Recently instead of asking "You have rewards points, do you want to use them?" they started saying "Do you want a FREE snack/item?" and giving you a very small selection of items to choose. I chose a gummy worth 7$ and they used my 5$ in rewards without even asking and $2 of my money. I went back to ask what happened, but the employee just smirked and acted like he didn't care and told me "well the DM told me to say that". Another employee overheard, so i asked her about it. She agreed they were supposed to phrase it that way and not let us know we were using our stored points or our own money. The original employee I talked to said "I asked you if you wanted to use your rewards points on a snack and you said yes." and I immediately said "No you said 'do you want a FREE snack' then charged me for it." I understand they 'have to say these things' but he acted like I was insane and so did the other employee. I went home disappointed in this franchise I thought I trusted. I wasn't offered anything for the misunderstanding, not even an apology. I understand their probably not paid enough to care, but it just sucks and I honestly feel stupid. In better news, I love their items. I bought Official Murder drones merch and I absolutely adore the items I got. I just miss the old trustworthy employees.

I've shopped here on and off over the last 20 years since I've lived in the area. Everybody says go…read moreto Nordstrom rack. Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job.
