I've been a loyal customer for almost two years now and they rose the price on me about 6months in. Not to mention, I've recently paid a month in advance but since the digital pay system was updated (to a better system) it seemed to have gotten lost in the transactions. I paid till the 28th of January 2023 and they're now notifying me that I did not pay through January. (Screen shots should be taken every payment) Might be the last month I may use their services. However, they have been flexible with me in the past and the storage unit is clean and accessible and temperature controlled. I also recalled that this is a reoccurring issue and that back in May , she was made aware of it. Ashley responded by asking " do you own a home?" then suggested that I should stop renting out of this location, where I have been for several months. Another tenant, named Susan, was present during my call with Ashley and could be heard complaining about the extreme heat, just like I did. During our phone interaction, Ashley was on speaker phone and other Tenants witnessed her extremely unprofessional and rude behavior ( she kept on talking over me). Susan, the other Tenant, was so offended by the manner in which Ashley Sutton spoke to me, that she went to the office and informed Matthew Lunstrum. Ashley referred to me, the paying Client as: " Hon" and in a condescending manner suggested that I should take my patronage to a different company. Clearly, Ashley forgot that the agreement that I signed states that these storage units are supposed to be climatized and free of pests. She's selling these units as " climate controlled" but that's False. Back in May when I noticed the lack of climate adjustment, Ashley lied and stated that it would get fixed. Today, she rudely responded that someone would get called but the issue will not be fixed on this date. If Ashley was a "homeowner" she would know that once the HVAC SYSTEM is fixed / a Tech is in fact called ; the lack of climate adjustment issue doesn't keep on occuring.

The property manager on site was complaining about me staying too long in my storage unit when I only spent 1 hr organizing my items and clothes and told me I'm only allowed to be at the storage unit for 20-30 min a day. Then today as I was walking off the property the property manager harassed me telling me I'm banging on his office door with no proof it was me and was definitely racially motivated because he told me it was hard for him to pronounce my name when I first checked in. at this point I refuse to use the bathroom on site due to being harassed everytime I access the storage unit and it being an issue for just renting a storage space wouldn't recommend to anyone I suggest purchasing a U-Haul next door.

All my stuff was destroyed by water, mice, bugs and the people who work in the office know this is going on, and they sell this insurance with the knowledge of knowing you will not get anything for damages. The company they have is a third party cubesmart, handling complaints and they won't even return a call from you. This whole business needs to be shut down!!. This is horrific, my furniture and my stuff all was destroyed and to the point of unrecognizable after all the water and mold and bugs and mice that destroyed everything. The office is rude and just blatant liers. I have pictures of all the damages and would like to post them if yelp wants them I would not go near this business, stay away, they need to be shut down!!! This review is for U-Haul equipment rental, not storage units…read more I needed a trailer to help a friend move some things. I had maybe a week's notice. Every place near my friend or I seemed to be out of trailers. I put in a reservation at one place and the U-Haul corporate customer service called and said the trailer wasn't available. However, there was one at YourSpace Storage (YSS) at Ballenger Creek. I said that was fine and my reservation was finalized. Come the day of, I'm scrambling to get out of work early to make the hour-long trip up there to pick up the trailer. Of course, it's rush-hour, and traffic is pretty bad. I'm rushing, taking every bypass and shortcut I can think of trying to make my 5:30pm reservation time, which is pretty much impossible. As I'm on my way, I give YSS a call and on the line is this warm, friendly person filled with positive energy. "Hello! This is Lindsay at YourSpace Storage at Ballenger Creek. How may I help you?" I explain that I have a reservation and that I am running late and was extremely apologetic. She understood my predicament and said she would be waiting for me. I finally I get there at 6pm, right at closing time, and she wasn't mad or anything. She had a smile on her face the whole time and worked with me to get the trailer rented quickly (I didn't want to hold her up any longer). Within 10 minutes, the paperwork was finalized and I was able to help my friend and everything was great. I really appreciate Lindsay's courtesy and compassion. The fact that she was willing to help me even though I was late, it really made my day. Thanks, Lindsay!

Two…read moreemployees, Ingrid and Sarah, are repeatedly allowing customers to hook up their own trailers - something U‑Haul policy clearly states must be done by trained staff for safety reasons. On top of that, they are charging customers for an extra rental day even when the return is only 15 minutes late, despite U‑Haul's official 30‑minute grace period. This isn't a misunderstanding; it's a pattern. This behavior is unprofessional, unsafe, and unfair. U‑Haul corporate needs to take a serious look at what's happening here

Read the reviews for yourself...I was so called "hired" and asked to come in for 2 days to get a "feel" of the job..So no I was not hired but I was asked to come in and do work anyway. I did not get a decision until I texted the manager 2 days later asking her for clarification. I was expected to drop everything going on in my life for this job to come in and clean trucks. WITHOUT BEING FORMALLY HIRED by the way? I notified that I had a doctors appointment and that was her last straw for me to reject my application, after 2 days of working. Even tho she said she would work with me on my schedule. Just horrible, don't bother and don't waste your time to be put on "trial" for this simple job, and get an update 2 or 4 some days later.I have never heard of a company putting a potential employee on "trial" it's the most ridiculous thing, and I've had a wide variety of jobs. To top it off most of her employees don't even like her as I quickly found out. Don't waste your time, really don't.
