want the window replaced 'here and now', not wait for a few days for the part to come in, and drive with my broken window to pick up the part... etc.... and if you are reading this because you have a broken window in need of replacement, you know what I mean about 'urgency' and 'convenience'...) Spoke to a guy on the phone initially. Later find out his name is Omati (spelling?). Very knowledgable person, great phone personality, and extremely helpful too. Then scheduled an available time to meet and work on the car. The price was lower than expected (another big plus), and as a do-it-yourself person myself, at the price i was quoted, I just let them do it. Throughout the process, he walked me through from beginning to end, and on the day of installation, Mr Techie (Omati) texted me his address, I came over, they fixed my car in about an hour (fast!), even vacuumed \ cleaned up all the glass in my car (WoW, I was not expecting that!) . My rear window is completely replaced. It was as if nothing happened to my car! No post-clean up for me. Done deal! So, being long winded up there, let me just summarize for the speed readers. 1. They have it. 2. They are fast. 3. They are priced well. 4. They are available on the phone. 5. They know what they are doing. Reputable! 6. Big clean place! (btw, they do not just do windows... other things too.) 7. They are about customer service. Phone-wise, in-person, and the work itself. All phases show... THEY CARE! My daughter was visiting from LA and had her car broken into and the back quarter panel glass broken .. she certainly did not want to drive back to LA with the glass missing. I called Safelite and spoke to someone in the mid-west. I prefer to deal locally so I looked on YELP and the reviews for Express Auto Glass were totally correct. They ordered the glass from a dealer. and Had it the next day. They gave her an appointment and were very prompt. Efficient and the cost was 1/2 of what Safelite was going to charge. Did I forget to mention that Safelite was also unable to give her an appointment until the next week!! There is nothing worst than walking back to your car and finding out that it was broken into. Good thing Express Auto Glass exists. I called in and found out that they offered the lowest price for an OEM part. Other places offered the same price for used glass. I took my car in and they were able to fix it right away. Had problems with my toyota highlander 2011 drivers side power window. The window became unaligned and wasn't able to completely close. I called multiple shops for quotes, but None of them even wanted to tell me in detail what could possibly causing the problem. This shop though, explained in detail what the problem most likely is and provides some estimated quotes. The work and price were great with Excellent customer service from Omonti (manager). After everything was done I noticed a rattling noise when closing the door. Omonti hooked me up and took even more time to open the panel again to stop that rattle. read more

I called many auto glass shops around the Bay Area to understand my options for repairing a cracked windshield after learning that going through insurance for this repair wasn't a viable option. Spoke with Amad, who gave me a competitive price quote over the phone & was able to service the car the following day. Service was relatively quick & the price I paid was what we discussed on the phone (no games), Minor hiccup: the windshield glass they had in stock that should've worked didn't exactly fit & they worked quickly procure another one, which added another hour. Most likely, that was an error on the part of the glass manufacturer. Fortunately, they have WiFi in the waiting room & are close to a plaza with a Starbucks. Overall, I will be recommending this shop to friends/family having auto glass issues going forward. read more

I usually do not bother with reviews, but I always read other people's reviews before I buy anything or commit to any service. However, I will make an exception this time for Express Auto Glass in Hayward. They truly cater to customer's needs and their price was exceptional. My car was broken into and rear window was smashed. Took a day off from work to get it fixed and to replace my driver's license. In the past, I have gone to Safelite Autoglass. Their prices are not the best, but I was willing to go just because they are well known. This time they were not able to accommodate my schedule. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was forced to call around while waiting in line at DMV. I read the wonderful reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. The young man who answered gave me a great quote (1/2 the price of Safelite's quote) and was able to accommodate my schedule. The moment I arrived, they took my keys and worked on my car right away with minimal paperwork. They were done in one hour. I was truly impressed with their service!
