I have lived in NOVA for over 3 years and without any hesitation, I can say this is the best brazilian wax I have had to date in the DC/NOVA area. Sarah was fast, professional, and completely adorable! I made an appointment for a bikini wax and she took me in exactly on time. I don't get waxes regularly so I was a bit nervous; she was soothing and made me feel very comfortable. She did an excellent job, making sure that everything was just how I wanted it. Her prices are very reasonable ($35 for a bikini wax). I used the Yelp deal this time which made it a steal, but I'll definitely be back - no Yelp deal needed. Prior to my visit with Sarah I was a loyal client of Bliss. However, I was dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of attention to detail at Bliss so I started looking for another option. Sarah is now my go-to girl for waxing for sure. She got every single hair, removed every single ingrown. She took care to spray me with the numbing spray before waxing and put on aloe after waxing. Sarah took me at the last minute, fitting me in at the end of her long day, and it was by far, the best legwaxing I have ever had! She was personable and very, very professional. I've gone to estheticians in Texas, Maryland, and Virginia, and Sarah is by far the best I've ever used. She made me feel comfortable and completely normal from the minute I walked in. Great customer service, clean and sterile waxing room, and quality products. Not only did she do the wax, but she took me back early, took care of ingrowns, finished everything in less than 15 minutes, and gave me a discount. First time waxing and I had the best experience ever. Today I went in for a brazilian and underarm wax and eyebrow threading. The reviews about Sarah are absolutely correct, she is amazing. I was nervous/anxious and Sarah and her sister made me feel at ease. They explained the process thoroughly, even after care and it wasn't painful like I thought. Yes, you do feel it. I called and spoke to a guy who was nice and gave great directions. He said they could get me in ASAP, so I headed there. It was not to busy down in the area and parking was not bad. It was around 11am on a Wednesday. I had my 4yr old daughter with me "yikes". I went in looking for a lady name Sara, from the reviews, but she was not there. The lady who helped me I believe her name is Mei. (Very sweet lady) She had me get on a massage table to wax only my eyebrows, it almost felt like I was getting a massage. It was so relaxing, Who would of thunk that an eyebrow wax could relieve stress. "Pain meet Pleasure" and to top it off, she was so kind and caring to my 4yr old daughter, I felt like we was family and I was at home. FORTUNATELY my wax place in DC is closed on Sundays and I was only in the area for the weekend so I was on the hunt for a new place. I don't trust many people when it comes to waxing, especially brazilians, so I will admit I was a little worried to try someone new. I am SO HAPPY I gave Express Wax a try and I would recommend SARAH to EVERYONE!!! She was 1) the nicest person 2) made me feel extremely comfortable 3) handled all of my silly waxing problems (sensitivity, nervous laugh, etc.) and made me laugh the entire time. I have been to Express Waxing about three times now. I went based on these reviews and the first time I went I had an amazing experience. The woman I had the first time did an awesome job on my eyebrows and was very friendly but since then she hasn't been available and the others haven't been great. They also wouldn't let me leave a tip on my card and told me I had to use their atm which has a $2.50 charge which I thought was kinda rude especially since I didn't think they did a great job and I hadto wait 15 min after my appointment was supposed to start. read more

Great. I've gone to many places and this was by far the best waxing experience I've ever had. They're pros. It's what they do, Greatly minimized the pain, smooth results, little redness and no ingrown hairs afterwards. I had my first visit on Halloween and Sarah was in costume which was fun.
