They happened to be serving them on gluten-free bread that day, due to the mad rush and honestly, I never would have known it was fantastic. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The L'Alveo was rich, creamy, and wonderfully indulgent, while the La Rossa was bright and refreshing. The eggplant in the La Rossa was the star. Every bite was excellent. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate. The green beans had some sausage added for a great flavor, though slightly under salted for my tastes--and easily remedied with a quick shake.
