When they arrived they packed all items really well but started loading the small boxes and miscellaneous items first. They randomly started throwing things in there as if this was their first gig. In the end they didn't have space for the items they were hired to move. They told me it would take a second trip to pick the remaining items. When they dropped off the furniture I saw that they already had some furniture in their truck which is probably why they didn't fit my stuff. In the end I paid 400 dollars more because they packed their trucks like an amateur and had other furniture loaded before they reached here. The guys were hard working but because of not knowing how to load a truck I ended up paying 400 more dollars. Wouldn't recommend these guys. Maybe this is their strategy to lie to customer and do multiple trips to cheat them..

At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. Please reach out so we can resolve this.

They gave us a preliminary quote for a 2400 SF house with 3 bedrooms stating it would probably be even less than the $4800. They sent out someone to do an inventory and it went to $4900 according to Nick. Then 2 days before the move, it somehow went to $7100. Of course it was impossible to find a company to move us cross country in 2 days so we were stuck. Then comes Kappa Transportation the sub. I was dealing with Sherry who informed me the driver would call me the night before the move to tell me a time of arrival. That didn't happen. I got a call at 8:00 am then 10:00 then 11. Around 12:00 2 guys showed up to move us. I called Sherry asking for more movers since we needed to be out by 5:00 and was told the 2 guys could do it. I called numerous times and finally was told they had a 3rd person but they had to drive back to get him. At 2 I called Willie the driver to see where they were and was informed the mover that came out that morning quit and stole the truck. Again I called Sherry who didn't answer, Nick with Summit didn't answer. I finally got a call that the owner, Greg was picking up 3 movers and they'd work throughout the night to get us packed up. At 8:00 pm Greg said no that would not happen. I said I expected 4 movers by 6:00 am to get it done. Much to my surprise I had 5 movers by 5:30 am. Granted 2 looked like young high school boys. It took 5 people 5 hours to load the truck so how Sherry thought 2 could do it in 4 hours is a mystery. While at our closing I got a call that all of our stuff wouldn't fit on the truck and they had to get another. They sent a pick up truck for the rest. The trucks were going to be stored at Kappa over the weekend and would head to Atlanta on Sunday to arrive Monday afternoon. 3 guys drove all night and arrived around 2:00. Of course I was told the 2nd truck would get there that Friday. On Thursday I called to get an eta and was told it would get there until the following week. The first truck had lamp shades but no lamps, table tops but no legs, winter clothes but nothing for the Atlanta heat. To put icing on the cake, I had to pay more since they had to send another truck. Robert drove the 2nd truck by himself and it broke down in Mississippi so it arrived at midnight on the 28th. I was lied to from day one. These guys are unscrupulous. Find a company that does the move themselves and doesn't sub it out. The only good thing about Kappa is Robert, the driver.

Ken and his helper were late but that was okay since it was early and I was his 1st move. They did not shrink wrap all of furniture so when his helper Mike stacked a short bookshelf and my nightstand on their dolly and it fell, the nightstand was damaged to where one of the drawers is not operable, will not open. He promised multiple times he would take care of the damaged item. That was 12/14/24 and it is now 3/6/25. Now he is not communicating with me, did not respond to my calls, stop responding to my text messages. I did not want to provide a bad review so I waited and waited and waited. Now I'm just mad and disappointed. If I had read his company reviews and BBB complaints before I scheduled my move with Ken, I would have spent my money, including the tip I gave, else where. Ken is full. I would not recommend Ken's Reliable Movers for anything.

AirSea wrote back they could not honor the quote after all because they were too busy! Completely unprofessional. I ultimately found Masterpiece International to assist and received a quote a full $1500 less than AirSea! Although I notified the company of my dissatisfaction, no-one ever called or responded in any way to my complaint. Unprofessional to say the very least and ill prepared to handle issues with professional designers, this is not the company I would ever use.
