Stay far away from this facility!! I had two separate break-ins a year apart, and they never repaired the area where the thieves gained entry. Apparently there were homeless gaining entry to the facility and staying after hours, and the facility did nothing about it. They refused to take responsibility so I'm left no choice but to contact an attorney. read more

The manager there, Julio, is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I booked and PAID for my storage unit online. He called to confirm everything was complete. He then mentioned that the storage access ended at 8pm instead of 10pm, like all the other Extra Spaces, which I have multiple units at. I then asked how long is the grace period if one was to accidentally go over the time? Eg. Closing up your unit and you realize you're might roll out at 8:02pm, nothing insane. He proceeded to tell me that he would say your name over some loud speaker like he's a military commander, and then you are FORCED to move out for one simple unintentional infraction. I voiced my surprise to that because not only is that absolutely absurd, but ridiculous to treat any consumer like that, especially a repeat one. We ended the call. This man took it upon himself to CALL ME BACK an hour later to chastise me like a father to a child, and tell me that if I don't adhere by his rules that he was going to refund my money for the unit that I ALREADY PAID FOR! I asked him why was he calling me back when we already had this discussion? He proceeded to tell me that I NEEDED to answer him the way he wanted me to, or he was just going to cancel/refund my unit. Me being VERY confused by this interaction asked him why is he making a business transaction personal?! I have never met this man... This is the most asinine behavior that I have ever experienced as a consumer of a major business. This man clearly needs a lesson on how to deal with adult customers vs his own children/household. I will definitely be looking to close ALL of my storages in both counties and take my business where it is appreciated. read more

I went to get a quote and Ellyse was there. We arrived at 8:52am and she said they don't open till 9am. Their website said they open at 8:30am. We decided to run a quick errand. We came back and asked for availability and she continued to have an ugly attitude. We explained we needed a small storage. She had asked about what exactly we were putting in storage. We said it was very small items. She said, 'well I need to know.' Very rude manner. We explained it was only two bikes and a tool box. She recommended a 10x15 for $268. We asked for smaller. She said, 10x10 for $200. We continued to ask for smaller and we finally got the smallest unit price. Now why in the world would we want a 10x15? For two bikes and a tool box. Girl bye! They will try to upsell and please don't let someone like Ellyse tell u. Anyways, we went elsewhere and glad we did, after reading the reviews. read more

This place will double your rent with no notice! I rented a 10x10 storage unit in Oct '24 for $100/mo. In March '25, they DOUBLED my rent and did not tell me. I was charged $204 and I found out through my bank statement. I called thinking it was an obvious mistake. And that's when they claimed they mailed me a notice - I *never* received anything. I had to fight with them to get a refund for the difference of the additional cost. Julio and Lauren are scam artists. They will reel you in with a "special" only to turn around and increase your rent 3-4 months later. And the increase won't even be $20 or $30. They will DOUBLE it and act like they did you a favor. Save yourself the headache and get a storage unit elsewhere. These people have a terrible business model that highly inconveniences their customers. read more

I was at this facility this morning and observed a white camper truck parked at the 1st entry door to the units that clearly was being lived in and I could smell marijuana coming from it. I observed a male loitering close by who apparently was connected to this truck. I observed what appeared to be an unhoused lady, no vehicle come in the gate and used a key to get a bag of items. This facility continues to be questionable for the unhoused living in and on the property. Despite the camera's and staff being present, activity happens during the day. I can understand how the break ins can happen. Please supervise this property and make it safe for customers. I'm directing this review to the management. read more

Staff is very kind. The clerk at the front desk, Andrea was very helpful, and I'm glad that she was there to escort me to/ from my unit after I had some trouble. Called back and was forwarded to the local store and of course nobody answered. Still no word from management a week after getting my unit broken into ransacked and robbed. Nobody is taking initiative, ownership nor responsibility. If zero stars were available that's what they would get. read more

We have had a storage unit here for about 4 years, it's almost doubled in price. We just moved out and there was rat poop all over our stuff, a cabinet was stepped on from above from before they put cages over the top. There were homeless people living in the hallway one aisle away from where I was there alone organizing our unit for move out. I alerted the manager and the very next day they were still there. We rented a space at Extra Space Storage today in Riverside. It was great! The service was excellent! I talked with Brandon on the phone first. He set up everything in advance for me. He was very helpful and kind. After we got there, Andrea helped us. She was also very kind, professional, and helpful. We were in and out in no time. Andrea was very patient. She walked us through everything, answered more questions, and assisted us very quickly, even thou the office was busy. The facilities are very clean, with easy access, and the prices are great! If I could leave this place with 0 stars I would. Started renting in May and already noticed people living on site with worn down vehicles and every time I came tweakers had access to inside the storage facility and were using the restrooms. I came to check on my unit in early January and found out my keys did not work. Come to find that the cylinder lock had been swapped. How did this happen? We had the lock removed and found out my items had been stolen. Some of the items were serialized and I located them in a nearby pawnshop and had been sold already. I got the dates of when the items were sold to be late September and early October at 2 different times. The last time I checked my unit was early September. So a couple weeks later the thieves broke through the top of my unit and disassembled the cylinder lock from the inside and went to the front of the store and bought another cylinder lock and replaced it with theirs. I have pawn shop receipts with dates of when my items were sold. What's interesting is the thieves did not touch the neighboring unit even though they pulled it back. Only hit my unit even though they had months of access without anyone knowing. I had been paying storage space rent for October-December and no one noticed/or did the proper checks to see if units had been burglarized. To top it off when I found out my unit was burglarized I had seen 5 other police reports on their front desk of burglarized units. It's very clear they never intended on telling anyone these things were happening over the last couple of weeks and months, not even a courtesy call to come check your items to make sure they are safe. I wanted a refund for the months of October-December because I could prove my items had been stolen since September. I wasn't asking them to pay for my stolen items as I had insurance. I just wanted to be refunded on 3 months I paid for basically nothing. They told me it can't be done. So if I had kept paying their space rent and didn't check my unit I would have been paying for months and months of rent even though my items had been already stolen under their watch. They've swapped managers and employees multiple times since I've started renting here and they do not care about people's personal belongings. Do not rent here at all. If burglaries are happen you will not be informed as they believe they don't have to inform anyone. No one is on sight after hours and they don't have people reviewing footage of recordings. This is not a safe place. One of the worst experiences I've had with customer service as well as their "district manager" read more

Don't believe what the reviews you read on the websites. Do not store your stuff at this facility. Within just a couple months, they increased the rent. Within the same couple of months that I've been there, all my stuff got stolen and no one at the facility bothered to contact me. It was over a month that my stuff has been missing and I only found out when I went to go out stuff in my unit so in knowing that my stuff has been stolen and not contacting me, they were just going to keep charging me. They keep a log of who does these storage "checks", but for some reason they can't seem to find out who did the check that day. It's clear that people are living within this storage facility and there's no one after hours to kick people out. There's poop and clothes thrown everywhere during the mornings in the facility.
