Address the part where you stop responding after you were completely paid.. address the part where…read moreyour workers left trash in my yard over 11 empty water bottles.. address the part where they just left abruptly rude... address the part where I paid for two extra men so that it could go more swiftly and it still took longer than the first move even though most of the furniture was already packed and ready to be moved... your side of the story only argues my argument. It doesn't prove or fix or accommodate anything! FURTHER PROVING MY POINT! I asked you to come on site to make sure everything ran smoothly, and you refused, I told you I had a problem with your crew the first time but I did not want to have another moving company come in and touch what you guys had already packed. That's the only reason I rehired you!!! I sent you several pictures of broken lamps and you never responded. I called you numerous times to tell you that one of your men disappeared for a whole hour. I literally beg you to communicate with your crew on how long it was taking and at the end everybody became rude and it was one woman which is myself against four strangers and they were all men!!! Let's face facts on this internet, you're not about customer satisfaction you're about clearing your name. Maybe if you gave me a partial refund that may help. I felt completely taken advantage of. That second load was completely unnecessary because they were small items that could have fat on the truck the first time just like it did with the first move. But I was charged extra and it felt like it was out of malice. At the very end of the night everybody just stopped working got my money and left trash in my yard. You stopped responding. Let's be clear!!!!!

I really don't know why it's so hard to find a trustworthy moving company these days but I am…read morereally considering just moving things the old fashioned way in the future. Houston ProMovers started out strong. I was really impressed with Pete and Daniel. They both seemed very professional and honest. And for the most part, they were. My issue was with the lead mover guy that showed up to my house the day of the move. We requested packing and moving our stuff to a storage unit. They provided the boxes, tape, tools, etc. The packing and moving took about 7 hours total. We were charged just under $200 an hour (about $189 to be precise). There were a few things underhanded about how the lead mover guy handled the move: - He kept saying, "there is a 9 hour minimum" though his English wasn't good so maybe that was misinterpreted. This was the first we heard of any minimums. - He kept telling us that we would pay the moving company a portion but then him directly a portion. - He was trying to lure business away from the company by offering to have us go through him directly for our next move. I'm all for saving money but not from someone that operates like this. The move took a little under 7 hours to complete. He asked us to pay the moving company the 7 hours plus costs for boxes but then asked us to pay another 2 hours to him directly because of a "9 hour minimum". I hesitated and questioned why and he claimed that they are not compensated for all of their work or something like that. Again, his English was not good so I wasn't completely sure. As I started to push back more, he said, "If you didn't like our work, then just pay me 1 hour instead of 2." Was this his way of demanding a hefty tip? Not sure. Regardless, we went ahead and gave him 2 hours of pay. Not to mention when he saw my wife alone, he then ASKED for a separate tip AFTER his under the table 2 hours was already paid to him. We planned to tip already and we understand the importance of doing so. I HATE surprises when your expectations have already been set. And I am constantly having bad luck with moving companies. Even when their reviews are good online. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the work was solid and they worked hard. But I definitely wouldn't hire them again, unfortunately. Btw, I notice that nowadays companies try to reply to your reviews to get the last word but just look at my history of reviews. I'm an Elite Yelp member. I don't have to lie about the experience I have with a business. This is an honest review.

On Friday, I booked a move for today 10/19, 1-3 PM. At 12:16 PM Melvin called stating a driver would be reaching out to me soon. Melvin called back at 2:46 and said "yeah our guys are just backed up right now and won't be able to get to you until some hours, can you take a priority move for tomorrow?". After I said I could not, Melvin stated he was going to reach out to his "sister company" to get additional assistance. At 2:52 Edward called and casually stated "This is Edward, we'll be there in an hour". At 4:31 I called Melvin back and asked him what was the update with the sister company. He stated "let me call them and see". He called back less than 2 minutes later and casually said "yea our guys had an emergency on the way to you nobody is going to be able to move you today." This company treated me as if I was the problem when I paid for a service they were not able to render. Melvin knew at 2:46 PM they were not going to provide services, yet kept me waiting hoping I would settle for a "priority move" Monday. They were not apologetic about inconveniencing me, letting me know they do not think they are replaceable.

This moving company is great. First they'll come at least…read more1-2 hours late then they will begin complaining that the furniture is too heavy and they may not be able to lift it up to the next location. Next they'll will break your furniture in front of you and tell you that the it was previously broken and they will document it. Then they'll give up on dismantling furniture and make their customer help them with dismantling the furniture. I think this company is great at doing half ass jobs so keep that in mind when you hire this company if you are brave enough. They also held all of my furniture in there truck and drove off threatening to take my stuff unless I removed my original review

THIS IS A POST OFFICE and it is so close to me!!! I am very happy to discover this place out…read morebecause usually if I wanna mail something off I always drive all the way over to the Almeda Mall area and even though the drive isn't that much of a drag. It's still pretty far considering all of the lights I pass when getting to my destination. It is right next to Food Town, and even though it may look small from the outside looks are very deceiving because it fooled me I thought it was going to be a tiny building, but instead it was really big on the inside. The staff is one guy; he is very nice and friendly. He didn't charge me anything to tape up my package (for Chegg), and he gave me the best options to send my gift packages off. He also allows you to see the information that he is putting in, so if what you are saying he doesn't understand your accent. You can see if he is spelling the location right. Yesterday, I went in and I was telling him the location I wanted to send my package and since the guy was hard of hearing he couldn't understand what I was saying, and I was saying it loud. So, he showed me the screen and I just corrected him. The one on Almeda isn't like that; you either have to write it out or if they understand the computer app will verify it. Also, they sell Stamps, small boxes, you can do notary, and mailing here too! They don't just ship local, but all over the US, and countries too! But, this place doesn't have any public restrooms (though Food Town does), and they also sell local pure honey from Santa Fe, TX. I thought that was cool!
