They have handcarts that are free to use and that's a nice gesture. However, loading and unloading are a pain because you need to put in your code each time you come in and out - and if you're literally in process of moving from the dock to the unit, the door needs to be closed in between each run (this happened when the moving company I hired was moving me in - even though they had their guys in the truck on the dock, the door couldn't be propped open while they loaded into the unit.) This means you'll need to be at the door letting your movers in and out the entire time because the door opens by bluetooth code only. Really a pain when you likely will need to be at your unit organizing / directing where things go. Another big negative - they have motion sensor lights above the units. So when you're in your unit, and you're reorganizing or looking for something, roughly every 30 seconds the lights will turn off above you. You'll need to motion them in just the right way to get the lights to come back on. VERY inconvenient. I asked the property manager at the front desk what the deal with that was and she simply said "sorry, we can't do anything about it." You... can't put properly functioning lights above the storage units? The one you're raising my rent on for $66 out of the blue for? Come on now... I don't recommend this storage unit.

I come trundling back with an over- and awkwardly loaded cart. Stuff falling off, bonking the walls. With no detectable attitude of, "You dumbass" that I deserved, Anthony offered to help and did--for about ten minutes, until my cargo and I were packed safely into the elevator. Later, because this is the kind of day it was, I broke the key off in the lock. Anthony smilingly to the rescue again. With a paperclip, a few deft taps, and well-placed fingernails, he coaxed the key carcass from its sarcophagus. He sold me a new lock and said If I can retrieve the other key and return it with the lock I can return the one I bought. His manner is gentle, genial, professional. I would recommend this facility--which is also clean and well-run--to anyone for whom it's remotely convenient.

They admit it was an error, but say that I must dispute the charge with my bank. Neither the bank nor I made the error. Why can't the business fix it? The fuel/transport fee was above average especially given the move location was only a 2 miles distance. They added an extra mover the day off bc we have stairs. Though that was their decision, we were charged above the quoted rate for the additional person. I paid cash, which gave us a 10% discount but with all the extra fees, the 10% isn't much of a savings. I still tipped and nothing was broken or damaged during the move. They also arrived on time and helped taped boxes that needed additional reinforcement. Boxes were placed on the appropriate rooms based on the labels. I would hire them again but would budget for 15-20% more than what they quote.

Leaving most items unassembled and taped or boxed up. The lead mover even threatened and did leave unfinished because I asked if the bolts on my bed were being stripped, as I could hear the drill stripping them. Then attempted to charge double what was quoted, charging me extra for an additional mover I didn't request and for unnecessarily used tape. They literally wrapped tape around a mattress and taped up sofa pillows and charged me an additional $165 for packing supplies used. But somehow managed to scratch up my entire dinette, chairs included. Giving them 1 star is being generous; there is nothing professional about them.
