For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

Bri is tenacious and does an amazing job on insurance claims and Joe was professional and personable to oversee and coordinate all the work. They work with the field teams to meet the claims adjuster, schedule the work and ensure all the details were cared for and the end results turned out beautiful. With an Owens Corning class 4 roof- I'm hopeful this will last for years to come and withstand the storms!!

There is no extra "trim coil" at the top to fill the opening. (note: some trim coil is required around any window frame along with insulation and sealant.) I will report the same to the BBB. FYI, nobody asked me to update my review. I only want to be fair and complete. The windows they sold me are very nice. The window itself was never in question; just a problem with my measure and install.

I wanted to give a special shoutout to Isaiah (paint POC) and Wancy (crew foreman) for all they did to help the process go smoothly. Isaiah walked me through how the whole painting process was going to work, and he does a QA check at the end to touch up areas that I didn't even spot (or would probably not care that much about). He helped me understand the differences between paint products and warranties, and he just really wants the customer to be happy with the job. Wancy's crew worked really hard, even with some weather challenges--and showed up promptly at 7:00 AM every day for work a 10-12 hour day. The guys work really hard, and yes, you should absolutely feed your paint crew while they're working on your house. As for Vivax, it's not the cheapest. It might even be the most expensive, but there's a reason why you see so many Vivax signs in your neighborhood because they work they do is really good. At times, I didn't love the process--there are a lot of handoffs from sales to project manager to wood guy to paint crew, etc. This creates multiple opportunities for upsells and price adjustments, which can be unexpected, so I'd build in a little buffer from your original estimate because your salesperson is not the subject matter expert on any of the trades. The salesperson might say the crew can do something (like move a shed), but in reality, you need to do it yourself, but your salesperson is long gone by that point in the process. As a result, there are times where you might not know who your point of contact is, but that's where Isaiah really stepped up and played that role. Like we had an issue after the wood work was done, and Isaiah made sure we were taken care of. They do communicate with you, and things run VERY on time, but you will talk to about 4 more people than you might've expected. For some people, that might be good, but it would be a little simpler with a central point of contact. Regardless, when we're talking paint, the most important thing is the end result. Our house looks great. Isaiah, Wancy, and the crew worked really hard, and this is something that we will probably not have to do again for at least a decade. If you want the job done right and your house to look great, you can't go wrong with Vivax. Because painting your house is a huge investment, it might hurt your wallet a little more, but they'll make sure the job is done right.

Everything else was subpar. The contractor did no drywalling, no baseboards, no caulking of the walls around the replaced floor or the new wall. Granted the contract did not specify finishing, but "replace a floor" and "demo and rebuild a wall" would imply so. I had to find others to do this finishing/drywalling, costing me more. And they did a horrible job on the floor replacement. They said they leveled it, but when you step on the newly installed LVT floor, there are dips all over the place and you feel like you are stepping into holes. Bad. To top it off, they put the washer and dryer back, which covered a 2" gap they missed on the floor. Shifty move there... This company needs to stick to just doing showers. Yeah yeah, I could have fought it and argued and hassled the contractors into doing it right. But I'd rather just move on and fix it myself. IF you hire this company, make damn sure you specify every little thing you expect them to do. Do not trust generalities and "best practices" and expect them to be professional. You will be disappointed. And may I add, the response you see from the company below is BS. It came immediately after posting, which tells me it's some AI junk. How lame. I am not going to waste my time with "Contact customer service and select Option 1" and arguing with your customer service agents. Want to make it right? The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.
