Midtown smog-- not 5 star certified (yet) they are working on it! Drove in on my lunch break to get it smogged because my car was so overdue! The guy was so nice and it took probably only 13 minutes! He also put air in my tires and informed me of an important recall with my battery! It was $65 dollars! I think it was so expensive due to a fine from the dmv for not getting it smogged back in November... or I got ripped off! But whatever, I'm just glad it's over with' They have a nice little waiting area with water, a candy bowl and appeared to be a mini fridge! read more

Midtown Smog was quick and reasonably priced. Make sure to check their website for a coupon. I input my contact info and they contacted me the same day to schedule my smog appointment. The shop is located on the corner of S and 16th Streets, you can enter from either street. The staff were very friendly and DMV received the smog results the same day. I waited at the shop, it took maybe 20 minutes. If you don't want to wait at the shop, there are at least 3 coffee shops in the area. Midtown Smog has great service, and great prices. read more

Midtown Smog is small and very unassuming - it is right on the corner of S and 16th Street (left hand side), and if you aren't paying attention, you will miss it! Do not expect any bells and whistles when visiting - but expect good service and pricing. they are very flexible in terms of appointment times and will have you in and out within 20 min or so. I came in for smog and Lemar helped me, as soon as I walked out of my car I felt the hospitality he offered some snacks, he had us take a seat and he even offered to pour us a cup of water, even though it was two steps away, and I could've easily done that myself. Lemar then proceeded to have a genuine conversation that didn't feel like "elevator talk" all while taking care of the smog. He was so friendly and so nice that I even forgot that I was there for the smog, before I knew it, We were already done! Lemar also gave me tips as my car was approaching 100,000 miles to best preserve its lifespan which I could tell was coming from a place of being genuine and authentic and was looking out for me.
