I don't think we've ever had a smog test done this quickly... in and out in 5 minutes and passed with flying colors. $41 for the test; pretty reasonable in my book. Of course, we came at the end of the day when Vick (the owner) was getting ready to close up, but he was nice and took us in. Also gave us some good tips on where to find nearby supermarkets with DMV kiosks to get our registration sticker. The only thing that kinda bugged me was that Vick wasn't wearing his mask even when talking to us, but luckily we stepped back far enough and there was plenty of ventilation around the place since it's practically all outdoors. read more

I needed a quick star certified smog test this morning before work and I called a few places in pasadena and Vick was the best deal I found! If it wasn't for Yelp,I would have missed out again. He was only one of the 4 business of the first ten that actually had a working smog computer for my 1989 Toyota! He explained all the steps and actions to take to get my registration done (even though It's provided on my DMV form), but best of all, he only took 15mins and charged me 50 bucks!!!! I have used this smog test center twice now, and I will continue to return. Vick is very professional, honest, and gets the job done quickly. They used to offer coupons on the back of Vons reciepts, but even without, it sets you back about $50, which I figure is average. For an extra 25 bucks, Vick can do all of your DMV processing as well, and you can get your sticker on the spot.
