I called before coming in and specifically asked whether license plate stickers are issued on the spot after the smog is completed. I was told yes. Based on that information, I chose this business. After I arrived, completed the smog, and paid, I was suddenly told that my stickers would be mailed in 2-3 weeks -- the exact opposite of what I was told on the phone. When I pointed this out, the explanation magically changed to "the DMV only allows one transaction per 24 hours" and I was told to come back the next day. To avoid another wasted trip, I called the following day to confirm everything was ready. I was told yes, everything is up and running. When I arrived, I was then informed there would be a $70 charge for a "re-issue" of stickers that were supposedly already sent out. These people are friendly. I will say that. But 100% SCAM artists. They even have signs posted around the waiting room stating they do smog and stickers same day. It's a SCAM read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Van has never failed a smog in 10 years and do regular maintenance and oil changes so I dont have mechanical issues ever Went in and "failed" they said so needed to come back another day, thats all they said didnt say why Of course I didnt like that but ok, went home and tooka few days came back "failed" again bit they ask if I replaced the battery, yes I had just added a new battery Well they tell me that erases my history and so I failed for no history in vehicle computer NOT smog fail and they didnt mention that after first visit so this 2nd visit was a waste of time and gas both And now need to go drive 100miles to create history first, wait what? So $4 a gallon gas I need to go burn $45 of gas for no reason How do I know when it is ready to test again, they suggest I buy a $80 tester to plug in and check All through this is all a serious issue for me because I am in the middle of chemo so everything is a struggle and just getting out of house is a struggle to do Had tests and chemo and felt horrible so took a few weeks before I got it done and came back Well come in and now they wanna charge me again because now I am over 30 days by a couple days All of this because their communication is HORRIBLE and attitudes were dont care On Chemo for Cancer and only Disability to survive and $80 for a tester and $45 worth of gas is a much bigger deal to me than other I am sure but this whole experience was horrible as they took no responsibility for wasted 2nd trip and simply had we dont care attitudes HIGHLY suggest finding a different smog shop their all over! Going somewhere else for sure never going back UPDATE: They reply below to email them to discuss this which I did and have heard NOTHING BACK FROM THEM! I saw this place on yelp and due to proximity to work and the yelp special listed, I was inclined to try it. This was the first time I've needed smog for my car. The man at the counter was unprofessional and would caution women coming here on their own. It's beyond disappointing that this is the world we live in. I only expected professionalism but not only did I not get that, I was charged $58 not $38 and some change as advertised (and I specifically asked about the yelp special) and my hood of my car is not closed (light is on now) and I couldn't easily fix. read more
