*Advice potential renters- rent from a company that has a yearly lease with yearly increases that cap out at 10% or less. They do exist~ shop around. ** read Extra Space manger reply- they are month- to month and Will increase rates frequently... I called the Corporate number listed and let me tell you I have never been more displeased and unsatisfied as a paying customer. Because of my experience I will not take my hard earned money and freely give it to Extra Space Storage. When I called I was told I would receive a 1 time discount for the next month. However when the new month came, None of the Staff or Corporate managers kept their word on the 1 time discount. Instead I kept being asked "whom did I speak to, what day did I call, and we have no record of this call taking place". For me, anything after this is poor integrity and Bad customer service. I choose where and how I spend money, and I need to feel good with the exchange or it's a toxic relationship and I'm out, period. read more

Most accommodating storage unit I've ever had! I needed something that was available same day and was stuck between a 9X10 or a 10X10 and Dana helped steer me in exactly the right direction. She also recommended a moving kit, which included boxes, tape, bubble wrap! All of the necessities! She cleaned out the storage unit right away to assure that I would be able to start moving same day, which was crucial. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. - Extremely secure building needing your own unique passcode to get in the building and again to use the elevator. - Very clean facility - Most importantly the staff were always so helpful. A big shoutout out to Monique the manger and Micheal the assistant manger. - All of this gave me peace of mind that my belongings were safe while I was back in the UK. They are giving people incentives to write good reviews. This location is sketchy and unsafe. Accessible to anyone off the street. My storage has been broken into/attempted break in, at least twice in three months. Why my storage is being targeted? I have no idea. But I have a strong suspicion it's someone who works at this facility or nearby facility because they know the codes, know I haven't been to the facility since I moved my stuff there and keep going for my unit. I pay wayyyyy too much for SECURITY for this place. I have been renting from extra space off and on for 15 years, and this is the first time at this facility and this is the first time I've ever had anything happen like this. Matter of fact, I rented a unit for 4 years by LAX, and never had problems and it was cheaper. I was told I run the risk of getting robbed when renting a storage after I got robbed the first time. You run the risk of getting your house robbed too but that's not an expectation nor an excuse. This facility is accessible to anyone off the street as the gate is not closed because delivery trucks need to get in and out. There were several unsavory characters on the side of the building watching who was coming in and out. I'm paying MORE money every month for the added security this business is supposed to provide. Regardless of "terms and conditions" if your response is "file a police report" and "you know the risks", then they need to lower their prices and charge market value similar to the UNSECURE units in the area. I can't wait to get my stuff out of here and I will never do business with extra space again. read more
